Hey Chiss and SWRPers in general,
As the Ascendancy's second-in-command, I'm going to take some time to field a few questions and concerns that have come up recently. First and foremost, I'm sure people are wondering what's going on with our faction. Let me be blunt- so far this timeline, we've had minimal activity, with minimal interest in our organization. As far as I'm aware we've only had one conflict and a handful of training threads, which is a bad start.
Let it be known that the leadership accepts part of the blame for this, but not the entirety. Although we failed to give the faction a direction, post missions, and create weapons threads, this is not our responsibility alone. Not once has a member offered a suggestion for the Chiss in any capacity- until recently, I had not had a single member of the Ascendancy contact me at all. That being said, I openly apologize for not getting us started properly.
Now it's on to answering your questions and giving some much needed direction to our faction.
We have no specific goal at this stage except to further our political position. Formally we only have non-aggression pacts with both major players of the war (the Galactic Alliance and the Empire), and are on slightly better terms with the Sith. We are at open war with the Mandalorians.
Our immediate goal should be to grow our value in galactic affairs. We need to prove that we're not just an outside player and create an atmosphere where the Alliance and Sith fight for our allegiance. Although at this stage we don't have the manpower to overthrow either major side, we can influence the outcome.
Go out and represent the Ascendancy. Show that we're fearless, powerful, and a real presence. Show up at meetings, help decide what happens with other factions. Recruit, recruit, recruit. Combat missions are great- these, however, you have to clear with the leadership. Intelligence missions are more than welcome.

Whatever you want. Military wise we have more than enough- lots of soldiers, ships, and weapons. Now, we need to make allies and get in a better position.Go out and represent the Ascendancy. We don't really need them, either, because they don't get used. The Hutt Empire had an abundance of data that our members didn't really utilize- if a need arises for any of the write ups then we'll gladly write them.
