There Ryuku was, in the one place where many people could find him and yet few actually disturbed him. In the Shop. Just beside one of the science labs where one learned all sorts of unique things. There he was, looking down to a small black globe, whose top was undone and revealed many different lines in and out of the small machine. It was clear that he was actually able to understand this quite well as his hand danced over the programming station that he created at the temple, and then with the tools that he needed to get the job done. “Now all we have to do is tap into the computer program, and configure the hover protocols… yes, we’re making progress, yes we’re making progress!” Yes it was true, he was somewhat of a mad scientist.

But when he heard something coming from the window, he turned his gaze to regard it and then he eyed his work. Sighing he stood up and then moved towards said window, looking to close it. However when he peered down towards the ground, just a simple glance something happened. His grip tightened around the window ledge. His pulse quickened, his pupils dilated, his breathing quickened. Sweat began to drip down from his temples, and his ears blocked out all noise except for a strange noise that came in just thump, thump. And his eyes watched as the ground as it seemed to drop away from him, though in all actuality the distance never changed. He didn’t know what this was, but he knew the feeling alright. Fear. A terrible fear. He mind and emotions swayed with what he experienced. The Force around him became disrupted.

Rehni had waited for her padawan to show. But from what she saw, there was no relying on him to follow through any instruction unless it was of his own. She already had a pick of his force signature as she followed it through the halls. She could feel he was very focused, one-tracked minded at the moment. She would have to work on that with him in his training. This thought made the young Knight smirk, she couldn't even keep her mind on a single track still...

She entered the room undetected, she could see him as well as sense the young man's emotions, she thought it was odd, fear...her attention caught a device sitting on the work bench. She picked it up with the Force and easily taking out wire by wire and setting them down on the table. She continued until her student will realize her presence in the room.

Was oblivious to everything around him, the distance between him and the ground that he stared out outside was enough for the master to pick up on one crucial thing… He was afraid of heights. A fear that was practically improbable, and yet, there he was, stuck in a hell of his own making. Not intentional, however extremely un-welcomed. And thus as the strain of his tensed body took it’s toll, his knees gave way and he dropped from the sight that plagued him. To stare only at the wlal in front of him. Releasing a breathe of air that he hadn’t know he had been holding in, he slowly began to retain control of his bodily functions. The breathing to him tasted like a sweet liquor.

But that was when realization dawned upon him. He wasn’t alone. Turning his head swiftly around, he looked towards the woman in front of him and then he groaned as he slid into a sitting position and rested his back against the wall while he rested his forehead against his knees, thoroughly embarrassed. “I’m Late. Aren’t I?” Ryuku mumbled out, and then he sighed and shook his head before he looked towards the window and then hit a button from where he sat. The Window slid shut and then darkened the room, allowing artificial light come forth. And then he just shook his head before he slowly stood up, stretching, his back and knees cracking, before he looked towards the master. “I do apologize for that..... So, Master Old Lady, What do we work on first?” He asked with a chuckle, covering up his fear and what had just happened and witnessed with a simple joke.

Rehni didn't acknowledge him calling her an old lady, she simply continued to tinker with his device as she spoke. "Extremely lates ising you." she told him, "But I did notting expects yous to be on the time." she went silent for a moment, "Notting very good hiding yours emotions." the Knight put down his now hallowed device and went to the window where he sat beneath. She waived her hand and the window opened back up letting in the natural light, "Beautifuls right?" she looked down smiling then took her gaze back to the window looking out over the temple.

Had then noticed that she had been tinkering with the device upon his work bench and he had been glad that the computer had been programmed with a Auto-save. So therefore his work was intact, if only that it would be taking twenty minutes to get to due to security over-rides and all sorts of other security protocals to access it. What could he say, if the research, and hobby mind you, got in the hands of the hutts, they may be able to advance their own weapons. Turning his head to look out the window from where he then stood, he shook his head before he looked towards it, not bothering to look down. “Like a Painting… Take a picture, Master. It‘ll last longer.” He stated to her with a smile and then he looked towards the black orb upon it, and then he looked towards his master.

