Novus rolled his eyes. How brainless could other humans be?!

He spun around to face Dal. "You can go kill those lizards if you want- but stupidity's not a crime, so I can't convict them... or you. Now, as for the vents, I thought you would have caught on by now. You must have been drugged- you shouldn't be this slow. I hope you realize that there's an Ospion Guardian in front of you. And keep in mind that, if someone is intelligent- this is probably why you've had no success in vents- they can easily sneak noiselessly and quickly through vents."

Novus sniffed the air offensively. "Actually, you probably shouldn't come into the vents either way. Unwashed armpits tend to give one away..."

The young Ospion popped his neck, and motioned to Hakim as he leapt into the vent in the ceiling, then let his hand hang to help the Cathar up- not everyone's Force Sensitive.

((OOC/ Not trying to be rude to you DR, just Novus is very vindictive and mean to those who criticize him.. He's fairly childish in terms of quarrels))

((By the way, none of you know my name yet))

Temis gave an irritated sigh as the other's were arguing.

"He's right actually, we can't all go through the vents. Plus I don't know if the Cathar will be able to fit into the vents, it was barley big enough for me and I'm rather thin. I propose that myself and the Cathar travel through the complex itself and you too take the vents."

Temis glared at them all, daring one of them to dispute him. The deadly glint in his eyes confirmed that he had years of experience doing covert assassinations, and this was very similar.

Dal's fist clenched tightly as he restrained himself from smashing Novus' jaw. Usually a man who insulted him winded up coughing up massive amounts of blood a few moments later, but Dal reminded himself that a team had a better chance at survival than a single man alone. He didn't even know where he was. "I don't know if I mentioned this, but I'm Dal Lothian, former commander and soldier. I very much doubt a young man such as yourself is truly as wise as you pretend whether you are a Jedi or not. And who are you anyways?" Dal flitted his speech towards Temis in his last few words. He made no motion to move into the vents. Not yet.

Temis gave a hefty sight, "If it will shut the three of you up I am Temis Iretne, member of one of the most elite assassin guilds in the galaxy. I have been hunting and killing hard targets since you were in diapers," He stared pointedly at Novus with that, "After this I want you to forget my name because none of you have the money to hire me. Now, are you going to do as I ask or not? Because I don't have time for this. There are people that need to be killed."

With that Temis pulled the hood of his black cloak up over his head. That was probably one of the longest speeches he had ever made, but these imeciles were getting on his nerves.....

A cursiously guarded look came over Dal's face. As a soldier and a man who survived the detonation of a grenade activated right under him, Dal wasn't exactly the most trusting type. An assassin? He would rather work for the bloody hutts than a flaming assassin. His slightly graying hair speckled with brown and blonde flipped slightly as he stood up straighter. His spine was soldier stiff as he looked down upon Temis. He would have to be more careful in the future with what he said in puplic. But for now they were all allies. It was enough to force a short burst of harsh laughter out of his wearied face. He took a step forward that touched with a metallic clink.

"Very well now. I don't emjoy the prospect of working with an assassin, a smuggler and a pompous self esteemed Jedi, but circumstances force even the most polarly disjuncted people together. So, Jedi, you and me will be working together to free this girl of the big brown cat? Temis and browny can stalk the halls like miscreants and criminals while we take to the vents. Up to helping me up there? Not everyone around here flaunts Force sensitivity." Dal said wryly, looking up to where Novus had stationed himself in the ventalation system.

Novus growled silently to the hunter, "I am not an arrogant, pompus Jedi. I am an Ospion Guardian. Not a Jedi ass."

He then looked down at Dal, holding out one thin, but muscled, arm. "Sure. Fine. Whatever. Now get up here so we can get on with this. I'm enjoying rotting in this prison about as much as you are."

Temis turned to him angrily, "All force users are the same, pompus, overblown, and high and mighty in their supposed intelligence. You expect me to respect you because you can open a can with your mind? I have killed many force users, boy," Temis spat out the last word, "Most of them were more then you will ever be."

Temis growled in the back of his throat and motioned to the Cathar, "Let's go."

With a slight shrug Dal glanced around. The vent was too high for him to jump up to alone, but if Novus caught his arm and pulled him up enough to grab onto the frame then he would be able to pull himself up with his cybernetic limbs. "Help me up," He said, jumping his full height and more, arms upraised.

While the trio of humans were slinging barbs and trading stupid ideas with one another, Hakim busied himself at the weapons rack, rummaging through the boxes and crates for one thing he currently desired most: Shoes. He met with failure, but, he did find a medikit, and so he liberated a roll of tan-colored gauze from the kit, and promptly proceeded to carefully wrap his feet and ankles with the stuff in the manner of a martial artist, to give his feet some minimal protection. It was better than going completely barefoot, after all, and at least the stuff wouldn't make any noise as he walked.

By the time he was finished, he had heard some interesting things. First, he had a new nickname. 'Browny'. Now, he liked brownies. He liked 'em a lot, especially with a good glass of milk. And now because of that random line of thinking, he couldn't help but picture himself as a big-ass walking brownie, toting an assault rifle and creeping through corridors. Unsurprisingly, the mental image of that caused a grin to appear on his face and a chuckle to escape his lips, just a few moments before the man identified as 'Temis' motioned 'let's go' to him.

Without hesitation, the smuggler nodded once, then hopped back to his feet and fell in behind Temis, ready to follow the assassin's lead... So long as following the man's lead would enable him to rescue Faan'tina.

Novus caught the other man's hand hefting him up enough so he could grab onto the floor of the vent and climb in. He glared at the bit of the Underworld Slime he could see, and muttered "Filthy braggart," under his breath. The so-called assassin had only demonstrated so far that he couldn't beat an "arrogant, overblown, and high-and-mighty force user." What a joke.

"Alright, now the trick to climbing in vents is to keep your feet in the corners, and shuffle. It takes a while to master, but then you're almost undetectable. Throw in the fact that Hakim and the braggart are going to end up distracting the guards due to their method of transit, and we won't get shot at... Well, unless Tarkar'un hears us. That man is a nightmare. White mowhawk, huge black warhammer- avoid him if you can. When we come across him, let me take care of him."
