Xath left his lighstaber in the man's chest for a split second before ripping it out cruelly. He gave a final gasp and sank to the ground, along with his three friends. "Fools..." They'd wanted to take the little money he had, so he took their lives. The dark, empty alleyway was lit by his lightsaber for a moment longer before even that disappeared into the black. No witnesses, no complications, no nothing...absolute darkness. Just the way he liked it.

He hid his saber expertly within his robes, touching his backup just to make sure it was there.
He walked down the alley, taking a view back routes until he came to a main road. He didn't want to make a seen, but then again, if he found one more criminal trying to take what was his...

Probably wasn't wise to be walking around in his Sith attire, but then again, who was going to say anything? Bartender? Jedi? Sector Ranger? His kind was no longer a secret, much to his dismay, but he'd have to live with that reality. He didn't have a care in the world; if someone accosted him in a way he didn't like, he'd slit there throats...might be best to use a vibroblade, however, at least for now.

She wasn't really a fan of the Hutts, and being the heart of their operations Nar Shaddaa held no soft spot in her heart. But dislike the it as she might, there was no denying that the employment opportunities on Nar Shaddaa could be matched by few worlds. Not just the chance of getting hired by someone, but randomly running into bounties that she could take in to claim some credits and ensure she was able to eat for a few more days.

At least that was the justification she gave herself for sticking around on the planet, though for the past few days work had been hard to come across. She wasn't close to starving just yet, but if she didn't get something soon then she would have to begin considering pawning off her gear to get some credits.

But fate seemed to be smiling on her today, because as she was walking down a street a figure caught her eye. One of the earliest things she had learnt when she began working as a bounty hunter was to notice things, to always be on the lookout. But this though, had she been the most oblivious woman in the world she would have noticed the figure that walked by. A man, dressed all in black, sporting a mask that made her question his fashion sense, and an overall appearance that immediately made her mind go to one things, and one thing alone. Something that had been all over the holonet lately. The Red Sabers, wanted by Jedi, Sector Rangers, and Hutts alike.

The man fit the bill perfectly, and with nothing better to do and lacking the freedom to let a potential catch like this slip away, she turned around and discreetly began walking after the man. If he was one then she was could wish her money problems goodbye, if not then it wasn't like she had anything better to do. So she kept pace behind him, about a dozen feet from him, close enough to not lose track of him but with enough distance to react if things got wild. Her right hand was resting on the blaster sitting at her right hip, her trusty DL-44, ready to be drawn at a moment's notice.

"Alright friend," she muttered softly to herself, "what are you up to?"

The Mandalorian stalked the streets of Nar Shaddaa. She was after a bounty hidden on the world, a scientist gone rogue, and she like a hound dog, she hunted for whatever information she could find. Rumors and whispers of where she might find them. She was armed well, and in place of her computer spike, which she thought irrelevant for the hunt, Song sported a repulsor. An effective means to maintain her private bubble.

She continued down the avenue, disgruntled with every suspicious glare she received from the occasional bystander.

It was Nar Shaddaa. What did they expect? She might’ve been a Mandalorian, but she was a bounty hunter, and that was nothing new to the likes of a criminal underworld. Still, best she could do was grin and bear it. All she had to do was track down her bounty, in accordance to the Guild, and take him in. Easy reward.

However, things were about to take a complicated turn.

Literally. Song turned to catch a strange man, masked and dressed head to toe in black, being clearly followed by a woman. A confrontation? Pickpocket in the works? She wasn’t sure. What she was sure of was that, if the man was who she thought he was, then it was better not to lose sight of him. Instead, Song slowed down until she stopped by a vendor in the main road.

Twenty paces away.

The Rodian at the stall barked like any other peddler did, but she ignored him. Her eyes were on the possible thief and the possible terrorist. As for her hands? Inches over her blaster.

Preef was frowning at his aunt, "Stop yelling at the Mandalorian!" he suddenly cried with indignation, "He can't eat your noodles when he's always wearing that helmet!" Kriffing kark, aunt Mela was thick sometimes. "What's he doing stopping at my stall then!?" the aunt shouted back, which prompted Preef to throw up his arms and walk away, "Crazy Mela I've had enough!"

It took Preef way too long to recognize the Sith as a Sith and then make the connection with Durr's open bounty. Five thousand credits was worth a whole heap of good stuff, maybe even an apartment upgrade or that speeder he'd been eyeing. No, not the speeder. He doesn't have the space in his crappy apartment. By the time it truly dawned on Preef he was all but physically blocking the apparent Sith, "Hey! Watch it Doofus!" the rodian knew it was his fault, but he wasn't about to admit that here on the Smuggler's Moon. This was Five Syndicates territory, not ranger-executing-do-they-even-have-a-home territory. "You trying to get your sabers yanked?" It was out before he really oversaw the implications of calling out a super dangerous wanted man in the middle of a crowded street. "When I was still picking pockets you and your-" he paused as he positioned himself right in front of the Sith again, "-Corellia-executioner outfit. You'd be making my week!" he suddenly snorted with laughter as he found his own joke -was it a joke?- hilarious.

