The Governor's expression contorted into one of concentration and contemplation as Kori read through the ships logs, her eyes narrowing as she nodded with the read out being presented to her. Sabotage was a prominent and reoccuring word amongst the logs, which would explain why the ship had remained more or less intact and fully loaded. What did cause a notable pique in her interest was the mention of Imperial Property, and the attempt to jettison it. Things were starting to add up, however as the picture did start to become clearer, another mystery was still unfolding - more notably what was the said property that the crew or even the saboteurs attempted to jettison?

Perhaps the more current of their situation was the indication that the life support systems had finally been restored, looking down to the wrist controls of her EV suit, Alyse double checked and confirmed the read out for the surrounding atmosphere to confirm that what the ships logs were stating was true. Satisfied with the confirmation, the blonde unfastened the clasps of her gloves with a light hiss as the pressure difference between the suit and the internal atmosphere normalised. With the gloves removed, the Governor proceeded to remove the helmet, and then the cumbersome suit and mag boots. Taking a deep breath of the 'fresh' air, Alyse took a look around the bridge, before moving closer to the console as her partner started to remove her own EV suit.

Cycling through the ships log the Governor scrolled back through to the mention of the cargo, and with a few key presses was able to further interrogate the log entry. ##Jettison Sequence incomplete, loading crane in Secure aft hold non functional## Pursing her lips, the ashen blonde turned to look at the Zeltron. "What ever they tried to jettison, remained onboard" Alyse commented, as she reached over to her EV suit to fish out her lightsaber hilt out of one of the utility pouches. "We better investigate what this Imperial Property was" she added with a slight grin, indulging her curiosity more than anything - from what she had learnt from Imperial operating protocols from Foley, was that often items of sensitive or high strategic importance would be jettisoned should a ship's security be at risk of being compromised.

Gesturing for the doors to the Transit car, Alyse lead the pair back into the carriage before selecting their destination. And within a short instant the transit system was swiftly accelerating the two towards their destination, with the secure hold not being too far off from where the bridge was located the journey was relatively short. Allowing the two just a few moments to gather themselves and get accustomed to not being weighted down by their bulky EV suits.

The doors to the hold slid open, revealing a scene that betrayed the still calm of the rest of the ship, the walls were lined with carbon scorch marks from blaster fire, towards the centre of the room lay a large cargo crate strewn partially on its side with a severely damaged gantry crane laying on the floor beside it. It was clear that what ever had happened aboard the ship, this hold must of been on of the main focal points. Pursing her lips in thought the governor looked over to Kori for a moment, before nodding to her partner's weapon. "Be ready just incase" Alyse commented, before stepping towards the container. Seeing that the locks and the crate's doors were bucked there was no other way to get into it than to rip the metal appart.

Reaching out with both hands the Ashen blonde channelled the Force through her, extending the currents like darkened tendrils of energy towards the buckled metal and tightening their hold around the material as the blonde clenched her hands. With a sudden an violent outward jerk of her arms, and an ear-piercing screech the door panels to the metal container was torn open. The high beam lighting of the cargo bay seeped into the now open container, revealing darkened silhouettes of black armoured figures approximately ten or so from what could be seen. Cautiously the Governor edged closer towards the crate to get a better look, only to stop in her tracks as red photoreceptors started to glow into life.

As much as Nykoria hated the heavy and cumbersome EV suits, it didn't feel right to remove them. Let alone leave them on a derelict ship where Force-knows-what had happened. Wariness was in the newly-refilled air. But the Governor's confidence shared by the two won out in the end. As Alyse headed off to inspect the console further, Kori was reluctantly getting out of her suit.

After walking around the derelict for so long, it felt strange to finally feel the fresh and somewhat chilly air. The life support system averted the need for coats, but only just. Kori cast one last worried glance at her suit as her companion retrieved the lightsaber. On the bright side, they could finally talk normally. "Yeah, if you say so," Kori replied with some hesitation to Alyse's offer of investigating the mysterious cargo. The hesitation, however, slowly eroded as the Zeltron let Alyse's curiosity flow through her. The bad feeling remained but a tinge, as the Zeltron summoned the DL-18 into one hand and a glowrod into the other before the duo left the bridge.

What they saw at the destination only confirmed Kori's suspicions. Signs of a shootout; a wrecked gantry; an almost overturned container, that someone had clearly tried to keep that way. And of course, her companion wouldn't be Alyse Ti'Varnus if she didn't get to the bottom of this. The warning made Kori point the blaster towards the container door, glowrod held in parallel and aimied at whatever might come out of it. The Darkness building up in Alyse didn't make Kori flinch; for she had already accustomed herself to warding it off. What did make her flinch was the screech and the thud echoing through the room.

One by one, the bulky black silhouettes inside the container came to life: their red photoreceptors glowing for the first time in decades, and the joint screeching as their arms were leveling at the blonde and her companion: "Possible saboteurs detected..."

