Nor'baal looked up at the side of the Glorious Jewel, specifically at the large sign reading "Core Compounds", a fake name for an equally as fake company. Personally, he was astounded by his own staggering genius - how better to get access to a water processing facility, than to pretend to be a water filtration unit company? Still reeling from his mindblowing strategic might, the Hutt barely noticed his long-suffering droid tap up beside him, nor the two Gamorrean guards, who were certainly not criminals he had dressed up in overalls with his fake companies logo sewn on, carrying a large crate between them.

"My L...I mean, Mr Fa'athra, the 'filtration unit' has been unloaded."

Nor'baal rolled his eyes as the droid made inverted comma gestures with its hands. Talk about subtlety. Nodding, he ignored the droids indiscretion, and picked up his datapad, before turning to see who else was coming with him. <Grancha. Uba dopa, yoieu da phoba yatuka an jot yoieu don bu phatpola.> the Hutts deep voice boomed its instruction, and the pig-like serfs oinked in reply.

The outbreak games, could begin.

Davik got out of the speeder van wearing the same kind uniform as the Gamorreans. The cig in his mouth was brown, thin and the smoke was scented, but not in a good way. "You two know we brought a hoverpad for the crate, right?" he asked the Gamorreans, shaking his head and gesturing towards Nor'baal that his two lackeys didn't have a single braincell between them.

The Ossein smuggler thought he was fortunate to count Nor'baal among one of his frequent customers, well.. the Hutt was his only frequent customers for usually no one decided to hire Davik a second time. No matter, with the steady flow of credits the Catscratch was doing better than ever and Davik didn't mind stepping outside of his beloved ship for this one time to assist in a more hands-on capacity. New Alderaan was pretty specist, much like they say the blown-up homeworld of Alderaan had been, so it helped to have a human oversee the work. Something like that, Davik didn't really understand it, but he had heard that Hutts were a persecuted species on their own homeworlds and were now forced to flee and actually work for their credits. Credits that would naturally flow towards the smuggler when it was time to leave the planet again. win, kriffing, win.

"Let's hurry this up. We're not getting paid by the hour." he told the others as he started walking towards the water processing facility.

The Gamorreans looked intensely confused - but by Nor'baals reckoning, that was pretty much how they always looked. There was the small issue that neither of them spoke or understood basic, so Nor'baal, ever charitable and kind, came to Daviks rescue.

<Uba koochoo. dotkot wa wuehkau noh um baw wah phoba.>

They looked at him, and continued to carry the crate.

<Eeth fa dah bu wuehkau noh uba pee-chah.> Nor'baal despaired at the lack of good labour these days and rolled his eyes. Finally, they got the message and loaded the crate onto its pad, and together, the group got moving. Continuing toward the processing plant, Nor'baal drew up short of the bored-looking security guard at the door, who peered at him over a clipboard.

Eying him up once, and then the rest of uniformed posse, the guard sighed.

"Name?

Immediately, Nor'baal drew up to his full height. <Uba gee bu yanay see babhat bu lhonu an banpacmoh Nor'baal, dee Lanka Desilijic. Daien, chee sa yae!>

His droid translated into basic.

"Durga, Water Filtration Specialist from Core Compounds, and this is Max Capricorn, and then Burk and Dirk. We're here to install the new Range 5000 Advanced Filtration Unit, order came in from Head Office as a rush job this morning."

The man checked his clipboard and mumbled under his breath some choice words about 'Davin' from 'Operations'.

Waiting to see if they would be let in, Nor'baal could have sworn he felt a little nervous.

The guard took his time looking at his clipboard and while the Hutt was still on the fence on whether or not he felt nervous, Davik certainly felt his heart beating in his throat. "Come on, man. We also have a call to fix a Range 2300 Filtration Unit in a residential area four hours from here." he gestured towards his wrist, suggesting they were on a tight schedule. There filtration units were commonplace enough. You had the main ones and then the secondary ones that filtrated water based on the species living in particular residential areas so everyone had water they could actually drink. "I'd like to be in time for my shift with the newborn,-" ah the troubles of a working class man becoming a father. No credits to spend, both parents work their asses off and sub-par healthcare make for a lot of long nights. "-wife's working tonight."

If it helped, Davik didn't rightly know, but the guard did nod and let them through. "I'll check with Head Office while you guys work, no need to delay unnecessarily," he smiled slightly towards Davik as he said the latter. The man was probably someone's dad, too. Well, Davik wasn't a father. He'd made the whole thing up, but it was nice to see his improvised stories actually work for a change.

