Protecting Our Assets

With the war over the Sith and the Imperials have now been tasked with protecting thier new assets, mainly the citizens. Several pirates, raiders, and slavers now run rampant through the nearly conquered systems and planets causing chaos and without the Jedi to protect them, it is up to the Sith to show the citizens that they are far safer under the rule of the Imperials.

Goal: Hunt down and eradicate the threat. Capture the leaders of the roving bands so that they can be publically executed for their crimes against the Imperial citizens.

Location:N/A I'll leave that up to you.

Additional Notes: The leader(s] of the pirates needs to be NPCed

[Under the Table.]

The once secret ring of smugglers residing in the underground caves of Sullust have once again begun to gain prominence. Rumors have spread throughout the region that the Sullustan's have been providing the Rebel's with droids, blaster rifles and starships to counter the looming thread of Sith Invasion. Find these traitors and show them the true punishment for betraying the New Sith Imperium.

Goal: Find and eliminate the Sullustan smugglers, destroy their products.
Location: Sullust.
Additional Notes: Alternative breathing systems will be needed to survive the landing. Killing the smugglers in public may incite a martyrdom. If possible, find a way to tie the deaths to the Jedi.

[The Cult of Sanguine Ghosts]

Within the frozen wastes of Ziost, a Dark Side cult who refer to themselves as the Sanguine Ghosts has been growing for decades. Its leader, the Hierophant Blood, is possessed by the the spirit of an ancient Sith Lord from the First Sith Empire. A master of Alchemy, the spirit has twisted its host into a grotesque creature trying to recapture its old Pureblood body. The Cult has been luring Acolytes away, with promises of easy power and pleasure that they desire, no matter how extravagant or immoral. The Sith Masters of Ziost have sent out a request to head into the Hierophant of Blood's tomb to dispatch the cult, banish the Dark Spirit and kerp watch for any holocrons or scrolls that will prove useful to the Sith Order.

Goal: Destroy the Cult of Sanguine Ghosts, gather whatever knowledge is to be found and banish the spectral Sith Lord once and for all .
Location: Ziost
Additional Notes: An NPC (I recommend Martha Ragnos, she'll jump at the chance) is required to play the Hierophant of Blood. When you face him you will have to destroy his mutated host body and then his spectral form. If a participant is a Sith Pureblood, the Hierophant will try to possess them, but such an obsession may prove useful as a distraction.

[The Grimoire of the Ancients.]

Rumors have spread throughout the temple on Korriban that an ancient sith spellbook has been discovered by a cult of Dark Jedi on Onderon. These rogue force users plan to destroy the book in a large ritual for praising the arcane arts. Not only is the grimoire a sacred artifact of ancient Sith culture, it also contains secrets to long forgotten alchemic rituals and other magical spells. The cultists are proficient practitioners of the force and they've found the means to construct their own lightsabers, mainly by luring rogue Jedi Padawans away from their masters and killing them in the darkness of the forest.

Goal: Eliminate the cultists and recover the spellbook.
Location: Onderon.
Additional Notes: The cult contains twelve people, all armed with lightsabers and intermediate force knowledge. It is possible to kill up to three stealthily. The surrounding forest can be used to the advantage of the Sith.

[Conquering Hearts]

The Sith along with their Imperium have won the war, scattered the Jedi, and broken the once great Galactic Alliance. They now control much of the galaxy and turn their attentions to more civil duties. Politics and restoring rule of law is always difficult after a war, but it is made all the more difficult when the people are against you...Conquering the galaxy doesn't men the hearts of the people are with you. Many still remember the horrors of war. The crimes committed by the same men and women that pose as their new, caring leaders. Without the hearts, minds, and loyalty of the people; what have you really won but more battles just waiting to begin? Embers to catch fire? Already the whispers of revolt spread among the common citizens. Rather than help the people of a sizable settlement on Ord Mantell, known as New Goran, with necessities such as organizing food/medicine rations, helping restore the local economy, and building trust with the locals Imperial Administrator Wei has been cracking down hard on the citizens and is neglecting their concerns. As such some of the citizens have begun to fight back in small ways but things are quickly escalating. If something is not done soon it could be a full-blown rebellion and either way it ends could reflect poorly on the Imperium. If control of New Goran is lost, a strategic position is compromised. If we win, we have just slaughtered countless citizens and lost their faith, potentially sparking more revolts within Imperial controlled space.