Kori shot first, without giving the machine the time to finish. The red heated bolt of plasma screamed straight to the first droid's head, melting the metal and leaving the burning orange trace on the armor... but not having any effect other than that. Almost momentarily, the droid returned fire, and Alyse would feel a sharp surge of burning pain in her right arm... despite the bolt not making contact with her. The Zeltron's scream and a thud of a falling glowrod and breaking glass behind her would explain the sudden sensation. For all the perks of a Force Bond, there were drawbacks as well.

Meanwhile, Kori would hunch her back and take a couple more shots at the droids, while moving to her right to leave their line of sight, if only for a few moments while they were still in the container. Needless to say, the droids would start firing erratically at both intruders.

Wincing as a steering pain shot through her arm, the ashen blonde instinctively reached a hand towards her 'wound'. Her eyes narrowing as she looked to the side as she felt no discernible wound, before her gaze turned to Kori standing behind her, shattered glow rod on the floor and clutching her wound. The nature of the growing bond that connected the two becoming clearer, not only was it emotions, thoughts and feelings that they could share but also the pain that the other was experiencing. Pain that also fuelled and fed the growing darkness that was building within the Sith Lord, the pain transforming into anger, the anger swelling into rage - the blood coarsed through the blondes veins like white hot fire, and as much as she shared in the pain of her partner, Kori would feel the Darkside's grip tightening around Alyse.

Stepping forwards, standing herself Infront of Kori and seppaerating her from the droids line of sight and fire. With a brief and almost instantaneous flash of crimson, Alyse's purple hued blade was ignited in a state of pure anger and rage, the blade moving swiftly to intercept the next salvo of blaster fire from the Dark Trooper droids. The hair on the nape of her neck standing erect in response to the adrenaline and the surging swells of the Force that was crashing through her, and pooling in the tips of her free hand, static sparks crackling between her fingers as the concentrated pool of the Darkside reached its limit.

Before the proverbial banks could burst, the Ashen blonde trusted her hand forwards, unleashing a violent series of forking arcs of electricity towards the droids as the shuffled out of the twisted container. The projected Force lightning ripping forwards and mercilessly burning through the outer shell casing of the closest droid, before arcing along its internal frame, to only then cascade outwards towards the next droid and then the next.

The crackling sounds of electricity being drowned out by the near ear piercing shrieking like screams of the droids internal circuitry being overloaded and burnt through. But atop that, what was perhaps most noticeable to the wounded Zeltron was the presence that the Ashen blonde now resonated in the Force. Granted Kori had sensed Alyses anger and frustration in the past, she had even witnessed her allow the embrace of the Darkside to fully wrap itself around her. But this sensation was different, this was white hot, like the touch of garlic to the holo horror vampires of old - it was a pure unrelenting and seething wrath that had consumed the blonde.

There was only one thing readable on the shared thoughts and desires that flowed between the two. And that was Alyses intent to not defeat and stop the droids that had harmed her partner, but to thoroughly rend and destroy them entirely. So much so was the burning thoughts that it was starting to drown out the usual restrained and calculating mind of the Governor. As she continued to drive the droids back into the container with the seering arcs of lightning, but with each passing stream of electricity that tore from her finger tips, the more singular the blondes thoughts became.

In a moment, things got worse. Even though Alyse was quick enough to ignite her saber, the distraction of the pain allowed another shot to land; this time on the Zeltron's hip. And unlike the previous injury, it wasn't a grazing wound; it made Nykoria—not a stranger to pain by that point—fall onto her fours with a loud yelp.

Still, the Zeltron tried her best to crawl away, as torrents of lightning annihilated the droids that dared to take a shot at her. Those useless mindless machines deserved every jolt of what they were getting! Had it not been for the pan, the wounded Zeltron might've fallen on her side ant taken a shot or two, just to get the satisfaction of seeing their electric brains blown out of their durasteel heads. Somehow, the thought was slowly eclipsing all else...

But still, Kori kept crawling aside, defying the pain that was building up, and the inevitable hell to pay. Meanwhile, the droids focused on the more dangerous opponent, who continued decimating them. Kori finally fell on her side, a vein thumping in her head, and her vision still blurry slightly. She watched the arcs of lightning as they intensified... There was something majestic in how the blonde Sith dispatched her opposition. That power seemed inebriating.

It was a ferrous taste in her mouth that distracted the Zeltron from the sight. It would appear that Kori had bitten her lower lip to the point of drawing blood as she was retreating from the droids. The all-empowering but foreign euphoria of righteous anger died down as the Zeltron continued to stare at what was unfolding. She's doing that... Because of me?

A sliver of warmth was the only thing that Kori felt as her back fell on the cold floor. For the moment, the defeated Zeltron was simply staring at the ceiling mindlessly, trying to regain her center. But so far, even quelling the pain was a challenge.

As the pain that resonated from one to the other through ethereal bond that connected them surged, so was the returning waves of sheer concentrated anger accompanied by the thickening of the air as the miasma of the Darkside that surrounded the blonde Sith Lord. The sheer unadulterated rage that had engulfed Alyse that was being directed towards the Imperial battle droid, whilst had burnt white hot from the first injury that Kori had sustained, had now intensified, the second hit that had connected with the Zeltron's hip and the pain that she suffered from it was enough for the white hot rage to intensify, almost to the point that it was about to reach criticality.

