The Governor's expression contorted into one of concentration and contemplation as Kori read through the ships logs, her eyes narrowing as she nodded with the read out being presented to her. Sabotage was a prominent and reoccuring word amongst the logs, which would explain why the ship had remained more or less intact and fully loaded. What did cause a notable pique in her interest was the mention of Imperial Property, and the attempt to jettison it. Things were starting to add up, however as the picture did start to become clearer, another mystery was still unfolding - more notably what was the said property that the crew or even the saboteurs attempted to jettison?
Perhaps the more current of their situation was the indication that the life support systems had finally been restored, looking down to the wrist controls of her EV suit, Alyse double checked and confirmed the read out for the surrounding atmosphere to confirm that what the ships logs were stating was true. Satisfied with the confirmation, the blonde unfastened the clasps of her gloves with a light hiss as the pressure difference between the suit and the internal atmosphere normalised. With the gloves removed, the Governor proceeded to remove the helmet, and then the cumbersome suit and mag boots. Taking a deep breath of the 'fresh' air, Alyse took a look around the bridge, before moving closer to the console as her partner started to remove her own EV suit.
Cycling through the ships log the Governor scrolled back through to the mention of the cargo, and with a few key presses was able to further interrogate the log entry. ##Jettison Sequence incomplete, loading crane in Secure aft hold non functional## Pursing her lips, the ashen blonde turned to look at the Zeltron. "What ever they tried to jettison, remained onboard" Alyse commented, as she reached over to her EV suit to fish out her lightsaber hilt out of one of the utility pouches. "We better investigate what this Imperial Property was" she added with a slight grin, indulging her curiosity more than anything - from what she had learnt from Imperial operating protocols from Foley, was that often items of sensitive or high strategic importance would be jettisoned should a ship's security be at risk of being compromised.
Gesturing for the doors to the Transit car, Alyse lead the pair back into the carriage before selecting their destination. And within a short instant the transit system was swiftly accelerating the two towards their destination, with the secure hold not being too far off from where the bridge was located the journey was relatively short. Allowing the two just a few moments to gather themselves and get accustomed to not being weighted down by their bulky EV suits.
The doors to the hold slid open, revealing a scene that betrayed the still calm of the rest of the ship, the walls were lined with carbon scorch marks from blaster fire, towards the centre of the room lay a large cargo crate strewn partially on its side with a severely damaged gantry crane laying on the floor beside it. It was clear that what ever had happened aboard the ship, this hold must of been on of the main focal points. Pursing her lips in thought the governor looked over to Kori for a moment, before nodding to her partner's weapon. "Be ready just incase" Alyse commented, before stepping towards the container. Seeing that the locks and the crate's doors were bucked there was no other way to get into it than to rip the metal appart.
Reaching out with both hands the Ashen blonde channelled the Force through her, extending the currents like darkened tendrils of energy towards the buckled metal and tightening their hold around the material as the blonde clenched her hands. With a sudden an violent outward jerk of her arms, and an ear-piercing screech the door panels to the metal container was torn open. The high beam lighting of the cargo bay seeped into the now open container, revealing darkened silhouettes of black armoured figures approximately ten or so from what could be seen. Cautiously the Governor edged closer towards the crate to get a better look, only to stop in her tracks as red photoreceptors started to glow into life.
