I just made a character after reading the faction and seeing what it is like, I fell in love with it instantly it sounds super cool and amazing I would love to see a moment where every member of the order stands together to fight like a huge group of Sith

Some of you folks might have noticed I've been writing blog pages, expanding on the Matukai. On the front page, I'm going to place the whole collection of them, so they're easier to get ahold of and everyone can see what's there to look at. You'll also get some indications of upcoming blogs that are yet-to-be released. In whole, we'll just call them the Matukai Chronicles.

Also, some of ya'll might (or might not) have noticed that Raze Houser is listed in an upcoming chronicles. Reason being, he died a pretty darn heroic death in sacrificing himself for others during the attack on Karvoss. This is a precedence; if a Matukai character has a superb accomplishment, such as a sacrifice that saves many, defeating a powerful enemy, consistently proves to be a successful war leader (ie, win a lot of battle threads where you're in the lead), etc., then you might see your character's name pop up in a future Chronicle entry :p

Awesomesauce! Expect big things for Ar'Rhan to come... I've actually been working on a Mission Pack for the Matukai that I planned on NPCing for. I figured I'd alleviate all the stress from your shoulders Kaspyon, though each mission would need to be approved by you first. Along with some classes that I plan on releasing upon his ascension to Adept that will involve elements to provide character development and open up potential story-lines on some worlds desperately in need of a helping hand. These will be focused on Force Powers, Martial Prowess, and helping to instill the Creed of the Matukai into its members.

Either way, all of this will be passed your way before I post any of it for an approval process. Not trying to step on any toes or anything, I'm just wanting to help this faction flourish.

Actually, I was about to make an announcement on that. Funny timing.

ANNOUNCEMENT Okay, so you guys might have noticed that the Matukai are growing. I'm going to be totally honest right now; I really never expected this to take off, least of all in the way it has. I was fully prepared to be the only Matukai around, and made (what I partially expected to become an archived entry) the main Matukai page as a sort of reference page for myself. After all, I was a new guy (in all frankness, everywhere I've been, new people usually don't get this kinda support by the online community) and the interest check thread didn't get a single bite. Now there's three Matukai centric missions going on now, and there were even offers being made to this indie faction that I didn't even know about, which will apparently conclude with us gaining another member. In short (and with my own inexperience added in), I'm barely handling everything that's going on. So, my solution! If anyone is willing, I'd totally welcome any help offered. Do you like NPCing? Or writing up missions? Maybe you have lore entry ("Chronicle") ideas? Perhaps you like teaching lil' Matukai on fighting or Force usage? Or even that you like talking philosophy with new recruits? Or maybe you're just one of those folks that like to help out with whatever needs are big at the moment? Well, all are welcome now, and I'm officially asking lol! And if you're not sure about something or you have questions, feel free to PM me! ​

As I stated in my previous post, I'll be bringing some Classes and Missions to the public. These will be offered to anyone, not exclusive to the Matukai, in an effort to broaden our reach in the galaxy and help spread the word of our cause.

The missions will be... well Missions. They will consist of subterfuge, front-line assaults, sabotage, and many more areas.

While the classes will be along two different fronts... a more class type setting and real-world scenarios. Jedi/Rebels/Matukai/etc. Will be able to join to learn aspects of what make us, well us.

Along with that, I'm hoping to have Ar'rhan become sort of an artisan. Someone whom helps to craft the armor and weapons of the order.

Besides that, I'm offering myself up to NPC for any Matukai related thread if needed. For instance, if Kaspyon isn't available you're welcome to contact me.

Well guess I should offer some help, Kaspyon if you need anything just ask I think I can do some of the chronicle stuff maybe I can also handle talking with the other indie faction leaders see if we can't make a small coalition for battling evil or maybe just so we can help the Jedi/rebels in there war against the Sith

Also carnage your first request my character needs a Wan Shen please build him one, pretty please

Benvenu, perhaps in the closing posts of He who Fights Monsters... we'll bring up the topic ICly. Triton giving Ar'Rhan a description of just want he is looking for in his Wan-Shen.

Or perhaps along with the classes/missions that I'll be offering, I'll start an Artisan's Workshop thread that requests van be dropped off ICly. That way, while I don't mind Ar'Rhan crafting the piece the owner will be present to Imbue the weapon with their force signature. That after all is an important aspect of the process.

I'm sure you mentioned it in the write up, I'm at work atm so I can't give it as detailed a read through as I wish, but is it possible to join the Matukai in an official capacity if one is not born into their legion?

I have a character I've been working on that would fit most of their ideals but her concept isn't really tuned into her being in the Order from birth.

From my understanding, yes. That would be permitted, depending upon the situation she/he would become a full member or a Disciple. Depending upon her allegiance and wishes.

If she/he wished to be a full member, then yes. As long as they were willing to take upon their ideals. If she/he wished to simply align herslef with us and learn from us, but remain loyal to another faction of similar mindset... then she/he would be a Disciple.

At least that was my understanding. If I'm wrong, Kaspyon will correct me.