There was perhaps a hint of truth to some of Jedi's words of caution regarding attachments, being a fast track route to the Dark side. Attachments lead to the fear of loss, fear grows to anger, Anger leads to hatred and naturally that is what fuels the dark side. But there was of course the one aspect that the Jedi sought to overlook on that subject. And, that was the fact that attachments gave a person a reason to do all that they can to protect and prevent those they were attached to from coming to further harm - The subject in this case was Alyse's attachment to her partner, whom was now in pain and unable to defend herself because of her injuries, and as such was the growing desire to destroy those that would dare harm her Partner with a concentrated vehemence.

And it was because of those attachments, desires and passions that the inescapable sense of the Sith Lord's pending wrath had now fully engulfed the cargo hold, the deck plating, fixtures, crates everything that filled the cavernous chamber, trembled and groaned under the concentrated weight of the Force that was being summoned and brought to the blonde's heel. Amongst the din of the Force lightning, and the groaning metal, was a clattering sound, as Alyse's lightsabre slipped out of her grasp and fell onto the floor - seemingly no longer of any use to the blonde, who was now forgoing any semblance of a defence.

The blondes head lowered for a moment before it shifted to the side slightly, looking through her phased white eyes over her shoulder towards Kori to ensure that she was still breathing - despite the fact that their bond would have made Kori's condition all to clear, Alyse still sought a visual confirmation before her attention was returned back to the Dark troopers.

With both of her hands now free, an unrelenting torrent of lightning erupted from both palms, arcing and crackling in all directions towards the droids, before a dull bass rumbling could be heard before the arcs of lightning fell silent. The blonde's hand tightening into fists, as the darkened energies concentrated within her before with a sudden lunge of her open palms towards the droids and the container. Unleashing a wave of dark rippling Force energy that projected out from the wielder and encompassed those who drew her ire, her fingers closing in and once again tightening into clenched fists, drawing in and compressing the energies of the Force that and encircled the dark troopers and the cargo crate that they were emerging from.

Once again the cargo hold was filled with the ear piercing screech of metal twisting and tearing as the crushing weight of the Sith Lord's concentrated hatred, As the casing of the droids and the cargo container buckled and bent, the outer surface of the metal casing bubbled and spouted wisps of steam and smoke - before within a few short moments the compressing masses were enshrouded in a blue hued fire ball that grew brighter and in intensity as it continued to compress into an orb about half the size of the what the cargo container had originally been. Besides the sound of the screeching internals of the droids, the only thing that seemed to escape the burning mass was molten slag and metal that pooled on the decking plates.

With a wave of heat similar to what would be expected from a blast furnace, the burning orb of fire was extinguished, leaving a mass of molten metal that hovered mid air for a few moments before unceremoniously falling onto the ground like a clump of thick dough - as the Sith Lord turned her attention to the Zeltron. Dissipating and expelling the concentrated energies of the Force, the Ashen blonde, suddenly appeared knelt down at the wounded woman's side in a blur of motion. Despite the lingering chill of the darkside that had seeped into the fabric of the star destroyer, there was a sensation of genuine warmth that could be felt by the Zeltron as Alyse ran a hand over the side of Kori's features, before with a slight twisting of her hand to draw the hem of her sleeve over her wrist to wipe away the blood that had collected over the Jedi Master's face.

"Hold Still Kori" Alyse spoke, her voice surprisingly calm and warm despite the display of concentrated hatred that she had just exhibited a few moments ago, before the sound of tearing fabric could be heard as the blonde took a tight grip at the shoulder of her sleeve before with a sharp yank the fabric was torn away. Withdrawing the fabric over her arm and balling it up into a tight ball, before looking over her partner's injuries. "Sorry" she murmured moments before firmly pressing the fabric against her partner's hip.

Inhale. She lost track of time. Exhale. She didn't even see what was going on. Inhale. The thunder came to a close, replaced with the screeching of metal being bent in ways it wasn't meant to. Exhale For a moment, Kori even forgot where she was, and why she was there. All that remained was darkness.

When the Zeltron came to, the first thing she felt was the familiar touch of an alabaster palm. It elicited a weak smile, just as the Jedi opened her hazel eyes. "Not... running anywhere," she breathed out as her smile twisted and crooked. She already knew what the blonde was about to do; an instinctive "What for?" was not needed, and the Zeltron didn't have the time to insert the quip; instead, she responded with a grunt as the fabric was pressed against her injured hip.

As the initial surge of pain subsided to the point that Kori could talk again, she muttered: "Ugh, don't be. I know you're into that." There was only as much friendliness in her strained voice as the pain allowed. "But we've got to stop meeting like this." The purple face turned away from the blonde, as the Jedi took in the sight of the destruction. It felt like the Darkness now took root in the particular compartment of the ship. Not to mention the new piece of non-figurative art that found its place on the floor in the middle.

