BIOGRAPHY

Coming from the planet Umbara, Kraaz was raised to be a part of the secretive and reclusive society that dwelled there. Once he was able, Kraaz enlisted for military duty and proved himself among the Umbaran Militia as a capable and ruthless soldier. He would eventually find his way to the counter-intelligence branch of the Umbaran military and continued to earn himself a name as a person who could get any mission accomplished. He had little idea that only a few years in his entire life would change.

Upon an encounter with the ruthless Mandalorian mercenaries of the Deathwatch Kraaz and his men were captured and tortured. Kraaz refused to break and looked at his captors with disdain. The Deathwatch cell leader, a woman by the name of Ibi Brost, changed tactics. She revealed the reason that she and her mercenaries were there. An Umbaran official was looking to sell a cache of Umbara’s advanced weapons on the black market, but needed military codes to gain access to them. Codes that this official knew that Kraaz and his men would likely have. He’d been sold out by his own people for money. On top of this Ibi would show that the Umbaran government had already burned Kraaz, he was as good as dead if he ever returned home. He resigned himself and decided to make a deal. If the mandalorians would take him offworld he’d give them the codes they needed. Ibi agreed.

The woman held up her end of the bargain and Kraaz was carried off of Umbara. He would travel with them to meet this Umbaran traitor and after the deathwatch had received their payment Kraaz would end the traitor with a thrown vibroknife Kraaz had hidden away. With the man who’d taken his home away now dead, Kraaz expected to be executed but Ibi couldn’t help but admire his pure tenacity in this situation and offered Kraaz a choice. Give the Mandalorian way a chance or be on his way. While Kraaz held some contempt toward these mercenaries he couldn’t deny he admired their work, so he decided to join their cell.

He would be a member of this Deathwatch cell for years and would become close and bond with those who would eventually become like brothers and sisters to him. Ibi would become even more to him as they would fall in love and marry. Kraaz became a true convert to the Mando way and his previous work as an intelligence agent and soldier served him well in his time in the Deathwatch, proving to be a perfect fit for the ruthless work they did.

The cell would remain independent until the call came to rejoin under Fenyang Ordo, the new Mandalore. Ibi was excited to join under the banner of a united Mandalore. Though Kraaz himself was hesitant to work with the Sith, he would follow his wife along with the rest of the cell to answer the new Mandalore’s call.

Proving themselves in the reestablished Deathwatch, Kraaz and Ibi’s squad would partake in several successful missions before disaster would fall. A batch of bad intel would lead the squad into an ambush, one that wiped out most of the squad, including Ibi. After barely escaping with the rest of his Squad Kraaz was devastated. His world taken away from him all over again he took time to grieve, laying Ibi’s Beskar’gam to rest. Afterword and to this day he remains ruthless as ever if not more so, without the love of his life to ground him. Time will tell if this will serve the Mando convert well…or spell disaster for him

Personality

A rather humorless man, Kraaz pursues his goals with a cold calculated efficiency. He expects the same of those around him, and looks down on those he sees as too jovial or non-professional. His upbringing on Umbara has led him to be naturally a bit paranoid, always keeping a close eye on those around him, at least non Mandalorians; who the Umbaran sees as his true people after his disillusionment with his own people.

Grudges are something that Kraaz tends to hold on to, paying back slights in kind. Though in the same ruthless cold manner. He’s a slow man to anger but once his ire rises it seethes beneath the surface waiting for the right moment to strike back with a biting comment or necessary violence.

Skills

Having trained as a soldier, intelligence officer, and then a member of Deathwatch, Kraaz is well trained in modern warfare tactics and skills. He’s also a proficient slicer, infiltrator, and is skilled in escape and evasion tactics.

He’s also a proficient pilot able to handle things up to medium freighters on his own.

