So, after speaking with Boli, he has given me the go-ahead to put a missions board up. There are lots of plans down the line for the Bogan, plans that can't be implemented right away, however. So in the meantime, some missions Boli and I have had brewing for a while are going to be posted up to keep the faction going!

On the suggestion of Butler (Butt-ling), if anyone wants to suggest any missions or ideas for threads faction-based that they would like to see happen, here is the place to discuss them. The sticky thread will go up as soon as I get the chance!

Well *cough* I've got some ideas. As resident Buttling, I now offer my fairytales and head movies...

One idea I've had for a bit is that we bring back the breeding and populating of the galaxy with sithspawn and force-devouring creatures. The same that cause the Jedi in kotor history to go on a galaxy wide hunt to exterminate said creatures. Step one would be to gather these various creatures to our bases, though Dagobah seems the best place to do it, or gather the indigenous creatures. Second step obviously to taint the creatures, torture and morph their cellular structures to become deformed Force-hungry maniacs. Then we disperse them to the winds and let them hunt down any and all Force boons and Force attuned individuals both Jedi and Sith alike. This would be good training for us in the process, provide us with good missions, and make for good protection and ongoing offensive across the galaxy and possibly become a site-wide, that's swerp wide, threat. Course it'd take time and we'd have to rp it out.

Another idea is missions involving assassinations. I'd like to influence different governments, factions, and all manner of businesses. Maybe kill a good leader and replace with a puppet. Or in the opposite direction, start helping other groups be they NPCs or PCs and influence them to slowly become our benefactors while we grow.

I've already suggested the "Legends" idea about missions involving unverified ghost stories that provide good challenges and can turn into inter-faction contention if chosen to be the underlying theme as the reality to the myth.

I do find it difficult to put my mind in a place of forming missions when I'm not sure what direction we're facing as a faction, tbh though.

Not bad,, although if you're going to have spawns you're going to need a fail safe of some kind of the other. Maybe a finite life span, or a virus/ dna coding on the off chance they decide to do what you do not want them to. Or you could just kill them, but that would be a waste.

I think we should have a mission where we set up spy netoworks on Eriadu. It's a major point of hyperspace travel, lots of traffic to monitor, and it's in a prime location to keep an eye on both the rebellion and the jedi order's comings and goings. We can use it as a possible grapevine as well, in case anyone comes a coming our way.

I disagree. Here's why. One, our faction, based on the synopsis I've read in our boards, is one of chaotic activism and impulsive orderly disorder. Imo, I think that it would be cooler to implement a little chaos. Two, I think the whole idea is to have the 'Sithspawn' want to kill every Force sensitive without discrimination to friend or foe or maker or underling. If they can be controlled by us, then they can be controlled by our enemies. If they can't be controlled period and are a thread to everyone, then they are that much more of a threat to our enemies. All we have to do is place them where we want them through the galaxy and instant trap is set like homing missiles that seek out Force sensitives and/or Force touched areas. And three, if we imbed short life spans we are helping our enemies in the long run and I don't like that idea. I prefer the idea that we train our lower ranks to be able to navigate or kill those beasts just as skillfully as the higher-ups are capable of doing, or they die from their own ineptitude. But that's just me... :P

Spys is cool.

See this is difficult. Not trying to start a riot or anything. I luvs you guys. But I'm just saying, how can we the underlings help suggest missions without having the vaguest idea of who we are or where we're going? I know that's not your fault. And I get that Green has some probably really cool plans coming. But it's a little tough down here. Just sayin.

Oh, no don't get me wrong I wasn't like: "Bron u is stoopid for not know r sekrit planz!" These are missions that we are on right now and have been on for a while; I would have been a lot sneakier and more cryptic if these were things no one knew about.

My experience with sixth spawns, and its personal experience only, so take it as you will. Is it's not so much controlling the spawn because of personal safety issues. But its a resource issue. Alchemy is essentially genetic manipulation via the force. So you need lab space, access to genetic material, a place to grow them ect. That's not cheap. Besides if there is limited genetic material to work with you're end up with some thing a kin to a bottle neck population, which whilst interesting from a science point of view is not something you want in your minions.

We have plenty of space, plenty of Force skilled members and plenty of lab room (which isn't necessary IMO) in the K-Labs if it's needed.

No I don't think you'd absolutely have to have a lab. But, it would make things easier. Given the real world requirements for messing with DNA.

Yes, bear in mind these creatures are made primarily trough Force manipulation though. Maybe a nice catacomb or a crypt.... Hmmm.

Yeah, you can always be because the force that's why. But, I would think you would need something, if not an outright lab, then something to store the DNA at least.