"We should..." the Zeltron grunted again mid-sentence, as she attempted to lift her torso up with the aid of the wounded arm. "... probably get back to out ship," the other arm did a better job, leaving Kori sitting on the floor and staring at her injured leg. Now that the pain and the Darkness subsided, the Zeltron found it much easier managing the pain. But whether or not she could walk remained to be seen. Only one way to find out...

The Ashen blonde resisted as much as she could to rolling her eyes at the Zeltron's attempts for her usual display of dry humour, a light tsk passing her lips instead as she shook her head - yet despite the outward restraint and resignation towards her partner's wit, there was still the inescapable sight of the blondes lip curling in a light smile. For someone who was often seen in public with only an air of stern stoicism, the slight twitching and fledgling smile spoke volumes for her Partner. The glimmer of a smile did wain as the Zeltron eased herself so that she was seated upright, replaced with a frown as the blonde had to shuffle slightly to the side to get a better angle and purchase to keep pressure on her partner's wound.

Her chestnut hued eyes narrowed slightly as she pursed her lips in thought for a moment musing over her partner's suggestion that they should get back to their ship. The question was how? Of the two Kori was the one with the brawn, and the strength to carry Alyse, and with the amount of energy that had just been exerted laying vengeance upon the battle droids, it would be a strain for the Sith to pool the energy to be able to carry the Zeltron back to the ship. The other way perhaps would be to prop up her partner and help bare her weight, but that likely depended on one key element, just how bad was the injury on the Zeltron's hip.

Taking a deep breath, more for bracing herself, it was unpleasant enough an experience seeing her partner in this state, feeling the pain that resided within from the injury, looking closely at the injury was certainly not going to alleviate the experience. Lifting the clumped and bloody sleeve away from the Zeltron's hip, the Ashen blonde grimaced at the sight. - Even if they could get Kori on her feet, by the look of the wound she'd black out from the pain before they got as far as the first corridor.

"I promised you that I wouldn't turn my darkened abilities on you" Alyse spoke, with a slight reluctance as she returned the scrunched up sleeve back to being firmly pressed against Kori's hip. "But I'm not sure that you'll make it any further than the corridor before either you black out or your pain takes hold of me" she added as her attention and gaze turned to meet Kori's directly, her words carrying a sincere concern for the risks that helping her partner move with the extent of her injury would have on either of them.

"There is a specific form of Mental subjugation that will allow me to control what you can, but more precisely can't feel" Alyse explained as she she eased a hand over towards the Zeltron's, her fingers wrapping around the Zeltron's form a moment. "But, That is only if you will explicitly permit me to do so" Alyse spoke with her usual and familiar matter of fact air to her words, she wasn't going to guilt trip or try to coax her partner into something that the Jedi would be uncomfortable in doing. "The only other option I can think of is that you stay here, and I go search for some medical supplies"

Alyse presented Kori with two options. Splitting up was a no go: left alone, the Zeltron wouldn't be able to protect herself, should any more hostiles appear. Frankly, mental subjugation didn't sound like a much better option. Kori couldn't quite put it why; trusting Alyse wasn't an issue; but entrusting access to one's free will was a big choice, regardless of who was asking.

Hesitant, the Zeltron stared at the wound. A part of her hoped that it was better than it looked. Now that the initial shock and pain had passed, maybe she could quell the pain. Eyes closed; a deep breath through the nose; focus your very being on the wound. Now move the leg... And sniffle in pain as you realize that the technique you had learned about from the healing holocron is too advanced for you yet. Or maybe it was the surge of the Dark side that had taken its toll and made the Zeltron worry too much about her own predicament.

After opening her eyes, the Kori stared at her wound again, before turning her face to the blonde who sat by her side. There was a certain helplessness in her expression. "I guess there isn't any other way..." she exhaled, before adding with grim resolution. "Go on, do your thing. You've got my permission."

It was a strange feeling to let go of the barriers that Kori had built up. Against someone reading her intent. Against someone entering her mind to learn the secrets of the Jedi. Against the ever-lingering Darkness in her companion. For the first time in a while, all that remained of Kori's defenses were just her thoughts and ideals.

The Jedi had left her mind exposed completely. If Alyse wanted, she could sift through Kori's memories, from as far back as her childhood, to the very recent ones. She could plant the hints of doubt in the Jedi Order, or the Light itself. But such was the risk that Nykoria was taking for a chance at rescue.

A tense silence lingered over the air as the Ashen blonde, awaited her partner's decision. Her eyes lingering over Kori for a few moments, whilst occasionally shifting away to survey their immediate surroundings, looking over the remains that had littered the cargo hold on their arrival, the sides of the bulk heads, or even cargo crates - all in an attempt to find another option. Her attention returned back to the Zeltron as she exhaled in resignation, accompanying Kori's sigh with her own reluctant sigh, she had secretly hoped that the Jedi Master might have some hidden trick or lightside ability hidden up her sleeve.