DESCRIPTION
The DE-4 was custom built to meet the needs of the Tekkar family in their clandestine missions. The ship's design is meant to be low profile to limit view and angles of attack on the vessel. This in theory also allows the ship to get in and out of system unnoticed after certain individuals have been taken care of. The light armor and armaments allow the ship better maneuverability than ships of this class typically have allowing it to pursue most targets in. Folding s foils in the wings also allow for a lower profile while landing to fit into tighter spaces.

Inside is a spartan interior not much designed for comfort. A small crew quarter can comfortably house 3 average sized beings while a small brig houses 1 cell for prisoners if need be. Also able to hold a decent cargo compliment and with enough space to hold provisions for several months the DE-4 can stay out of system for prolonged hunts. Though the ship is admittedly not very useful as a dedicated cargo hauler by any means. Also the Tekkars found the ship to not be particularly useful in open battles, as it much better used for hit and run tactics.



LEGALITY
While eye catching if seen the ships light armament shouldn't draw the eye of local law outside of the most tightly policed worlds.

INTENT
Personal star ship of my character Mozu to better suit his assassin backstory.

Kraaz's Beskar'gam

Like every Mandalorian Kraaz's armor or Beskar'gam is custom made for him. It is made up of plates of duraplast with a titanium overlay. The only bits of the armor that are pure Beskar are the bracers due to the now relative lack of the alloy in the galaxy.

The armor also includes a few elements of his past having incorporated a few design elements from his Umbaran Militia armor, notably the small blue lighting elements and sleeker edges.

The armor plates now sport a gray finish in order to symbolize the loss of his love Ibi to honor her memory and is emblazoned with the symbol of the deathwatch in black on the left breastplate.


LEGALITY

Generally speaking yes. Only the most heavily policed systems would really give a second look at this armor.

Just to have a customized armor for my Mando Kraaz.

Functions



Function 1: Scatterweave

  • An incredibly rare and expensive material. Scatterweave is a coating that reflects very little light, making it extremely useful for sneaking at night. It also "scatters" the wearer's heat signature, making it difficult for automated sensor systems or thermal visors to get a precise fix on the wearer's location without intense scans.
Function 2: Vision Modes

  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.
Function 3: Concealed Blade (Left Bracer)

  • Concealed blades are typically 4-6 inches in length and lock into place once extended. They are almost always placed along the fore-arm or boot. They are no substitute for true combat knives as the locking mechanism can break under strong impacts. Still, some people enjoy them as a helpful backup.

Function 4: Wrist Projectile Launcher (Loaded with razor discs)

  • This forearm-mounted weapon can fire a variety of small non-explosive physical projectiles from it such as miniature buzzsaw discs, shurikens, or slugthrower slugs that deal Light damage with no other special properties other than potentially causing bleeding. This weapon has a maximum range of 17 meters and ammo capacity of 5 shots. Must be manually activated via button or other trigger. These weapons are mostly illegal in civilized space.

Function 5: JetBoots

  • Miniaturized jetpack technology, jetboots (also called "rocket boots") are essentially boots to which small jetpack thrusters have been attached. The wearer must activate/deactivate the thrusters modes via wrist-mounted controls. Like an average jetpack, jetboots permit a maximum speed of 35kph and can maintain this speed for two minutes of continuous flight (flight mode). In combat (mode), they can be used in short bursts to propel the wearer up to seven (7) meters. Jet boots are much smaller, lighter, and less vulnerable to attack and damage than jetpacks, but are also very difficult to utilize effectively, and wearers can be easily thrown off course.

BIOGRAPHY

Conflict and battle have been Brekis’ companions. Born on the harsh world of Kalee to parents in the Kolkpravis Brekis was raised with a fierce loyalty to his people. He would follow in his parent’s path becoming a member of the Kolkpravis himself, proving to be a brutal and effective defender of his homeworld.

After years of service under his parents, Brekis and his kadre were ambushed by slavers. His Kadre was completely overrun and Brekis faced death until he had a feeling. He chased that feeling and struck back at the slavers with a wave of telekinetic energy. It was at this moment that Brekis discovered he was force sensitive. Utilising this surprise, Brekis and his Kadre were able to push back the slavers. Not before his mother was killed and his father was taken, however. Brekis was enraged and though his superiors forbade him from pursuing his father Brekis would leave the Kolkpravis and seek the slavers.

