MORDETH THE HUTT'S ARMOR

Mordeth Anjiliac Massri's armor is based upon the armor of a heroine from the Hutt Cartel's past: the warlord Myarga the Hutt. It consists of durasteel breastplate that covered most of the Hutt's chest, back, and shoulders. It also consists of a pair of metal armbraces. The armor is decorated with the skulls of Mordeth's former rival gang leaders, which she collected after having them executed at her Menagerie on Ord Mantell. The skulls serve as a reminder to her enemies that she is dangerous despite her bulky size and relatively slow movement. The armor itself also gives her a way to protect herself from harm.

LEGALITY

As the armor is not fitted with any illegal equipment, it is considered legal wherever armors are allowed to be worn.

INTENT

To provide some protections for my Hutt.

Type and Coverage

Type: Light/Medium/Heavy Armor

Coverage: Medium armor
  • Head: None.
  • Torso: Durasteel chest plate.
  • Back: Durasteel back plate.
  • Upper Arms: Durasteel coverage on right upper-arm.
  • Lower Arms: Durasteel bracers and gauntlets.
  • Upper Legs: None.
  • Lower Legs: None.


Functions



Function 1: Wrist Flamethrower
  • Wrist flamers are rare, expensive, and dangerous armor attachments favored by mercenaries and soldiers more than bounty hunters, and are illegal in many systems. Wrist flamers are powered by small fuel capsules, and typically hold enough for 3 short bursts of flame. These bursts last 2 seconds, are one meter wide and have a maximum range of 3 meters. The weapon must be manually activated via button or switch, and must be disassembled to be reloaded.
Function 2: Dart Launcher
  • Can launch a dart accurately up to 15m. This dart is filled with a fast-acting, short-lived sedative that can render near-humans unconscious, or a sedative tailored to one specific alien physiology. The dart is incapable of penetrating even the lightest armor, or even thick leathers. The dart has the same practical effect as a medium stun bolt.
Function 3: Droid Blaster Arm
  • This mod comes as a small box that attaches to the back of a chest piece and has a folding droid arm on the left or right side. The arm has a 24 hour battery and an extremely primitive combat droid brain that can pivot and fire in any direction, but has only basic accuracy. The arm can operate independent of the user, but has to be manually activated and deactivated.
Function 4: Pneumatic Fist
  • Essentially a bulky impact-fired jackhammer strapped to a user's forearm, the pneumatic fist is a deadly melee weapon. It has the force to knock an unarmored enemy off their feet, and even through armor the impact of the weapon can cause massive internal damage, and a hard swing can even take out small or weak doors. Impact mitigating technology protects the user from the weapon's kick. While you can hold weapons with the the same arm the Pneumatic Fist is on, this fist weapon can't be activated while doing so.
Function 5: Personal Cloaking Device
  • A gauntlet function only acceptable for light or medium armor, portable cloaking devices are extremely useful for sneaks and, quite frankly, cowards who want to avoid a fight. They provide relatively complete invisibility from the naked eye at a distance of more than 10 meters by warping the light around them, but are quite useless under that range. However, one must move slowly, no faster than a walking speed, and cannot attack in any way, or the cloaking is ended, and it only lasts for about 30 seconds anyways. One's heat signature can still be detected easily. The device must be activated and deactivated by manually pushing a button located on gauntlet, and takes 3 seconds to become fully operational, a time in which one is immobile and can be injured or killed quite easily.