Now, this wouldn't be the first time Preef had mistaken some edgy human for a Sith, stunned him and searched him in vain for those red-colored swords. This was the first Nagai, though, and like most alien species he was convinced that all the bad in the world came from humans, so if he hadn't almost stumbled into this one he'd probably have simply walked passed. Maybe he's just a fan of yellow-eyed humans killing natural-eyecolor humans?

Song had tuned out the vendor as she continued insisting to buy her noodles, but listened in to a new voice, who closed the Rodian up real quick. The Mandalorian raised her brow, and though she was much more interested in the prize the Sith posed, she found the conversation behind her twice as entertaining. What really caught her eye, however, was the peddler’s "friend" storming off. Right into the masked man.

She cursed under her breath in Mando’a. He was going to die. Or worse, capture the Sith before she could. At least, if she could call him a Sith. She still had no idea just what she was dealing with.

Song glanced over her shoulder and back to the vendor. “Your friend’s going to get himself killed.

And?” The old peddler grunted, upset. “Are you going to buy noodles or what?

The Mandalorian blinked. “And I thought I was cold,” she murmured, before walking away from the stand.

Her best bet now was to risk an even closer confrontation, using the Rodian as her main distraction. Although it would be hard to blend in with the crowd of the main street, she did her best. In a matter of seconds, Song would have closed the space between her and the man by half.

Her hand had since left the blaster, this time in favor of the repulsor on her wrist. If something bad were to happen, if a lightsaber really was pulled into the open, she’d be ready for it. Hopefully.

Xath sighed as he felt tension rising around him, fully focused on the force before he was rudely bumped by a Rodian. He knew what that meant (He hated pickpockets), but reacted in the stupidest way he could think of.

He reached into his robes just to ensure his sabers were still present, most likely telling the alien exactly what he wanted. Nevertheless, he crossed his arms so he could feel the cold, hard metal through his robes if the Rodian tried anything.
"Ah, yes...We have a very edgy style, us executioners." He laughed sarcastically. "Probably not the best style, I must say, given recent events in the galaxy."

He glanced sideways, noticing the vender still yelling at...Was that a Mandalorian? A, hell, what an idiot he was. They all knew. He had to get out of the main route.
She started heading towards him and he snapped his head back towards the Rodian.

"Anyways, I've got a..." He coughed in his raspy voice, not even knowing if the Alien understood. "I've got an execution to go to." He shook his head and began moving away from the Rodian, towards a path that branched off from the hundreds of people making their way on that road.

Nar Shaddah. It was not the most clean of places but then again not every place that is the hub of dirty secrets is. Argyle didn't mind though, he had seen worse streets in the deepest bowels of Corsucant and the areas here were like a child's playground. He kept his hood up, but in case he had to take it down made it a point to wear more spartan clothing so as to not draw attention. He tapped on the DL-44 he kept near him. Compared to him it was like a blaster carbine but he could still hold it in his small hands. He kept moving through the streets as quietly as possible, though to be honest he wasn't skulking through the streets for shits and giggles. He was there hunting for his favorite prey: Information...knowledge...secrets...The Shadier the better, and Nar Shaddah was a haven for secrets and their brokers...

He had stepped out of the streets towards a Noodle stand when he noticed the Mandalorian and the man at the stand. He felt a presence in the Force but not where. He began to focus, just as the man in front of the Mandalorian began to turn away from the stand. He let out a gentle ripple in the Force, seeing who was there...

Nar Shadda was Adenns kind of planet, it smelled like credits, booze and tabac... He'd begun to change however in recent months, his love of booze seemed to wane and he seemed to have less free time than before... still he'd managed to ditch L'ewvan for the night, who'd prefer to play with Jang and Pre on the Spooky and watch horror holovids than go out for a night of Drinking and Gambling. And that was enough for Adenn! Who'd pretty much given the ol' heave ho once they touched down in the hangar. His first trip would be towards the arms market, to buy a few new arms for him and L'ewvan. Walking down the street he saw a funny sight, a short man in a little black hood. He would laugh but given his luck itd be a drunk nobleman... no no, instead he just walked on by, paying the small imp no mind.

Kholvar had been spending more time on Nar Shaddaa lately. His lack of interest in pursuing his gifts had started with Melkor had vanished, and swung into full force when he'd realized anyone else he'd ever met within the Sith Eternal were stupid, mostly useless, and entirely insignificant. Oh well, at least he hadn't been foolish enough to walk around with his identity in full view - which allowed the Trianii to return to his previous life of criminality with the Hutts.

