Designed by the renowned Droid architect Shia Toom, the ORX-1 Series Combat Droids are the a versatile yet powerful combat droid built for the purpose of helping The Order defend its compounds. Designed with a quality over quantity view the ORX droids are fully optimised for battle, both offense and defence. They have a high capability to withstand massive loss of structural integrity before total system failure, being able to fight without the loss of one or two limbs. The main weak point of the ORX series is what would be the stomach, were the main power unit is held, a strike by a lightsaber or heavy blaster will be able to disable the droid. All ORX-1 droids have a multitude of internal systems built solely for combat including standard learning programs and basic knowledge of Form I of lightsaber combat.