Goal: Deal with Admin Wei, restore the peace, capture the instigators, and defuse the volatile situation through any means.
Location: Ord Mantell - Settlement of New Goran
Additional Notes: Admin Wei is ambitious and headstrong, he could be using the small revolt gain more notice from the Imperial Brass. Be warned; he is clever and doesn't like people disrupting his plans. Help the citizens regain faith in the Imperium, they may help you or harm your investigation based on your actions. What happens to the instigators will be up to you, but remember the locals are watching and forming opinions. There are multiple paths to completion of this mission and it will change based upon interactions, choices, and the skills of the participants.

[The Assassination of Anders Finnerland.]

Anders Finnerland, the Governor of Ord Mantell has pledged his allegiance to the Imperium for years since the invasion of Coruscant. However, recent news from the Mid Rim planets suggests that the Governor's allegiance has started to sway due to recent events in his system. Rumors have spread that the Government of Ord Mantell has been harboring small sects of exiled Jedi somewhere on the planet. Recent changes in policy on the part of the Governor suggests that he's making it much easier for civilians to enter the planet. The Imperium's leadership has decreed that Finnerland must be dealt with in order to avoid a domino effect of planets within Sith space changing their allegiance to the Jedi/Rebellion.

Goal: Assassinate Governor Anders Finnerland of Ord Mantell. Leave no evidence of Sith involvement.
Location: Government House, Ord Mantell.
Additional Notes: No lightsabers are allowed for this mission. The Governor's protection detail includes seven officers armed with standard blaster rifles, and two security guards that patrol the halls of the Government House. Participants are required to leave evidence of Rebel involvement instead in order to turn the tide against an emerging cell in that sector.

This is what happens when all the people I'm RPing with are busy and I get bored.

Desert Madness

Archaeological expeditions, groups Sith Acolytes and Imperial personnel often disappear into the deserts of Korriban, where the wildlife and heat are not the most dangerous threat. A large expedition of Imperial archaeologists has been recently discovered deep in the Valley of the Dark Lords, the Dark Side energy of the planet has corroded their minds and driven them to complete madness. They must either be rescued if possible, or exterminated.

Goal: Deal with the insane archaeologists, by either killing them or rescuing them.

A revolutionary group supporting his ideals are blaspheming the Imperium, claiming it's ways are against the Sith code. Interrogate the handmaiden in Imperial custody and trace the source of the crime.

Goal: Find out the source of the poison and who is instructing the handmaiden. Find out where the Sith Lord and his apprentice are hiding. Execute the girl, or defeat and execute the Sith Apprentice, or defeat and execute the Sith Lord.
Location: Anaxes
Additional Notes: The location of the Sith Lord and his Apprentice is up to you.

Trouble on Bogden

Sith Inteligence reports A Rebel Group is rumored to be sprouting up and starting some trouble for the local governor. For a while, they have been causing nothing but chaos for the local troops and disrupting shipments of tibanna gas from one of its moons. Essentially, they are attempting to take control of the planetary system to make it a base of operations to launch a campaign of attrition to sever the Hydian Way and interrupt the traderoute for the Imperials. Their leader and his Base of Operations are located on one of the moons, however any attempt to pinpoint which one has been thwarted.

Goal: Locate the Rebel Cell in the Bogden System and eliminated it. Capture or kill on leiutenants and grunts is authorized. Imperial High Command wants the Leader Alive to make an example of him, however if left no other alternative killing him is authorized. Either or, eliminating the Rebel Threat on Bogden must be swift and absolute...Long live the Imperium...

Location: General Location:Bogden System. Actual Location: Unknown.

Additional Notes: Someonoe Required to play the Leader and his group (Anyone will do). can either be affiliated with the actual Rebels or are a splinter group themselves. This is a great mission for upstart Sith and/or Imperials to do or for others to boost their cred.

Good suggestion! The Dark Council will take it under consideration. Thank you!

Good suggestion. The Dark Council will take it under consideration, though the wisest option would most likely be to destroy the ghost. This mission may end up being reserved for Crusaders and higher. Acolytes and Sith ghosts do not mix.

Thank you for the suggestion. The Dark Council will consider it, but it will most likely change the mission parameters. Once you're declared a traitor, your fate is sealed. You kill the target, or bring her back to face Imperial justice. By helping her escape, you brand yourself a traitor as well, and will be an open target for any Sith or Imperial to kill. Giving missions with an objective that is contrary to the Imperium's goals is not the wisest choice.

The Sadow Revolution

In ancient times, the planet of Khar Delba and its moon were ruled by the radical Sith Lord, Naga Sadow. Location: Nar Shaddaa

Thank you for consideration, but the Dark Council cannot condone this mission. It takes place on a world owned by a rival faction, and spice and drugs are illegal within the Imperium, save as painkillers, administered by medical professionals.