Once inside the group could just follow the signs to where the were supposed to go. The job could mean the certain death of Davik's wife and their newborn child, which made the smuggler somewhat sullen and melancholic as he had begun to believe his own cover story. His wife looked like Meera, the Cathar slave he had rescued a few years ago. Their son was... a rodian!? Davik blinked a few times and snapped out of his daydream. "I hope they pay up, not really looking forward to, you know," causing the death of an entire planet's population because its government refused to pay a measly one billion credits.

Hutt's are not common outside of their space, so when word travels over comms of a Hutt and his crew doing a filtration job, Tal perked up quicker than a business man on spice. Still in his Nakadr guise, and still on New Alderaan for GME, he would excuse himself from the security office and go out looking for some rabble-rousers. After all, as a loyal Enforcer for the Crymorah, and an enemy of the Hutts, who could pass up on the chance to kill a Hutt?

Getting on a speeder he would race to the coords provided, after all, where Taldorak was wanted in the Core and Hutt Space, Nakadr was an upstanding security contractor and had won the goodwill of New Alderaan for his presence on the game show. Thankfully, he was only a handful of miles from the address provided. It was always good when security was unsure about a Hutt.

This time, he had opted for his jet boots over jet pack and wrist rocket over whistling birds. The games were afoot.

Silently, Nor'baal had to respect the absolute titanium balls on Davik as he effectively blagged the teams access to the planet. Keeping silent, so as not to push the group's luck, the Hutt continued inside with his crate-bearing Gamorrean 'workers' in tow. They moved at a moderate pace into the plant, turning down a corridor and passing through several sets of blast doors, into the main filtration area itself.

The room was empty, save for a large water tank below them, over which a thin walkway could be found.

<Yatuka fa don bekiola. Jee hatkocanh yoieu bu cahba.> the Hutt instructed, as he thumbed the blast door controls and sealed them inside. Nudging Davik, he grinned from ear to ear "Lighten up Lorso, this is just business. Profitable business mind you." he chortled to himself. Nor'baal had never understood the squeamish nature.

It wasn't as if these people mattered anyway.

Behind them, the Gamorreans cracked open the crate, revealing a carbonite frozen disease riddle corpse. Nor'baal let out a booming laugh.

It felt good, being bad.

A few miles away from Nor'baal, was none other than Lucifer Starck. He had just recently been given a simple task with a great payment to infect the water supply of the New Alderaanian water facilities. He was assigned a Core Compounds ship same as Nor'baal's. This was to make it look as official as possible. The Half-Chiss would be dressed in his guise as a water supply contractor. He brought a few of his own men along for the sake of trusting them to get the job done properly.

"Alright, Tohni. You know what needs to get done I'll handle the security."

"You got it boss, we're ready back here."

After arriving at the facility on the other side of the city, Lucifer would meet with a guard after bringing the fake ship to the gates. The Half-Chiss was taller than the man and far more muscular in build. When the guard walked up he looked at the blue man staring back and became slightly scared,

"Oh.. we don't see many of your kind around here.. "

"Yes I know. I am Chiss now can we get this going? I'm trying to raise a family with this job.."

"Oh yes, of course. I just gotta check the crates in the back and you're good to go."

"Go ahead."

When the guard started walking back to the backside of the ship, he would open the doors to the group of men in the back. There were crates though they did not contain was told.

"Alright boys, you'll take that first left turn and start unloading in there."

"Thank you."

With that Lucifer was hopping back into the ship and making his way to the unloading bay. Hopefully Nor'baal can hold up his end, it was going to be needed if this job was to get done properly.

When Tal reached the plant, he would slow his speeder to a stop at the gate. The guards would hail him and he'd hold up a hand. "Here on New Alderaanian business. Run my certs if you need to, Nakadr. Recently contracted over on GME. These calls got flagged, so I volunteered to act on it. We believe the people you just waved through are here to do something nefarious. So get your men and put out a call. Suspend any water treatment activities until this investigation is over with. Rather be safe then sorry, right?"

The guards would look to each other before one stepped away to comm the Head Office, to pass along the warning. After all, delaying the job would be unfortunate, but if this new arrival was right, they could also save some people.

"You guys got a way to control the water flow, right? Shut the valves and shut it down. Call whatever authority you need to get the clearance for it. In the meantime, I'm going to investigate. Now if they're dumb, they'll lock the doors. Worst way to blow that your doing something illegal. If they are locked, you guys can open them, yeah?"

