Ender stood there like a statue, his hand still wielding the force as it constricted around Kai's throat. The lightning and push successfully left his fingers but they would quickly disappear afterward as the man would be unconscious by that point. Kai remained in the air for a few moments until he would finally be able to confirm that his opponent was done resisting. When it was obvious he wouldn't wake up again, Ender dropped the arm that was choking Kai and instead left him suspended in the air in the middle of the hallway.

The Sith walked over to the unconscious man and stopped only a few feet away from and stared up. Kai had his respect for keeping the Knights alive but with the kick he tried to utilize, it didn't sit well with Ender. "You should have run when you had the chance." Raising his hand once more, the helmet around Kai's head would start to rattle before it would finally slip off and land right in his fingers. "This is no longer deserved." Kai had been removed from his seat of power as a Knight, the mask was no longer his to wear. With a quick slash, the helmet would be sliced down the middle and cut in half with the edges burning a bright orange. Both of the pieces would fall to the ground with a light thud before being kicked apart.

Ender turned around afterward and walked back towards the room with the long table, the maskless body of Kai floating behind him in the air as it followed. He would walk past the Sith that had watched the combat, not saying a word or even looking at them. The body would be dropped onto the middle of the table and rattle the entire thing for a moment. All of the chairs that been knocked down by the push earlier would slowly raise by an invisible hand and be neatly pushed in.

When Ender arrived at the head of the long table, he dusted off the part of his leg where the only strike was landed against him before sitting down and leaning back against the spine of the chair. His eyes still shone a bright gold and he opened his hand as he gestured to the table, "Everyone, please take a seat." A meeting had been called and Kai was the first order of business. With that handled, for now, it meant that the meeting would continue from that point on without interruptions.

The fight had gone as Kotor had expected. Kai had been defeated by the one that hadn't been focused on irrelevant pursuits on irrelevant worlds. The victor had made a name for himself that stood far above that of the Knights of Ren and it was an honor to know that a man such as he would follow the shadow as they did. It took a few moments for the Serreno-born human to join Ender at the long table, being the first to do so and thus sitting himself down to their new leader's right.

Once again the Knights of Ren had changed leadership and while Kotor had not shown up to Kai's proclamation, today he had and he would no doubt soon hear how Ender would try and reform them in his image. Kai's vision had been too different to their core principles and too focused on worldy affairs. That had collided instantly with the shadow they served and the shadow had send Ender to remove Kai.

But who would be strong enough to remove Ender? Kotor's obedience came from the simple fact that he knew he wasn't.

As Balal looked on and watched the poser's defeat, there was no surprise. He watched the bloody show with an expression of as void of emotion or concern as the helmet that covered his face. Balal was one of the few who answered Kai's call, and the only one to openly question the man's rise to power. The man did not follow the Ren, not truly. Deep down Balal could sense it.

The fight done, Kai lay near death like a slab of meat to be feasted on by the predators that now surrounded him. Balal felt as he did on Corillia. It was a message. This man, this Ender was the leadership the knights needed now. The Ren chose him. That was Balal's belief anyway. And in that belief he could be loyal to such a leader. He finally joined Ender and the others. Taking a seat in a chair on the new leader's left side.