Dead Space on Yavin 9 To the Sith, the Creation of Zombies is a sacred and powerful art and used only by the Sith. However, An unauthorized Experiment has begun on Yavin 9, near Yavin 4, home to a Sith site. The Imperial Scientists there have begun an experiment to scientifically replicate this Sith Power through the use of modern Science and technology. However, their experiment has gone horribly wrong. In their arrogance to harness the power of the Dark Side, they have rendered the entire moon populated with Artificial Zombies. They are swarming the area, and it has now come to Imperial high command's attention after picking up a distress signal from a Survivor, Dr. Carmack.

Goal: Clear Yavin 9 of the Blasphemous Zombie infestation and restore it back into Living Imperial Hands. the Scientists that created these abominations have commited an attrotious act. After eliminating the Zombies, Either capture or Kill any surviving scientists that are on the Moon. Destroy their work so another incident like this will never happen again. the power to make Zombies belong to the Sith and ONLY the Sith. Long live the Imperium...

Location: Yavin 9

Additional Notes: NPC of Dr. Carmack is needed and pretty much it will require at least one Sith (any rank will do, for Accolytes its a great mission to boost their scores), and at best a Squad of Imperial Troops.

[The Cave]

The Dark Side trembled at the touch of the Light, even as it consumed them. A Sith felt the shudder and called for Imperial Agents to look into the Dagobah system, for any traces of the Jedi. They discovered a small group of Jedi on the swamp planet, looking to train in the ways Luke Skywalker had in the past in hopes of achieving their full potential. However, once they reached the cave where Skywalker had faced his illusion, things went wrong. They failed the trial, and the Dark Side consumed them, twisting them into lunatic Force users neither Jedi nor Sith, save for the Master who accompanied them. However, the Dark Side is present in him, and he barely maintains his connection to the Light.

It's been decided that a small group of fighters be sent to the system, to purge these rogue Jedi before their Master can cleanse the cave of darkness, and hopefully turn or capture him to gain an edge over the crumbling Jedi Order with his knowledge.

Goal: Kill the insane Padawans and capture/turn the Corrupted Jedi Master.
Location: Dagobah
Additional Notes: 1-2 Sith (Imperial Operatives optional: 1-2). The Jedi Master PC is to be played by an RPer. There are 15 Padawans, and the Master. Some are outside the cave, others are inside, with him at the heart, trapped until he can purify the cave.

Corrupted Matrix

At a military facility on Ziost, an experimental program to create a new line of battle droids for special operations in hazardous environments has gone awry. The three prototypes, equipped with advanced sensors and combat software were corrupted by a virus. The droids registered every organic in the base as hostile and opened fire. The trio escaped into the frozen wastes. The droids performed extremely well despite the corrupted programming, so the Imperium desires the droids returned more or less intact.

Goal: Track down and recover the droids. Do not completely destroy them

Location: Ziost

Additional Notes: The droids are well armed and armored with each equipped with a repeating blaster carbine and wrist rockets

I'll consider it. I may have them infected with GAIA-V.

Good suggestion. The Dark Council will take it under consideration, though the wisest option would most likely be to destroy the ghost. This mission may end up being reserved for Crusaders and higher. Acolytes and Sith ghosts do not mix.
The difficulty would depend on the ghost's strength and potency. If he isn't able to appear as an apparition, then he's probably a weak spirit.

I thought the Imperium wasn't supposed to be oppressive? I gave different objective options so players could have Light Side/Dark Side options. Something as minor as letting a brutalized low-ranking Sith defect is purely for imaginative flare and should not be a reason for targeting characters, at least on an OOC level. Doing so would be unnecessarily restrictive.

Thank you for consideration, but the Dark Council cannot condone this mission. It takes place on a world owned by a rival faction, and spice and drugs are illegal within the Imperium, save as painkillers, administered by medical professionals.
Sith should be above Imperial law. If you insist on making spice illegal within the Empire (though I'm not sure why the Sith would have any moral concern for the use of drugs within their society), then at least make things like that legal for the Sith. Making IC rules like these is really overly rigid and ruins plenty of story opportunities like this one. Why do Sith missions actually have to benefit the Imperium as a whole, when they're creating activity and telling a good, fun story? Because really, that's the only reason people RP in any faction.

Thank you for the suggestion but the Dark Council cannot condone this mission. Slavery has been outlawed within the Imperium for over ten years. Not even a Lord of the Sith is allowed to own a slave.
It is the nature and right of a Sith to exploit the weak for their own gain, and again, what laws affect Imperial citizens should not affect members of the Sith Order. I also never specify if the girl is being paid or not, she doesn't have to be a slave. The Sith Lord could be paying her personally for her service as a concubine. He also doesn't need to have purchased her, he could have been given her by one of his allies or something along those lines.