The main guard would then think the questions over. "Valves we can do, Head Office should be able to make that call. The doors, depends on which ones... We'll try but we make no promises."

"Comm channel? So I can keep you guys updated?" The Mandalorian would ask. "Actually. Here." he tossed him a datachit. "Comm me, we're wasting time." With that, the Mandalorian would run off for the target building. After all, couldn't let them know they were being discovered.

Reaching the door, he flagged over the guard, who would try his keycard, only to know avail. "Huh... That shouldn't happen."

"Idiots..." Tal mused as he walked to the side of the building, looking for a way up.

Meanwhile, calls would be made to the Home Office, encouraging an emergency water shutdown as well as warning a potential problem, which would likely heighten security at the other plant. Calls would also be made to the government of New Alderaan.

Ruzaan was bored stiff. He was visiting New Alderaan for research purposes- part of a class project meant to study what a successful resettlement program might look like in light of the AMS virus- and while he wholeheartedly agreed that water was an important resource, the tour of the processing facility was very, very dry. He was shuffling through the facility with a group of about a dozen other humanoids, led by a Mon Calamari female who droned on and on about the history of the water plant.

So bored was he that he didn’t notice when the tour stopped, and bumped into a human in front of him. Apologizing hastily in the face of the man’s angry stare, Ruzaan looked up and noticed that they were outside a room marked “Filtration Center”. The tour guide was struggling to gain access to the room, with the computer console repeatedly denying her badge. Clearly, this was not a planned part of the tour...

Just then, alarms began to blare throughout the halls of the filtration center, echoing discordantly while red lights pulsed in warning. Ruzaan's hand dropped unconsciously to his lightsaber hilt as the tour guide began ushering the group to his left down the hall; Ruzaan ignored her. His hand then closed around his short-range comlink, upon which he quickly dialed the number for emergency services. "This is Jedi padawan Ruzaan Kai- I'm inside the water filtration plant, and there are alarms going off. How can I be of assistance?"

Elsewhere on New Alderaan....

Nicolas was in his Senatorial office on New Alderaan when there were calls regarding the water processing facility. From what Nicolas can make of the situation, there are alarm claxons going off at this facility, there were tips about suspicious people there, and calls for Head Office to shut the water off. They don't have any other details yet

With all that, that seems like enough reason to take some action, especially with the state of the galaxy as it is now. New Alderaan has been vocal about their anti-Sith stance, has been working on increasing it's defenses and fleet power; this could very well be part of some kind of Sith bio-terror plot. There is definitely a right to be concerned about these developments, as they are capable of stooping to newer and newer lows at any time. Nicolas didn't suspect the Five Syndicates because the Sith have been more prevalent.

Ultimately it's better to be safer rather than sorry, it's better to avert a crisis before it can begin. Nicolas was a good Senator and not one to ignore threats, he would make sure that these things are being taking seriously. He would start by getting on his deskphone towards the Head Office. Once someone picks up. "Hello there, this is Senator Clément. I am hearing that there are alarms and reports about suspicious people who gained entry at this one processing facility just a few seconds ago." he would pause as he hears the other person reply. "Shut down the valves please. There could be Sith present trying to do something, we shouldn't take any chances." Although Nicolas doesn't technically have any authority on New Alderaan itself, he will still look after his world and his word does have some weight on the world.

Not too long after, Head Office would give the clearance for the values to be shut off, leaving the plant to start the process of shutting them off, they would need some time though. The next thing would be New Alderaanian responders going to the facility.

With that, Nicolas has done all he can do from where he's sitting. He hopes that this turns out to be a false alarm.

There were several things happening at the same time that Davik hadn't thought possible. First, for some reason, the alarms went off and then the water that usually ran through the filtration unit with some speed suddenly diminished and strength and flow until it nearly stopped altogether just as they had managed to open the crate with the infected. Before they could've even contacted the planet's government about their plot and the ransom, it seemed they were found out and all countermeasures had already been taken. As if.. as if they had known all along.

The smuggler looked at the Hutt for a second, doubt and fear clearly on his mind, but then he realized that neither the Hutt nor the Gamorreans were quite fit for their next course of action. Davik walked over to the control and comms panel of the filtration room, gesturing for the Gamorreans to take the carbonate chamber up onto the walkway. "Put everything in place per Shere's orders-" he said, seeming more confident suddenly than he felt. If alarms were going off and they were found out already, then the threat of letting loose an infected should give them some breathing room for an escape attempt.