During this time Brekis would seek to deepen his connection with the force and came to learn that in times of extreme stress and conflict were the times he felt the most connected to the force. He would fuel his abilities in this manner, falling deeper into the darkness. Once he found his father the slavers didn’t stand a chance against the now prepared Brekis. He would free his father but realised he could only look down on the man. If his father had been stronger, his mother would still live, Brekis would still be able to defend Kalee alongside them both. In his disgust he wouldn’t strike down his father but tell the man to find his own way out of the slaver compound, to prove his strength and regain his lost valor.

After leaving his father to an unknown fate, Brekis would seek to grow his own strength. He sought to learn more. He knew the only way was to seek those with greater strength and knowledge than himself. The Jedi he believed were deluded, though they didn’t preach the principles of peace they wasted time protecting others. Taking away others' own ability to grow and face hardships and conflict, denying others the ability to grow more powerful. The Sith though, they understood that the strong should rise, and that with strength, be it with arms, mind, or will; anything could be achieved. So he sought the whispered Sith Eternal.

After finding the answers he sought he was trained as the Sith themselves were changing into the current form of the Empire. As he learned he came to believe that the only true nature of the force was the Darkside. That the light was the actual corruption, the imbalance in the force. The jedi who followed it were in that regard not to be hated, but pitied. They couldn’t see that the force demanded that those with the ability to control its power require conflict and hardship to grow to continue forward; that this was even the nature of the galaxy itself, that peace led to stagnation. He saw the truth of this philosophy in his own journey, that the hardships he’d faced had turned him into a weapon of the true face of the force.

He would become a champion of the Sith Empire and seek to further their goals and bring the word of his belief in the force to those that would listen and show those that wouldn’t the truth of his words at the point of his lightsaber.

Personality

Brekis is a sheer force of personality. Ready to expound on his philosophy and views on the force with anyone who will listen and some who won’t. He is quite respectful however, being well spoken and eloquent in his delivery despite his rough upbringing though will not relent until you at least, understand his point of view. He learned early that one must be able to clearly state their position in order to persuade anyone so he can also act as a decent diplomat when called on. Also oddly patient, not judging those who do not have the gift of the force as lesser beings, only believing that they must find their own strength and hone it.

He spends his time also being a constant advocate for self improvement and conflict to to further one’s improvement. Seeing the Dark side as the true will of the Force and that followers of the Light side are not to be hated, but rather pitied for their lack of understanding of the true nature of the universe they reside in. He knows it’s his mission to educate them.

Skills

Brekis is an excellent duelist, his style being brutal assaults with his longer hilted lightsaber giving him greater leverage for power blows, and simple parries designed to put opponents off balance. He is fully trained in the use of the dark side of the force to anyone of champion strength.

He’s a decent pilot but it is by no means his focus.

Also able to act as a diplomat due to his calmer demeanor and well-spoken nature.

Brekis Rath's Sith Robes

The personal attire of Brekis Rath. A set of clothing that Brekis has put together himself, an outfit that very much denotes him as a sith but still pays homage to his heritage as a Kaleesh, in particular the wrappings around his arms and legs and the traditional Erkush mask to cover his face.

It's only lightly armored, that being mostly his arms (with "reclaimed" phrik vambracers and armored pauldrons) and a reinforcement to his Erkush mask that was made back in his Kolkpravis days.


LEGALITY

Perfectly legal, can't think of any reason anyone would give this a second glance.

INTENT

Giving some more flavor to my Sith and wanted to provide a basic reference for his attire.

Function 1: Armorweave Accessory (Hooded Cloak)

  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
Function 2: Scout Hud (Integrated into Erkush mask)

  • Scout HUD - Contains a 4x magnifier and Compass.
