Netflix's A Series Of Unfortunate Events

Netflix have finally released the long awaited series, and I have to say... it takes my back to my elementary/middle school days. I remember reading these books when I was a kid, mostly because they were about kids worse off than me. I remember most people being turned off by the dark story, and I also remember the time when my town's local church tried to have them removed from the shelves. Tell me... what memories do you have with Lemony Snicket's book series!

Watched the first episode before work today. It's a ton of fun. 20 minutes into the first episode I was hooked.

I like it. First episode was weak I think, but as the series progresses the characters have grown on me a lot.

I watched a few minutes of it. I am not sure I am supposed to find certain aspects of it funny and it makes me uncomfortable cause I find lots of reasons to laugh. >.>

There's definitely a certain level of absurdity to the series as a whole that can lend itself to some laughs.

Haven't watched the show yet but I was a crazy fan of the books when I was younger. NPH is enough reason to watch anything, though. Lol

It started out weird, got to be weirdly funny and then just flat out funny. Watched the last episode of the season and can't wait for the next TWO because I sure need more of this fix in my life.

Did anyone notice Darth Vader in the show?