Opening the line to the control room, Davik made sure to seem as irritated as possible. "What's going on? We need to install that Range 5000 Advanced Filtration Unit and we can't without water pressure. This isn't the time for a drill. We got schedules to keep!"

It didn't take long for someone on the other side of the line to answer loud enough for Nor'baal to hear as well. "Eh, some Mandalorian just showed up and said the Core Compounds crew was suspicious and we had to shut down the entire plant." Davik couldn't believe his ears, "Are you kidding me? I'm the Core Compounds crew! You just shut down the water supply of thirteen residential areas and three hospitals because some random Mandalorian thought the guys that come to install a new filtration unit were suspicious!?!? Who kriffing runs this place!? idiots?"

Worst part about it? Davik wasn't even lying. Cutting off the water for such a large part of the planet could on itself kill hundreds of people in need of urgent medical care. If this order would've come from the top, say a senator, then the rashness and culpability in those deaths would no doubt have said politician kicked from office and persecuted on behalf of the deceased. Water was essential to everything from healthcare and living to the vital industry of a planet. Shutting them off based on some random Mandalorian's order was... beyond ridiculous.

Davik turned to Nor'baal and shook his head, "Tell me you got an escape plan."

The mission came first.

Or at least that was what Nor'baal would keep telling himself, right up until the time came in which he came first. When the alarms went off, and the water flow dropped, the good humour of the Hutt dropped in turn. "Yench my skugs, we've been farkled!" he lamented, slapping one of the Gamorreans over the back of the head - as it was obviously their fault.

Once again, at the zenith, nay, the apex of his masterplan, the great Nor'baal had been let down by an incompetent underling!

Davik seemed to have a cooler head, however, and so Nor'baal calmed himself, it didn't do for the enlightened race of Hutts to lose their cool before mere humans, after all. <Boska, yoieu bai fa hee!> he barked at the Gamorreans, who positioned their carbonite capsule into place. Everything was ready, now they just needed those damn valves opened. By the time Davik had concluded his call, Nor'baal and the Gamorreans had everything in place, the Carbonite slab now in the bottom of the - unfortunately empty - water tank.

"Tell me you got an escape plan."

"Of course I have a plan Davik, what do you take me for? An amateur?! Nor'baal snapped back.

You do have a plan right? he thought, his mind racing.

"Come, we have done what we needed to do. The instruction was clear, get the package in. They didn't say the valves had to be on - we return to the ship."

It wasn't running away as such, Nor'baal reminded himself. It was simply a more strategically viable option to relocate their operations and persons, away from the nexus of the incoming trouble.

<Uba dopa, yatuka fa.> he snapped at the Gamorreans, as he made his way toward the door and slammed the controls, opening it to reveal a young Ruzaan, hand on their lightsaber, glittering eyes full of hope.

Nor'baal looked at the Jedi.

The Jedi, no doubt, looked back.

In his mind-breakingly staggering genius, Nor'baal recalled the words of Davik from his earlier commlink conversation to the control room.

"Thank the force you're here! There's a Mandalorian on the compound, armed to the teeth. They've come to destroy the water units, control told us the Mando disabled the valves, shutting of water to three hospitals!" Nor'baal gasped in horror "You have to stop him Master Jedi! Please!" he begged, horror etched across his face.

"By the force Max," he said to Davik, invoking his companions fake name for the day as they hurried off down the corridor "Your wife is in one of those medical units. I'm so sorry Max, let's hope that brave Jedi can stop that perfidious Mandalorian, and save her!"

No sooner had Tal begun to inspect the side of the building to find a way up, the alarms began to go off. Seeing nothing easy to climb, he activated his jet boots and propelled himself to the roof, where he began to move along. With the alarms going off, he'd get pinged by the security mastermind who likely waved the criminals in first.

"Head Office has been notified and they made the call. Especially with some help from the Senator. We're also notifying all personnel that the intruders are a Hutt, a human, and several Gammoreans. This will inconvenience people at most as critical centers will have about a days worth of reserves." He chimed.

"Yeah. Sure." Tal mused. Hed starting toning the guy out after Head Office. He was in hunting mode. After some trekking, he'd find himself over a skylight, looking down on a Tortugan kid.. and a Hutt.