Nodding in understanding, Alyse released her hands from applying pressure on her partner's wound, wiping her hands against the fabric of her leggings to clean off some of the blood that had seeped through the improvised bandage, before raising her hands up to the side of Kori's head, fingers spreading out and making contact at various points along the Zeltron's temple. With a deep breath Alyse closed her eyes and reached out with the Force, extending her mind into the Force and allowing it to flow through her and into her partners mind, probing at first at the Zeltrons mind as bit by bit the mental barriers that Kori had been maintaining to protect herself against Alyse's influence were removed.

Whilst the two were able to share a degree of their thoughts, emotions and desires with each other through their bond, for each of them there was always a veil that covered the deepest and most private of thoughts and memories. Kori concealing the secrets that could endanger the Jedi order, her family and even her own reputation, and likewise so it was the same for Alyse sealing away knowledge that would endanger herself or the Sith Order. Whilst their relationship was in the process of forming a strong foundation, it was still as of yet to be thoroughly tested.

As if it were a stage magician doing their grand reveal, the veil was pulled back revealing the wealth of shadowed memories and thoughts, the Sith Lord was presented with the opportunity to do what ever she so wished to the Jedi Master's mind. The prospect of which was almost noticeable through the bond that they shared, but despite the traces of temptation that was present in the blonde's mind, there was a strong level of restraint. With a sigh Alyse opened her eyes and eased herself back, a light smirk on her features as she looked at her partner through her phased white eyes.

The blonde's eyes phased back into their normal, as the smirk curled into a flash of a warm smile, before she leant her head towards Kori's "Just relax, and be ready to move as soon as I am finished" Alyse instructed before kissing her partner, in an attempt to offer some reassurance that she was not just about to take full dominion of her partner's mind - though she knew a kiss would barely give the full reassurance she would desire, there needed to be a bigger gesture. "You will always be my Ashla, I will never dare change that" She added as their lips parted, and she looked deeply into her partner's eyes.

With another deep breath, the ashen blonde closed her eyes and, opened her mind back into the Force, her brow furrowing in concentration as she reached into the Zeltron's mind, and focused in on the pain centres. Sensing and feeling the pain that Kori was feeling from her wounds in it's rawest form, with the pain centre identified the Ashen blonde focused her attention on manipulating the Jedi's mind to isolate and fully block out sensations of pain that would be felt by the Zeltron. Though much like most Force based tricks of the mind, the duration of the effects was limited and in time it would wear off - so they would need to be quick on their feet.

With the deed done, the ashen blonde opened her eyes and looked towards Kori for a brief moment, flashing a warm smile before adjusting her posture so that she was squatting. "Come on, lets get you moving" Alyse spoke as she pulled one of Kori's arm over her shoulder before with a grunt she raised up to her full height, helping to lift her partner back onto her feet, her attention shifting to the side for a moment as she reached her hand out and summoned her lightsaber to her hand, clipping it in place on her belt and then swiftly summoning the weapons her partner was using.

With a brisk, but cautious pace, Alyse guided and helped her partner traverse their way through the lower cargo hold of the ship, through to the turbo lift., where the Sith would input the hanger that their ship was docked in as their destination before bracing herself and Kori against the shifting forces of the lift carriage as it rapidly accelerated and sped towards the hanger. Once the transit car came to a swift halt, the pair made wasted little time in making their way back onto their waiting ship - as the pain would undoubtedly be gradually returning, starting off with a mild throb and eventually working its way back to its original state.

With Alyse guiding her partner into the main living space and setting the Zeltron down onto the couch, before moving over towards the stowage lockers to retrieve the first aid kit - rummaging through it and pulling out bacta patches and setting them down onto the side table. Making a quick move over towards the kitchen facilities, the blonde retrieved a clean cloth and dampened it under the tap, before eventually returning to Kori's side. Kneeling down, the blonde smirked a little in anticipation of Kori teasing her over what she was about to do. Unfastening the Zeltron's leggings and easing them down over the Jedi's waist and hips exposing the wound in it's full extent, before proceeding to use the damp cloth to first clean the wound in preparation of applying the Batca Patches.

The touch of alabaster palms on her temples didn't elicit the familiar warm feeling in the Zeltron. If anything, it felt like going through a medical examination: a tense and somewhat awkward experience. The mental barriers were always a given; shedding them away felt almost like going somewhere without any clothes on. It didn't matter that only Alyse would get the chance to peek into the Zeltron's mind. The white irisless gaze didn't help either—even if it didn't irk the Jedi nearly as much as it used to.

More than anything else, it was the kiss and a surprising "my Ashla" that broke the ice and the last defenses, bringing a wry smile onto Kori's lips. What happened next seemed like a blur, with Alyse taking care of everything, and the Kori just going along for the ride—a surprised expression on her face upon the realization that she could walk without feeling any pain. And the best part was that she didn't even know it was temporary—lest the effect wouldn't be as prominent.

