(OPEN) Bushido Kaji...Just another Duel

Kaji Pesanka, Padawan to Master Matsu Ike was standing straight up inside a large Jedi training area in the jedi temple located on level 210. He was relaxed his mind was clear.He reached down and rest his hand on his lightsaber hilt while breathing in through his mouth then out through his nose.

He knew nothing of who would come and duel him.He knew that usaully if you stand inside a training room someone will come and eventually duel you.He was ready for anything he knew his skills and would use them greatly.

Soresu was a form which required much practice and determination to master. Sebastian was more than willing to spend hours and days studying the form and perfect it. He had begun to contribute Vapaad into the technique while using some Ataru maneuvers to gain distance. Though these applications were few and far between, they weren't beyond him, at this point, to execute them properly.

Sebastian Solborne, now 19, had been through only two missions. But these missions were grand and taxing. He learned much about himself, the Force, and his Lightsaber techniques during these trials. With his first Master killed by Sith, his new Master was about the polar opposite of the man he once looked up to. However, she was just as able and skilled as the most powerful of Knights.

The number '210' was lit on the elevator door and the hydrolics made a low hum as he shot towards the sky in the Dueling Ring. It was more or less a random number and he wanted to make this encounter as random as possible.

The hallway was full of red light. One green light shone above a single door in the corridor and he started his way to the open ring. He pushed the button and the door slid open, shooting air from various locations as the metal retreated into the wall.

The sight of a tall and toned man stood before him. A closer look would show that he wasn't much older than him, if he was older at all. "Hello, I'm Sebastian Solborne. Would you like to duel?" he introduced himself bluntly, not one to have any kind of social tact or grace.

He turned around after smoothing his hair once again to face another boy about around his age but not his exactly.Kaji hoped he came to duel because he wanted to try his new form he has been practicing with,Ataru.The man spoke in a welcoming tone not threatning at all.

''Umm yeah,Of course''Kaji replied to his question''And nice to meet you,I presume you have at least some knowledge of the lightsaber''Kaji Reached down touching the hilt of his Lightsaber. He took a few steps forward before wrapping his fingers around his blade removing it from his hip,Sliding his finger up the side and igniting its beautiful Yellow blade.He swung it through his fingers like if he were doing finger exercises in the air.

His question was somewhat insulting. Someone of his age would know the lightsaber well. It seemed redundant. Regardless, he bowed and unleashed his own light blue blade quickly and fell back into the opening Soresu position.

He couldn't get where the fellow Padawan was going as he twiddled the hilt in his finger. He thought 'Makashi or Ataru' since the others were less showy and more direct. It wouldn't matter, Sebastian would hold back and allow the other to make the first move. Only the right time would he then decide to strike.

He smiled,He bowed to his opponent before holding his saber inches above his hand with both hands.Kaji then Without hesitation used the force To jump high into the air.He swung his saber higher above his head then cut down fast towards his opponent's mid section.

If He would fail this attack he had his free hand chamber at his side ready to use a mild force push to his opponent's face.

Sebastian hardly read the young Jedi's intention, but jumped effortlessly with him, mirroring his movements. However, his own blade stayed low, to counter any kind of attack he would unleash. This took shape when the Padawan launched his green blade of energy down. Sebastian met it with his light blue blade, knocking it upward. He used both hands, which proved for a strong attack.

Kaji then pushed with the force to his head. But he used this to spin his body in the air and reposition himself.

When he landed, it was behind his opponent. Sebastian dashed to the other side of the room to jump to the middle of the wall and rocket himself back across to meet with his sparring partner. His lightsaber was held behind him so the strength of his arms could would force through any kind of counter.

Unknown to himself, he was using Vapaad in the mildest of manners. It was very controlled, and his power was great. Innately aided with the Force, he was able to overwhelm his Master when he trained enough.

When he met his opponent, the lightsaber launched upward, toward his torso and leading to his head.

Kaji smiled,He liked this kind of duel the determination the other Jedi had it was great.Kaji tested him with his first attack,Which he knew would be countered even the force push.Kaji slid across the room using the ball of his foot to stable himself still on his feet.Kaji gave a weird smile lifiting his saber back above his head then twisted it down beside his right hip.

Kaji stood still and waited for a proper defense his opponent was fast and smart.Kaji did not lift his saber up as his opponent came up from his torso directed at kaji's head.Kaji Twisted his body around in a five and six direction from a martial arts class he took,He then swung his saber down onto his opponent.Kaji turned his body once again Same motion. This time kaji saw an attack but instead decided to backflip backwards and take the same stance resting his hilt on his hip.

This boy's flexibility was noted. Sebastian was actually quite impressed. His attack was direct and strong though had some openings yet the Padawan chose not to exploit them. "What form do you practice?" he asked as he fell back into a casual stance.

There was not real reason as to why he would ask this. His first assumption would be Ataru and then Makashi. Ataru for the jumping attack he performed first and Makashi because he did not directly block his attacks. He'd usually find out on his own but he wanted to mask his passivity with a question. He wanted not to attack again as he just did because he didn't want his openings to be so easily taken advantage. He needed to keep control of his movements and emotions during this battle.

Master Ayva didn't know of this duel while she conducted a few courses for other learners and met for some meetings while they were here. He decided to join someone for a neutral duel. Nothing to be learned or practiced. This was purely to test his own skill. He was very much adept in Soresu, almost as good as his Master, but Vapaad was proving to be very difficult.
