Emryc couldn’t help but chuckle again as Jaikus shouted his name. However, the man’s next actions completely caught him by surprise. Jaikus plopped backwards as if he took a sucker punch to the face and so dramatically it put the deaths of the characters of the poet Pakesheare to shame. The half Sephi could only stare in wonder as he appeared to wildly flail around in an attempt to clean everything off. He began to laugh all over again, taking in sight of the theatrical display that was similar to the mask incident or when Jaikus fell into a small pool of water.
He shook his head as Jaikus stubbornly answered his question. Emryc grinned at the other man, “Serves you right, Jaikass,” He called out, quite pleased with himself with the play on words. The half Sephi almost opened his mouth to tell the Axxilan that laying on grass with a white shirt was a bad idea, but it was no doubt going to provide entertainment later. Emryc instead glanced over to the side to look at the skies and the dying light. He knew they needed to gather firewood for the camp, and he mentally began to go through a checklist. The stars and moon were bright enough to where they would still have light, but it could get cool later.
Emryc’s line of thinking was completely dashed as Jaikus shoved against him out of the blue. As he had been blankly staring off in another direction for a moment, he was easily toppled backwards. The half Sephi blinked up at Jaikus curiously, feeling the other man tug him closer. For a moment he could only focus on how the dying rays of the sun kissed the man’s bronze skin, and the way the citrines glinted with fire even with the emeralds hovering beneath the surface. He half expected this to be part of a prank, but most of him wished it wasn’t this time.
He grinned faintly at the man’s words before Jaikus leaned forth to toy with his lip, sending a jolt through his entire body. Emryc’s hand had been loosely resting against his side from the topple. He brought it up along Jaikus’ thigh, sliding up along his rear far more confidently than he had in the hospital. He didn’t stop there, moving up to slip beneath the back of Jaikus’ grass stained shirt to glide up his smooth lower back. His fingers pressed into the slight curve and his spine, grasping at the man possessively.
Emryc’s other hand came up to curl into the back of Jaikus head, breaking away from his lips to trace light kisses along the side of his jaw. He pulled the man’s head closer as he kissed towards his ear, pausing to teasingly run his tongue along the outer shell of it before biting on the lobe. He spoke after that, the low baritone rumbling close to his ear as his hot breath brushed over the cool sensation left along the skin, “I don't mind your bullshit so much.”