And then a thought occurred to him. Ryuku‘s head snapped towards that of his masters head and he blinked towards her. “Wait a cotton picking minute here…… You predicted that I wouldn’t be on time?” he stated shaking his head lightly. “Damn that woman’s intuition that you have… I hope you can‘t mass produce that thing!” he exclaimed before he moved towards the computers, powering them down. And then he looked towards his master and chuckled. “Well Master, what is our first order of business.”

"Padawan, coming here. Pictures capturing computers seeing, whats ising you seeing?" she asked him as he walked away from the window to work on his programing, "Coming heres and looks." she told him with a commanding tone in her voice. She knew about his fear, it was actually quite know amongst the elder Jedi, and for anyone jedi or not, a hard fear to hide. And for this Knight, it was not a fear she wanted her students to have.

Had heard the Commanding voice that the master had used, and he just inwardly groaned. But, even he knew better than to cross them on direct orders. So when the powerdown was completed, he turned and looked from her to the window, and then back to her. And then slowly he moved forwards towards the window. His own personal torment. And thus he stopped just a foot away from the window and peered forwards through it's gateway. He saw the cobble stones, the statues, the trees and such. However to him in his frame of mind right then and there, it seemed more like a motion painting than anything else. "I'm seeing... green plants. Looks like the wind's shifting. Storms on the way. I like the rain.... hmmm. I know what this place is missing. A good orange tree... Think the council will let us plant one?" He commented. And then he looked towards his master and then towards the window, and he sighed.

He knew where she wanted him to look.

And thus, he hesitantly took that next step forwards, but his eyes refused to look down. And then the wind brought forth the moisture, breathing in, he smiled and nodded his head, a sort of contement flowing through his form. One that allowed him to close his eyes and ease up. "yeah. Storms on the way." He finished, breathing in the wet wind. However when he opened his eyes, he was staring down to a place where he didn't want to look, but found that he began to freeze up once again.

The knight placed her hand on his shoulder, she could feel his nerves pump the unnecessary fear in him. Rehni responded by sending soothing pulses through the Force to calm his nerves, "Whys you can notting looking down?" she asked looking down herself.

Felt the calm wash over him, and it did wonders though the fear was there. Sighing he shook his head, before he rubbed the back of his neck. That was a long story. Turning away from the window again, he leaned upon the window's ledge, not bothering to look back to it. "That's a bit of a long Story Master. On one of my first months at the Temple, Some of the Younglings who qualified were allowed to go off on a bit of a outdoors adventure. Commune with Nature and The Force, learn how to set up emergency shelters, look at hunting game and such." He stated looking down towards his work station longingly before he sighed. She had the right to know.

"It was supposed to be for a couple of days. There were several masters looking over the exercise, while pages who qualified were allowed to take the younglings out. Myself and another, A blue skinned idiot by the name of Du'gar, set out one morning. Sometime in the afternoon on the second day, he set me the task of mapping the area from over head, to see what could be seen and to get a accurate location of where we were in terms of everything else.... Turns out that the Force didn't very well like me to much that day. A storm was blowing in, and from where he stood, he couldn't see the dark clouds swirling. But by the time I got to the top of the tree I was climbing to look around, the wind had picked up. I had enough time for one quick glance at the area around me before the wind picked me up and away from the trunk. I fell...... A long ways, and hit every branch on the way down. He had apparently been calling to me to come down, but I couldn't hear him. So no, He wasn't the devil. No, I just ended up staying two weeks in the I.C.U area of the temple, and I've had problems with Heights ever since... and I think that's the last time they ran the program to." Ryuku stated, shrugging his shoulders lightly.