The tour guides radio would chime with the warning about the infiltrators being a Hutt and his crew of 'workers'. And she'd shriek as she pointed at the Hutt. "Everyone get back! Those are the intruders!"

From his vantage point, Tal couldn't tell what the slug was saying he just saw a kid holding his ground and the guide point. Thankfully, being a licensed security contractor had its perks. He could have rifles. It was permits and clearances that the show had gotten him to protect their high value guests. As he moved a little more to look in the chamber that the Hutt was blocking, he'd see two or three forms milling about to the escape point and what appeared to be an empty crate.

Tal would activate his comm. "This is Nakadr. Eyes on the suspects. I'm engaging. Suspects appear to have emptied contents of a container." As he spoke, he'd lower and remove his DC-17x and begin to set it up in its sniper configuration. Once done, he would focus on one of the pigs. "Fuck. Pork chop has a sixth sense." Hed curse as the trio milled just out of sight behind the Hutt.

Mobile again. Tal would shift positions back to his view of where the lone Togrutan stood before the Hutt. Not as great as a sniping spot, so he'd have to re-configure and engage. "C'mon kid, don't let that thing lick ya." Hed muse as he ducked out of view.

Unfortunately, New Alderaan dispatch was just as uninformed as Ruzaan was. “Master Jedi!” came the reply. “We don’t know much- the alarms were sounded when it was discovered that authorities couldn’t gain access to the building, but there’s been conflicting reports and the situation is still developing.”

“Got it. I’ll see what I can find out” Ruzaan replied, making sure to include his physical description so that any friendlies able to enter the building knew of his presence. Ruzaan put away his comlink just in time for the previously locked door to slide open in front of him.

A Hutt loomed in front of him, its corpulent form filling the doorway. Ruzaan listened as it claimed innocence and entreated his aid in stopping a rogue mandalorian. Ruzaan tried to remain impartial as the memory of being double-crossed by a Hutt flickered to the forefront of his mind. A couple minor details nagged at him, however. One was the fact that the Hutt had been able to open the door without issue; if they were locked to legitimate authorities, why was he able to operate them? Second, if there was indeed an armed mandalorian attacking, why did the Hutt open the door? Certainly, the safest area would be to hide inside a secured room…

The Hutt must’ve seen his hesitation, because it lunged forward with surprising speed and sent Ruzaan sprawling as it barged past him and out into the hallway, leading a small cadre of henchmen in its slimy wake. To Ruzaan’s left- in the opposite direction from where the Hutt was running- came a yell from the tour guide confirming the obvious; the Hutt was to blame for all the commotion.

But to what end? Ruzaan grimaced through the bruises he’d just acquired and hauled himself to his feet. The retreating forms of the Hutt and three humanoids were growing further away, and Ruzaan thought about giving chase. However, curiosity got the better of him and he ran into the filtration center, pulling out his comlink as he did so and redialing dispatch.

“The Hutt, two Gamorreans, and one Human are heading East away from the filtration center” he reported, slowing as he reached the central water tank. “I'm in the filtration center and it looks secure, except…” Ruzaan gasped as he peered in at the strange slab of stone in the vat, realization hitting him like a proton torpedo. “There’s a body in the tank!”

Davik just followed Nor'baal out the door, muttering something about "So sorry, big fella, clumsy-" to the small child the Hutt had practically run over before raising his voice just a little, "They shut down all the water! My wife's in labor at one of the affected hospitals!" he tried his best to make it as convincing as possible while also confirming that his name was 'Max Capricorn'. Just in case any bounty posters would get posted, you see?

Luckily for the small crew from Core Compounds their uniforms and the diverse makeup of species on New Alderaan, for it was truly a refugee world for all kinds of species from all across the galaxy, made it easy for them to exit the building and reach their Core Compounds speeder. Well, they didn't reach it, for Davik had a sudden change of heart. "Nor'baal, our speeder will be watched." and he was sure that he had faintly heard someone yell about a body in the empty tank, which did kinda blow their cover at this point. Luckily for Davik, humans blended in easily and all he got to do was get rid of the uniform. "Let's split up," it wasn't a suggestion, for the partnership of Nor'baal the Hutt and Davik the Smuggler wasn't one where they went through fire to stick together, but one of individual survival. The Hutt will forgive him once he breaks him out of jail.

Davik didn't leave the building and instead ran off to find a locker room, where he ditched the badly stitched 'Core Compounds' uniform and replaced it with a shirt and some pants he found in a locker he may or may not have forcefully opened. To his own joy he also found a leather jacket and a pair of sunglasses, both which he donned to look extra 'cool' and then simply walked out the back of the building.

