Operation on Bespin Series: Part 1
Hello Blackbird Pirates. The Operation On Bespin is a series of missions that will the stage for the Blackbirds to knock off Bespin's planetary leadership and plunder it's precious Tibanna Gas for all it's worth, as well as establish a haven there. These missions are set ups for an eventful powergrab for Bespin that will take place when the missions are completed. The missions involve actively attacking their Tibanna Gas shipment convoys, setting up some remote control bombs on Cloud City to use when the time comes, and then working to get some of their more corrupt Wing Guard officers to side with us.
Bespin isn't ruled by any major faction. Cloud City has no major power to protect it. All they have is mercenary contractors and their own Cloud City security forces. Those fools aren't a match for the Blackbird Pirates. Who wants to take their draconian Baron Administrator down a couple pegs?
When all the participants for the threads are filled, I will be the one who starts the thread. I'll play the NPC opposition for all three of the threads unless someone wants to volunteer to help. If there's any questions, any suggestions, or anything, just let me know. This is my first mission pack ever, but yeah, lets get that booty! There will be more to come as well.
So yeah, just sign up for whatever mission(s) you want to do along with a link to your character, and I'll fill you in.

Mission 1: Tibanna Theft [Ask]

Reports indicate that around a certain time, a convoy of two Voruda-Class Heavyfreighter moving large quantities of Tibanna Gas will leave from Bespin to depart along the Ison Corridor. Once they leave the planet, they will rendezvous with their assigned security detail. We know what time and where and we have a narrow window of opportunity. Deal with the starfighter squadrons, board the freighters, and then take control of them.
The White Lady will be present, to disable the Freighters with it's Heavy Ion Cannons
Reports indicate that a private military firm has multiple squadrons of starfighters protecting the freighters to make sure that their shipments of precious tibanna gas are safe. The enemy starfighters must be destroyed. There are also armed mercenaries on board the freighters as well, they will need to be eliminated.
Once that’s done, the captains boarding the freighters will hijack them and then will unload the cargo at a location yet to be named once the ion cannon disabling effect wears off. The plan is to move in quickly and move out once we have the plunder. If this is completed, it would send a powerful message to the Bespin government and we make off with the Tibanna gas. With this, we start taking control of where the gas flows.

When everything is set up and we are ready to move on Bespin, we plan on having three high explosive proton bomb charges we acquired be set on Cloud City wired to detonate remotely. Entering via on board a freighter (with a spoofed transponder) at a landing pad to the northeast under the guise of a regular cargo shipments, the proton bombs will be hidden in ordinary cargo crates coated with scatterweave to fool scans carried via a replusorlift cart. The task here is to move the bombs to the locations listed below.
Targets Are:
Bespin Security HQ - North side of the upper city.
Bespin Wing Guard Hanger - Farthest north side of Upper City.
Communications Tower - Center of Upper City
The places are well-guarded. Make sure the bombs are inconspicuous to where they won't be discovered until it's too late, yet are placed as strategically as possible to inflict maximum damage. A stealthy approach is perfered, but if that fails it won't necessarily fail the mission. Feel free to be creative. But whatever happens, make sure they can't discover what we are up to. If successful, when the bomb are triggered, chaos will ensure in Bespin.
If external help is needed for this mission, the Blackbirds organization will compensate them for their work.

Meaning via meeting his demands, convincing him via silver tongue, or intimidation, and if the meeting is discovered by security, deal with them and escape with the contact in one piece.
