Monica Stott's Training (#2?)

Monica nodded. Taking the lightsaber amateurishly, she empowered it, and rush forward, swinging.

 

[Malon]

The attempt was sloppy at best. Siri felt the currents of the Force, and knew the direction the attack would come from. Gathering the Force to her palms she actually caught the plasma blade of the lightsaber in her hand, absorbing and dispersing its energy so that it caused her no harm.

"Use the Force. Think. Swinging a lightsaber blindly accomplishes nothing. You have to let the Force guide you." Siri explained as she shoved Monica's blade back.

 

[Kassa]

She nods, sighing. Taking in a deep breath, she used her telekinesis ability to hurled a few tiles at Siri. "I don't want to hurt you though!" Monica says, leaping into the air in an attempt to come down on Siri's head. She knew her attack could easily be dodged by a Master, but the Jedi principles only wanted her to defend.

 

[Malon]

Siri waved her hand in Monica's direction, sending the apprentice's lightsaber flying to the other end of the room, clattering harmlessly to the floor. She then sidestepped Monica, who also landed harmlessly. She also let out a small laugh, "You won't hurt me." she reassured. "At least, not intentionally."

With the Force, she called the fallen training lightsaber to her hand and then thumbed the ignition, causing the cyan-plasma blade to spring to life.

"Now its your turn to defend." she said. "Use the Force like I did. Don't worry though, I will stop if I see that you could be hurt."

Monica nods, stepping into a stance. Wielding the basic Force abilities she has, the padawan waves her hand as she uses her Force to attempt to push Siri across the room.
