Volunteers were needed to help with investigations out in Naboo. There seemed to be a large pull from a majority of precincts as they dive into the investigations for finding the terrorists responsible for the horrendous holonet broadcast. Thalia would have loved to get into the action to help, but the picks went to more senior members of the Rangers. However, there was one assignment that took her out to Naboo, where Thalia thought it was an odd place to even be permanently assigned, but there was one, Ranger Duke Winters, who seemed to be working non-stop to keep Naboo from falling victim of crime rings in neighboring systems. Thalia had gone to Naboo once or twice prior, and as she thought about her own time with criminal rings, Naboo was the ideal location for hiding assets and if it wasn't the criminal underworld, it was certainly the corruption that credits favored in the government circles.
The rookie Ranger took a shuttle across the galaxy; it was a rather long trip, one that she did not recall it was supposed to be long, there was no rerouting of coordinates, and Thalia passed it off as her own impatience. She did though take the time to write, finding familiarity in her journal as she turned her own badge in her palm. She had not had time to just process her thoughts and feelings; training at the academy left her with little time to revisit anything she had learned about herself and continue to learn ever since she worked with Knight Tionson. Mentally she noted she should reach out to him, his guidance even if she did not think she needed it, was always of a big help.
When the shuttle had landed, Thalia made her way immediately to the Ranger's headquarters for briefing and hopefully straight into the assignment.
