I know that the timeline shift is coming very soon and I was wondering if I should wait to make a character until the timeline changes or not.

That's completely up to you, bud. Everyone's sort of in this limbo state of "idc; waiting on the next timeline", which happens in every forum when a major change happens. If you're asking if people are roleplaying still - eh, sure? Not anywhere near what the forum activity is usually like, but again that's to expected - we're expecting the next timeline skip, so this story is just about done - therefore most people don't bother writing anymore.

Most of the threads up right now are primarily testing grounds for the next timeline in a way, or just seeing what they can do within this time frame. If you're asking for a personal opinion though - I'd say just wait to the next timeline, work on your character for the next timeline, tweak it and perfect it. Though I suppose maybe try out the character you have in mind, right now in this timeline, for next timeline and try and get some writing friends for the next timeline too.

Solid advice. Thanks for answering my question here.

Timelines.

But if you ever need anybody to write with, let me know, I'm always willing to write.
