Dawn of the Rebellion
Battle of the Reckoning

480px-Korriban_space_station.png

For ten years, the Empire has stood without consequence. No one could stop their advance across the galaxy. The Galactic Alliance, the Mandalorians, the Chiss; all fell to the supremacy of the Sith Lords. Some, however, have attempted to stand up against the Empire. One of those individuals was Sisk Renelo. A symbol for the Mandalorians, he opposed the Empire and their tyrannical grip on Mandalorian space. For the actions of his people, the Sith Lords set fire to the Mandalorian sector, slaughtering everyone they could find - except for Sisk Renelo, captured and left to rot in an Imperial prison.

But the Mandalorians weren't the only ones to oppose the Empire. The Galactic Rebellion has been born, forged by dissidents who seek to overthrow the Empire. This rebellion consists of beings from all walks of life; Alliance, Jedi, Dark Jedi, ex-Imperials, civilians, and even Mandalorians survivors. The Rebellion is determined, but few. It requires all the allies it can get. Though Mandalorians have sworn vengeance against the Empire, they remain scattered. And while wary of Sisk Renelo, the Rebellion knows it needs a symbol to rally the remaining Mandalorian clans together.

With the help of defected Imperial High Marshall Konstantine Arkyadvich, the Rebellion now knows that the Empire is keeping Renelo aboard a prison known as the Reckoning, a space station located deep within the voice space of the Tingel Arm. The Rebellion has chosen to assault the Reckoning and free Sisk Renelo so he can be used as a symbol to unite all surviving Mandalorians to the Rebel cause. Even if Renelo cannot be rescued, assaulting the Reckoning is a victory in and of itself; anytime the Rebellion can expose a vulnerability within the Empire, it moves the Empire one step closer to defeat. The mission will not be easy, however. The Rebellion will need to infiltrate the heavily-fortified prison and find Renelo, and then fight their way back out against Imperial defenses.

The Battle of the Reckoning is primarily a Rebel operation, due to its in-universe status as a sneak attack. With the exception of Reckoning Warden Audroti, there will be no Imperial or Sith PCs in the battle. Audroti will command many NPC defenses. There will be two (2) Rebel PCs, who will have NPCs but much less than the Empire, as well as Sisk Renelo himself. If you are interested, please sign up with your Rebel character and we will choose the participants on Wednesday evening.

This is the dawn of the age of rebellion.

Never thought I'd see Sisk as the resident Katniss Everdeen, but hey. Good luck!

In all seriousness, the rebel leadership - in-universe - doesn't really care about Sisk. They just want to use him to reunite the disaffected Mandalorians and bring them into the Galactic Rebellion.

Rebels and Mando's and Sith? Oh my.

This has personal interest to Arya, with Sisk being one of the few prominent surviving Mandalorians, and Audi was present with her at the battle of Kaut. I'd be happy for her to participate, along with SoB and any other skilled and experience Corusca ground team members or other competent Rebels who might be interested.

HAHAHA, IC Ral probably also shares these sentiments. I'll sign him up for this, but not out of loyalty to Sisk.

I do not think that there will be any other Sith or Imperial PCs aboard or involved in this thread unless otherwise stated by both sets of Faction Leadership. This sign up thread is strictly for Rebels who wish to participate in the thread and attempt to rescue Sisk from the clutches of Sith Master and Warden of the Reckoning Audroti.

That being said, I REALLY look forward to the thread and seeing what obstacles I as a writer can put in your way in attempt to claim victory over your forces. Best of luck, and lets have us a good "clean" fight :D

That was made as a joke because Kes is a Sith who was born in Mando and the Mandos would view it as a betraya.

I'm applying with Ayonahim. There are two reasons off the top of my head as to why she'd be good for this particular mission:
1) She was/is a member of Clan Renelo
2) She just happens to be a medic.

Wait, are you saying that the Imperials have been treating Sisk pretty nicely, despite common opinion? Or is that a joke/sarcasm?

I feel like this is just gonna end up being like Rise of the Old Masters... or maybe not so bad, maybe Sisk will actually just be alive... just barely... and without, you know, limbs. Meh, we can replace those.