Ryuku Just chuckled and shook his head, watching her peer out the window from the corner of his eye. He had seen enough. “It’s in our line of Work, master.” Ryuku replied simply enough. And then when she asked him about the warning of the Force, his brow went up. “What? Like something about to strike me from behind? Or that someone put ladies perfume on my shirt and I don’t know about it until it’s to late.” He commented before he shook his head. “I can avoid collisions and being shot if I need to be. Does that Answer the question?” He asked with a grin.

Stopping when she spoke to him about that, he thought about it, before he looked towards the window once again. “Well….. I suppose the only up side to this deal is that your going to be there to catch me when the blood drains from my head…. Now please… A applause. For my Dungeon awaits.” Ryuku stated, applying a more mourning sort of tone to his voice, but the smile never leaving his face. Evidently a joke. And then he walked over, peered up at the ceiling. And took several deep breathes. He did not like this. And then with just a one heave, his arms dragged his upper half forwards and then he looked down towards the ground. Straight down the building and right where it was grounded. And then the nerves shot up, the fear came to be. He knew what she was trying to do. She was trying to get him to force his fear down so that way it would not cripple him. But what was the next step!? He didn’t know. But he remembered something about the Force. The Force. What about it? Was it there? Was it telling him something? No It wasn’t. It was Rippling, but it didn’t seem to be anything threatening. In fact it seemed almost soothing. But why was it rippling. And then it came to be a soft drizzle landed against the back of his head. Enough for him to raise his eyes up from the ground to look up at the clouded sky The Moisture quickly blanketed any dust that came from the ground. A smell that he breathed in deeply. “The Rain.” Ryuku stated, a calm smile coming to his face. It was going to be a slow process. But he would never be comfortable..

"I cans feeling yours emotions, overcoming you willing. I's wanting you to works on its." she instructed him pleased he did come and look down out the window. She moved away and closed the window to prevent the rain from coming inside, "Comes, more works to doing." she instructed him and beckon him to follow her to the training room.

The room was quite plain, there was nothing but a large window that faced the gardens and a medium box containing some training supplies. "Sensing, you are quite proficient as seeing you looks out the window just nows. Just needing to trust it." she pulled out a blindfold and handed it to him, "Puts it on and listen to the Force, avoids distraction, focusing on me." she instructed.

Ryuku just bowed his head, hiding his somewhat red face while he scratched the back of his head. Evidently he was proud that he had pleased her, but embarrassed at the compliment. “Stop it Master, your embarrassing me.” He replied, and then when she instructed him that there was more work to be done, he nodded as he moved towards a jug of juice that he had, poured himself a quick glass and downed it immediately, and then jogged to catch up to her. Something to counter act the dry mouth that near fainting episodes caused.

And then he heard her words of wisdom about how in tune his senses were with the force and his ability to trust it. Yeah…. He liked technology a bit better than relying upon the force to much. To him if one relied on one sense to long, it became a crutch. And crutches got people killed. Of course though, that didn’t explain why he didn’t trust it. Why was it? Something to ask one of the training masters about if and when he ever met them. Turning his head to look towards the Master and then down towards the blindfold. “This is a time when I wished my eyes had nightlights.” He joked as he took it with out hesitation and slid it on over his eyes. “So…. When do we start?”

The Knight finished explaining, then waited for her padawan to accomplish the task.

Looked towards the sound of the voice that was there just in front of him and he nodded his head towards her. “Okay… Your there, about five feet in front of me.” He stated as he reached out and touched her shoulder. And then he heard the sound of the rain once again. One of the portals had opened. Slowly moving forwards he shook his head towards the portal. Ryuku moved forwards and then through said portal. Spreading his arms, he rose them up feeling the drops of water splatter against his form. To what he was doing out there? Well. Believe it or not, he believed that his master wanted him to focus. To Test him. So he had intentionally turned to the water that was there, dropping upon his body, allowing his focus to drift. Also he was wanting to test himself, to see where and how he could improve with the force.
