The Imperial Guard will pretty much cover most of the IK's military, especially the non-FS aspects. It'll include our near insignificant naval strength, which at the current time is only one Star Destroyer and whatever ships people brought with them when they fled from the Empire.

The final lieutenant position will be leader of the Imperial Guard. As this position is not yet been filled, I've brought in Will, the de facto IG leader (he's currently the highest ranking member at this time), to help us out here. While he won't be given mod powers, he's still a great asset to help us out with.

The Imperial Guard

The Imperial Guard composes the remnants of the Emperor’s House Guard, a regiment of Storm Troopers tasked with ensuring the security of the Emperor’s various residences. Before the purge thousands of Storm Troopers served in the Emperor’s House Guard. Most of them stayed loyal to the Empire and even more resigned their commission.

A small number of Troopers, however, joined arms with Knight-Commander Peller, and it was only through the skill and devotion to the true Empire that any of the Knights survived the purge. Many died in the desperate run, until only two hundred men and women were left standing.

They travelled with Peller until they discovered the Sith’s Folly and were able to settle. These men and women have proven a valuable asset to the Imperial Knights, allowing the Knights a level of operation they were formerly incapable of.

Hierarchy

The Imperial Guard still retains the old pre-Sith Storm Trooper rank structure, although the vast majority of Troopers fall in the lower echelon and there exists no Trooper of the rank of Brigadier or Field Marshal. These ranks are kept as a staunch reminder of what has been lost and what the Imperial Guard is fighting for.

High-level division
• Field Marshal
• Brigadier
• Colonel
Mid-level division
• Major
• Captain
• Lieutenant
Low-level division
• Sergeant
• Corporal
• Trooper

Recruitment

The Imperial Knights recruit any willing man or woman with a fighting spirit to their ranks if they show a sensitivity to the force. Those who are not force sensitive are brought to the Imperial Guard where they undergo a vicious boot camp before being christened a member of the Guard and an ally of the true Empire.

I think that that rank list is a good one, and doesn't need any significant changes. We might want to add a minor navy faction, but nothing higher than Captain I think for that. We also might want to see if any Imperial Rebels would rather defect to the Imperial Knights rather than the Galactic Alliance...? I donno, though, just a random thought.

I tried, but it sounds like Jiang is kinda protective/greedy with his rebels, so we'd have to go by him.

I think Xael is a character that we should look into and pay attention to. Aluminum is a good rper, and is quite active. If we give him something to do with that character, he might attract more to the Guard. Make friends, meet aquantences, or make deals that branch out our hands. The more he does, the more we deligate to him, the more he'll get others involved in some way and deligate to them as they will desire to contribute to our cause.

I will see what I can come up with.

Also, I think we would do well to differentiate ourselves from the Republic. Otherwise, why would others wish to leave one group for the same thing under different leadership? I'm thinkin we show ourselves as heavy hitters and a grittier bunch compared to the GA's soldiers. We know the Empire and its workings well from the inside. The GA does not. I'm thinkin we might even be able to start a false group, a false interest in defecting from the IK and even the GA to the Empire (which might bring interest from the Ga to the IK in hopes of joining this calling). Or maybe start givin out some suicide missions, not in terms of jumpin into a Sith base but rather Basilliscin'-it into an Empire's prison facility or solo/duo bombing a government building just for the hell of it and making rubble out of their structure/their government. Demoralize their system, show them what a pain in the ass we are and spread their focus in all directions. We can make them vaguely vulnerable.

Just some ideas...

The problem is that now with the Imperial Rebels, the GA now has such knowledge. Even more, since we've been out of contact with the Empire for nine years, they would have more useful knowledge.

Hm, I think it's time we kidnap ourselves a Grand Admiral or Grand General. :CHappy