Leaving a place that was now forever marked by the Darkness that the Sith Lord had unleashed to save her felt like a relief. The Zeltron was uncharacteristically silent throughout the journey back to the ship. Her usually quick wit even failed to find a witty response to Alyse's "my Ashla"; except for a smile of acknowledgment: "Yes, and I'm okay with both parts." Otherwise the Jedi Master was focused on staying awake and connected to the Light.

It would come in handy when Alyse set her down the couch and headed off to get a clean cloth. The blocker that stopped the pain faded away, making the Zeltron's teeth clench against her wishes as she desperately tried to contain the pain with the ancient Jedi techniques she had learned. The fact that she was conscious and wasn't crying or screaming from pain proved that she was doing at least something right.

There was no teasing; just a remark that was more relevant to the situation at hand, as the Zeltron's hands clenched to the sofa: "We need to... Get out of here... And the coordinates..." her muttering was interrupted by a groan when Alyse started cleaning the wound.

All in due time” Alyse spoke as she set down the bloodied rag on her lap, before easing her partner back to rest against the cushioning of the sofa. The ashen blondes’ eyes narrowing as she caught sight of the Zeltron’s tightening knuckles as she clenched the padding of the sofa. “Hold still” she added, with the usual instructional like nature, yet the words carried with the familiar warmth and affectionate tone that she would use when with her partner. Wiping the blood off of her hands and onto her fatigues, the Sith Lord flexed her fingers for a moment as she once again summoned the Force to her will, before leaning over once again and placing her fingers against the sides of her partner’s temples – briefly drawing upon the dark side and with a haste granted through familiarity started to influence the pain receptors of her partner’s mind, dulling her senses to the pain in preparation for the rest of her treatment.

Although by no means would she proclaim to be a healer, or even by the remotest a field medic. She did have enough of an experience and training to address such wounds through her years, with the rare occasion having to treat her own. Especially giving her standing within Bakuran Society, it would certainly raise eyebrows or even investigations that someone of her position and background would present herself to a medical facility with a blaster wound. Satisfied that Kori had been sufficiently topped up, Alyse turned her attention back to the medical kit, pulling out a cauterising spray and removing the lid before proceeding to mist the contours of the Zelton’s wound with the agent, allowing to stem and clot the returning pool of blood. Swiftly followed by yet another spray, intended to sanitise the wound in preparation for the batca patch to be applied.

Once satisfied that the blaster wound had been suitably prepared, the blonde reached over and retrieved the waiting bacta patch, removing the protective covering before applying it onto the wound. Only after the blue gelled contents of the patch had been applied, did the blonde turn her attention back to Kori’s fatigues, notably the partially removed leggings – which were promptly and carefully removed, to allow the blonde to thread her partner’s wounded leg through a compression bandage intended to hold the patch firmly in place. With the pressing wound treated, Alyse’s attention was then turned to Kori’s right arm, recalling that the main origin for the concentrated wrath that fell upon the battle droids was the glancing wound her partner had suffered to begin with.

The only troubling matter however, the wound was on the opposite side from the wound to her partner’s hip! Doing what she could to carefully ease Kori over to grant more purchase and access to the Zeltron’s right arm, Alyse proceeded to retreat to the med kit to gather a few items, before setting them onto the back arm rest of the sofa. Unceremoniously the ashen blonde lent over her partner, lips pursing in concentration as she started to cut away the charred sleeve and proceeded to clean up and treat the wound – Uncaring of the fact that her chest was pressing against the side of her partner’s face, if anything was to go by Kori’s earlier lack of teasing over Alyse exposing her lower half, it was doubtful that she would be in her usual teasing mood.

Within a shorter span of time as had been required to treat the first wound, the Zeltron’s arm was cleaned, sanitised, treated and bandaged up. With Alyse rising up to her full height with a slight grunt, rolling her shoulders and back a little to work out the tightened muscles, before rocking her head back with a sigh and then making her way over towards the kitchenette to wash her hands under the running water of the sink. ”You can pull your defences back up now” Alyse spoke as she stepped away from the sink for a moment, headed to one of the cupboards whilst drying her hands with a paper towel. Opening the cupboard the blonde retrieved a small tumbler which she proceeded to fill it with water, before returning back to her partners side. Stopping for a moment to rummage through the med kit to retrieve some pain medication, with a slight flick of her hand Alyse manipulated the Force to move a near by foot rest towards the Zeltron’s side before sitting down. “Here take these, before the effects wear off” she resumed as she offered the medication and water to Kori.

Kori gulped when she sensed the Sith's palms on her temples again. As the pain faded away, the Zeltron was left in a very relaxed state. To her own surprise, Kori found out that she could only blink in compliance when Alyse told her to "hold still". But she was not opposed to that in the slightest. In fact, the Zeltron didn't even feel the sprays and the bacta patch on her skin, or the coolness of the air aboard the ship.

She was holding still and her mouth shut even when the blonde leaned over her to tend to the wound on the arm. All that Alyse would hear or feel was the Zeltron's light and slow breathing. It was when Alyse rose up that the purple-skinned woman sensed the pain once again. A scowl made way to her face as she attempted to concentrate again; but through it, the Zeltron managed to utter a "Thank you."