Shift was up, too cool for alarms. Time to get back to the Catscratch while Nor'baal sucks up all the attention.

As a refugee world, one that openly welcomed refugees from Hutt space, humans were not the only species in abundance on New Alderaan. Playing along to Daviks deception, it turned out that Lady Luck was smiling on Nor'baal today, as he heard the dulcet tones of the master race, as Davik suggested they split up.

Nor'baal could not believe his luck.

<Rab Ch'ah ch'epasahn ch'at ch'tra ch'at to Preefs Ch'un'bi bah Ch'azan'cor csihn! Veit carco vah cseo isr!>

<Ch'un'cr vatvo csart'avt vn'ini, csei s ' Ch'er bah Nacn ch'atbasio ' vumihn vurci nen ch'a batat tan'si! Ch'an'ciuh nah tun'hn neo cavpet, to tut'ut bah Nacn ch'atbasio viz cart nan'ei rab bun'zan'i ch'at nen Vot!>

Nor'baal sees them, a cornucopia of Hutts, a tour party - based on the t-shirt of their guide, a bored-looking Rodian with Hutta Holidays picked out in bright yellow. By the time Davik had finished suggesting they split up, he was in the group. Even better? He had not worn a 'uniform' for his fake company, only the Gamorreans and Davik had. As they all went their separate ways, Nor'baal relied on the art of deception, joining the group of Hutts, refugees, on a notable refugee planet, and gently slipped the guide a few credits, buying his complicity.

Together, the Hutts wriggled along, gasping and remarking at the 'genius' of New Alderaans water processing technologies. The Rodian, who was desperately trying to herd the Hutts out of the facility, due to the loud alarm going off, sighed, as his charges made progress toward the exit, grumbling all the way.

<Veo ch'a ch'esen'bim'i!>

<Ch'ah tuzir k'ir bah in'a bah csea!>

<Veo csihcapucin'hn?>

He would stick with the group, as gently they meandered their way out of the courtyard, and back to their waiting transport to continue the tour of New Alderaans engineering marvels.

The New Alderaan responders were still on their way towards the water processing facility, the closest ones on the scene were edging close the way there, but they would not arrive in time to interfere with the escape of Davik or Nor'baal, with them being able to get away without issue.

When the responders arrive, they would work quickly to secure the plant. Following that, there would be an investigate what happened, talk to any witnesses (including the Mandalorian and the Jedi if they would still be present on the scene) and .etc. It wasn't just responders who had their work cut out for them. There was a carcass in the tank. The facility workers would have to do what they need to do to get that out and the steps to make sure the facility is clean and anything else needed to do to restore non-contaiminated flowing water as soon as possible.

OOC Note/Edit #1: I was mistaken that the carbonite would've melted after being left. Further edits may be coming but I've got D&D tonight and some questions to have answered first. Thanks for understanding.

Edit #2: clarified Ruzaan't thought process when making his decisions, and extended the arrival of the response team from 5 minutes to 10.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ruzaan quickly shared information at the request of the dispatch; a large block of carbonite lay in the central water tank, housing what appeared to be a human male. The dispatcher asked about the lights on the side of the carbonite, and after Ruzaan relayed their colors and arrangement she informed him that the individual was, unfortunately, deceased.
Ruzaan frowned as he processed the information and guarded the area. He was certain by now that the Hutt and the others hadn't been a legitimate water filtration team, and it didn't take a genius to understand that the carbonite did not belong in the water tank; there were no carbonite processing facilities in the facility, and the carbonite container (labeled as a Range 5000 Advanced Filtration Unit) was empty. Given the "technician's" urging to turn on the water, he guessed that they wanted the body to be exposed to the waters of New Alderaan.
What he didn't know was why, and he doubted that the corpse inside the carbonite had any answers either. That question would have to wait until the proper authorities arrived about 10 minutes later. They came with a full hazmat team, which made Ruzaan feel underdressed for the occasion, but one of them assured him that it was standard operating procedure given the suspicious arrival of the body. Ruzaan answered their questions to the best of his ability before he was sent to a nearby hospital for evaluation and some general testing; again a standard operating procedure as the preliminary investigation appeared to point to a biohazard threat. One of the tests, a rapid AMS test that Ruzaan didn't think twice about, would come back negative.