He'd been eyeing the noodle stand for a bit after having purchased his own bowl and scarfing it down greedily. The scene that was unfolding before him came as a relative surprise, but not an unwelcome one. It appeared that his initial assessment of the ineptitude of Sith was not unfounded. Hilarious.

The most obvious looking one seemed to be trying to walk away, something that probably just wasn't going to happen. You don't come to Nar Shaddaa looking like that an expect to not get hassled. Pushing off from the wall he'd been leaning on, Kholvar began to follow Xath. He ignored most of the others that were around, except for the dwarf. You didn't see those every day. Khovlar wondered if he'd be able to fit the whole being into his mouth at once, and then realized he probably only thought that because he was still hungry. Perhaps he should have gotten more noodles.

Regardless, Kholvar's attention was on the man in the ugly robes. His instincts were telling him it would probably be worth following him. If he were to be so lucky and the man was carrying lightsabers, he'd be in for a decent payday. Of course, there were others around that might think the same thing.

Kholvar wasn't above killing them too if for some reason they acquired what he sought out first.

The Nagai gave an odd reply that somehow startled the young rodian, "Eh-" he stammered, "-not my execution, though, right??" he then laughed nervously before looking around and recognized the large Trianii obviously stalking the his prey and a few more eager onlookers...

Preef quickly realized that he was outgunned here and as he wasn't sure how many of the hunters were grouped together he chose the safest option and disengaged from the suspected Sith. "Was off to a bar anyway," he said as he stepped back and allowed passerbys to pass between him and the suspicious Nagai as he distanced himself further from the soon-to-be hostile situation. Preef wasn't the smartest rodian on the block -that title went to his aunt- but he sure as hell knew when not to be bothered with aliens twice his size. Even Kholvar, who he had regarded as his friend, wasn't someone he could trust to not rip his throat out now, fearing that something on one the Trianii's offmoon adventures had significantly changed the bearcat for the worse.

Clearly disengaged now to all onlookers, Preef simply waited for the group to pass. He had his hand resting on his blaster and was fully alert in case he someone still became a target against his clear wishes, because on the Smuggler's Moon, just like with catching STD's, you never did know who decided to blast you in the back of the head.

Seemed like Song wasn’t alone in her approach to the "Sith."

Although the Rodian had backed off, clearly disengaged from the masked man, she could tell he was alert, with his hand relaxed against his blaster. Out of the corner of her eye, the Mandalorian spotted the six-and-a-half foot stranger eyeing the robed man too. Along with the other woman, presumably still ten paces behind the man, Song knew that if she made a move, all of them would too.

She had come to Nar Shaddaa for a different bounty. Not for a dog-pile on a random man who could or could not be a masked terrorist.

Her hand fell away from her wrist-mounted repulsor and back to her holster. She kept an eye on all travelers, at least the more noticeable ones, and continued on seemingly oblivious. The crowd carried her away, an armored rock in a river of bodies, until she took a detour on a different avenue. Without the man, without the credit-starved bounty hunters.

If anyone followed her, she'd know.

Song had something else on her mind. Something that didn't involve a subtle, and not so subtle, standoff that might last into the next week, and leave her flat on the city streets. Last thing she wanted was to meet her end on the Smuggler's Moon, fighting over a lightsaber that might not even exist.

Exiting thread~

Xath shrugged at the Rodian's response. He liked watching people squirm. He was beginning to sense apprehension growing, just hints of it. He took that to mean that more than one or two people were eyeing him. Were he to have to defend himself, his sabers would be his best choice...and that was most likely out of the question in such a busy place.

He shook his head to clear it; even with the Eternal becoming more and more prevalent, he most likely would refrain from every wearing such an outfit so openly in public. He glanced around him, noticing a couple different suspicious characters, but how would he know who was after him?

He quickened his pace, wanting to get out as quickly as possible. He didn't want this to end in a sword fight, but if that's what it would take...He fingered his sabers through his robes. He had no problem with killing, but he certainly didn't want to die. He made it to the cross section where the main route hit a side path and took it. He stared straight ahead; whoever followed him followed him, and they'd pay the consequences if they attempted to stop him in any way.

Argyle felt a disturbance in the Force, turning to see a gentlemen whisking away from the noodle shop. He stared at the man for a moment before his curiosity took the better of him. He watched as a larger man eyed him and the moving cloaked man before he ducked out of sight the moment the larger man took his eyes off of him. He began to move through the streets, oddly fast for a dwarf. He kept to himself as he bobbed and weaved, staying in shadow as he began searching for the gentlemen. He ducked into another alley and into shadow...