Needless to say, Kori accepted the offered painkiller without a second thought. But first, she'd adjust her position on the bed with her uninjured arm, before taking the glass and gulping down its contents like a Selkath on Tatooine. With the liquid consumed, she'd put the glass on the floor beside the bed. A groan accompanied the move, as the med hadn't had the time to kick in yet.

Resting her head on the sofa's armrest, Kori turned it towards the blonde sitting beside her. No words were said or needed; not even the mental defenses, which Kori didn't even think about. There was just the sense of pain going number by the moment, and the Zeltron's confidence and gratitude getting stronger... Along with a hint of danger and urgency that never left her; and a bit of remorse for what she was about to say next: "Alyse... I think we need to leave now. What if more droids show up?"

If there was anything that the the Zeltron could have done to snatch the ashen blondes attention to her in a swift and detect way, beyond attempting to get up off of the sofa come makeshift surgery. It was addressing her by her name, something that for the most part of their interactions they had grown to the point they didn't even need to address eachother by name - not that in most cases there ever was a need to given they have been in eachother's exclusive company for the past months. The Sith almost sitting bolt upright as her chestnut hued eyes locked with Kori's, listening with her full attention being suddenly commanded, as per partner voiced her concerns about taking their leave should more droids present themselves.

Nodding almost absently, the blonde, rested a hand on her partner's shoulder. "Yes... Of course" Alyse spoke, her voice carrying in an unfamiliar tone from the usual authoritative way she spoke. It was almost as if a sudden sobering realisation had been reached, coming about now that she had been able to sit and allow for the adrenaline and instinct to safeguard Kori and treat her wounds. With a slight sigh, Alyse rose from her seat, taking a look at the Zeltron in her bandaged and wounded state, emphasising that whilst this time they had been fortunate to a degree, she could well have lost the one the only thing that mattered to her - the realisation and troubling thought resonating tangibly from the Sith.

"I'll position the ship at a safe location, so that any further droids will not be able to reach us until we have time to rest" Alyse advised, as she picked up the emptied glass up off from the floor, carrying it with her fir a few steps before setting it down onto the side board in the way to the cockpit. Whilst of course she agreed that they needed to put some distance between them and any further attacks from any droids, doing so by navigating through the nebula didn't seem the wisest of options, especially given that it was a two person job to have gotten where they were now, and that was before one half of the couple had unleashed the full force of her fury.

A dull whine reverberated through the ship as it's engines and flight systems powered up, shortly after Alyse had disappeared into the confines of the ships cockpit. The ship juddering a little as it disconnected from the docking port, and banked away from its position. Within the cockpit the governor, slowly and cautiously navigated the ship out from the star destroyers ventral hanger cavity. Using the combination of the Force and her own sight to traverse around the outer hull of the Imperial relic, before setting the ship down on the upper dorsal hull of the star destroyer, and engaging the magnetic landing clamps.

Content that for the time being they were now out of any immediate danger, the Ashen blonde, powered down the ships engines and flight systems, before eventually Alyse emerged from the cockpit, and made her way back to her partner's side. "We should be safe from any immediate danger now" she advised as she neared the impormptu seat next to the Zeltron. "Least now we can rest safely for the time being before we attempt to navigate the nebula again" the blonde resumes as she sat down at her partners side, her eyes shifting to Kori as she offered a weak but affectionate smile. "How are you holding up?"

Even if Kori remained silent, she did sense the shift within her partner. It manifested as a sudden tug on the opposite of the ethereal string connecting the two; as waking up after briefly succumbing to drowsiness. As the blonde left the room, Nykoria remained lying on the bed, staring absent-mindedly at the ceiling. The meds were kicking in already, but the Zeltron opted not to move and test their effectiveness.

Her mind wandered aimlessly as the ship's engines kicked in, and she heard the hum of the systems which had become the norm throughout their long journey. The eventual soft jolt throughout the ship—and the numb dull ache in the wounds—indicated that Alyse had found some other landing spot, not too far from where they had been.

The blonde would find Kori lying on the sofa, pretty much as she had left her minutes before. Still somewhat distant, the Zeltron mustered a weak thankful smile in return. "More like... Holding still?" Nykoria replied to Alyse's question, her tone indicating the lack of confidence in her worse-than-average pun.

"But seriously... I feel like a mess, and like I had been shot twice," Kori's confidence grew as she cast a glance at the bandages over the exposed skin. "And a little cold." The Zeltron paused for a moment, a realization hatching in her mind as she looked in the direction of a nearby wall, a curious expression forming on her face: "Hold on a second... Didn't our ship have a medbay?"

A weak tentative smile crossed her features as Kori shared how she was feeling, although the blonde was sure that the Zeltron had called upon her usual characteristic wit in her response, the reminder of the wounds still carried with a sting, now that all the adrenaline had started to wean off. The heat of the blonde's near autopilot focus on treating her partner's wounds long since passed, left with just the cold reality that she could of lost her partner. A long sigh escaped Alyse's lips as she placed a hand on Kori's fore arm before getting up to her feet and pacing over towards one of the cabinets within the living space and retrieving one of the throw blankets.

Carefully the Governor opened out the blanket and placed it over Kori' ensuring that she was covering the Zeltron's exposed purple hued flesh as best as possible. Her features then reddening at the closing comment from her partner as she quizzed her over whether the ship had a med bay or not, the blonde's eyes narrowing for a moment as she adverted her gaze to the side for a moment. "Yes... You are correct we do have one onboard" She confessed with a slight shrug, before sitting back down beside her partner. "I guess perhaps I wasn't thinking straight" Alyse offered, her tone conveying the fact that she was not even convinced by her own answer - on reflection she wasn't really sure as to why she failed to acknowledge the fact that there was a Medbay on board, the only reason that she could fathom was that she was so singularly focused on tending to Kori's wounds that she had gone blind to the facilities available to them, in her own state of tunnel vision.

A light but almost noticeably forced smile curled on the blonde's lips for a moment, as she looked over towards the spent wrappings of the medical sundries that she had used to treat Kori's wounds. "Fortunately your wounds don't appear too serious" Alyse offered after a brief silence, before pursing her lips in thought for a moment. "Although they will heal, unfortunately I'm not much of a medic, so you may be left with some nasty scars" she continued, as she reached over to hold onto her partner's forearm. "However, when we get home, I could arrange for you to receive some dermal regeneration treatments, if that is something that you would like?"

As Alyse covered her with the blanket, Kori responded with a weak, shy, and yet radiant smile. The Governor's confused reaction and blushing were priceless on their own. But even more so were the countless pun opportunities that the blonde had presented with the mention of "not thinking straight". Yet the Zeltron didn't make use of any of them; the "upcoming pun" feeling itself, shared among the two faster than the speed of thought, was satisfying in its own right.

There was a resigned sigh at the mention of scars. And yet, despite that, the smile never vanished, nor did it draw away from Kori's confidence. There was a time when the beauty-conscious Zeltron might've been concerned with that. Half of her face was already covered in old burn marks. But since the fateful encounter with the Sith on Coruscant, Nykoria had been through so much. Ups and downs eventually helped her grow beyond those concerns.

Her eyes narrowed—a sign of exhaustion as much as shrewdness—the Zeltron responded to Alyse's touch: "Maybe. It depends. It's not like many people would see these new scars. And even fewer could make me feel bad about them." Kori took a deep breath as she finished her speech and closed her eyes, forcing the smile to spread across her face as she tried to contain the remains of lingering pain. "Sorry, guess you'll have to tend to all the other stuff like nav beacons and whatnot yourself."

A light but still concerned smile lingered on the blonde's lips as she listened to Kori muse over the offer for seeking dermal regeneration treatment, it seemed perfectly in character with her partner to not be too concerned over the scars, after all Kori didn't seem to particularly mind bearing the scars she's collected over her years and travels. Alyses hand moved up away from gripping her partner's forearm as Kori apologiesed for the additional work and burden of carrying out the remaining work alone, her raised hand moving towards the side of her partner's face, fingers brushing through the Zeltron's indigo locks of hair for a moment offering an attempt to comfort and reassurance.

"That's fine" Alyse commented plainly, as she looked over Kori for a brief moment. "The important thing for me is that you rest and allow your wounds to heal" she added before leaning forwards and lightly kissing the Zeltron on her forehead, offering a reasuring smile as she drew her head back away from her partner's before rising up from her perch and standing back up at her full height.

Summoning the empty glass up into her hand, the blonde moved away from Kori's side, retreating back into the small kitchenette space to refill it with water. Shortly followed by the sound of rummaging through cupboards and rustling of packaging before the blonde eventually returned back to Kori's sight - carrying a filled glass of water, a couple of nutrition bar packs and a short strip of low dose pain killers. Once the items had been set down on the small impromptu seat she had perched herself upon, all within easy reach for the Zeltron. "Those should keep you going for a few hours or so" Alyse spoke before crouching down closer to the Zeltron, and parting a brief but tender kiss on her partner's lips. "Once were under way and out of the nebula, I'll come back and check up on you" she spoke before raising up to her full height once again. "But if you need me urgently...." She added, before furrowing her brow, not quite sure why she was about to suggest Kori call her. Their bond after all would let the ashen haired governor if her partner needed aide. Rolling her eyes, and putting it down to yet another moment of not thinking straight or still being shaken by the events on the ship.

"Never mind, I'm sure I'll know if you need me" she concluded with a slight resignation to her words, before bringing a hand up to rub at her eyes for a moment. With a sudden jerking motion the blonde seemed to snap out of her moment of frustration and returned back to a state of familiar focus, shooting her partner a quick affectionate gaze before retreating into the lower hold of the ship to start preparing and loading the Nav beacon to jettison before departing the nebula and continue with Thier return journey home to Bakura.
