Making a Knight of Nero Anclicus

The young Knight Rehni Feher Tak'n had spent several days on watch of her new padawan. She wanted to make sure she would be the right individual to take the young man into her care. She had watched him from afar, meditating, interacting with others, as well what he did in his free time around the temple. A data file could only give so much insight on an individual.

It took her less than a week to make her decision to take him as her padawan. She had briefly introduced herself to him and gave him instruction to meet her today in the training room she now stood in.

Nero had remembered that the young Jedi, a woman named Rehni had specifically asked him to meet up with her in the training room. The Temple on Ossus was a big place, alot bigger than he'd thought, but he was NOT going to be late. She was a Jedi, but that didn't mean he didn't risk being chewed out if he didn't show on time.

"Great, just fantastic! Where's the OH there it is!" he muttered to himself. He was rushing down the corridor in a nervous jog as he found the sign reading TRAINING to his left. He was through the door faster than was necessary, and he didn't take long to notice that people were watching him.

Ears and face red from embarrassment, Nero took a deep breath and brushed himself off, even though that was a completely useless action as his clothes didn't have a spec of dust on them. He looked around the room, and spotted Rehni Feher Tak'n in no time.

"I guess I arrived early after all, wait, no, that's me thinking backwards. If I'd arrived before her she wouldn't be here..." he sighed inwardly. Now was no time to be nervous. And when he was nervous, he thought backwards. He strode over to her and bowed. "Hello again, I hope I didn't keep you waiting..." he said quickly.

"Notting waiting longs at all, I didn't thinks I would either, yours eagerness lasting all weeks and perhaping all next week toos." she said feeling his presence radiating with excitement and anxiety. "Firsts, telling me about you, I onlys knowing so muches from observation and files." asked the Knight, and she had truth to it, nothing beat an introduction like a bio from the person you want to know about from their own words. She liked to see if her observations would contradict what the padawan thought of himself.

Nero stood up straight again and was silent for a moment. His mouth was open for several seconds before he spoke, all the while, thinking about what to say. There was alot he could say, but he wasn't sure. "Well... I was born in Coruscant, and my father didn't like the Jedi, at least from what I remember. I wish I'd know him for a little while but, I guess you can't have it all right?" he asked, and shrugged his shoulders. His face didn't feel very warm anymore, and he was beginning to feel a little less edgy. "Anyway, I'm not sure what was on my file, so I can't tell you for certain anything you don't already know... but just for future lessons, I try to keep my impatience and temper in check whenever something bugs me. Everyone used to criticize me for it when I was a kid." he explained, and brushed his gray-blonde hair out of his eyes.

"Thens wes willing work on meditation." she said taking a seat and gestured him to do the same also, "Clearing of the mind, giving you a more deeper insight to wahys yours finding. Its alsoing allowing yous to developing senses." she instructed him.

Nero sat in a seat opposite her, as he was instructed. "What kind of senses?" he asked.

"Heres a testing." she told him pulling out a blindfold and handing it to Nero, "Putting its on and finding me." she instructed him, "Finding me ins the Force."

Nero did as he was told, and wrapped it over his eyes so he couldn't see. Everything was blank for the time being, well, that's the only word he could describe it with. He heard everything around him, but he still couldn't see.

"Just gotta figure this out..." he thought, and waited there, trying to will the Force to 'find her' in his mind. After several moments, however, he felt this instinct, he wasn't sure how to describe it. It was as if he recognized her presence by that specific feeling, even if he hadn't already been aware that she was sitting in front of him, he would have known.

"I'm beginning to feel something, I think..." he said after a few minutes.

"Trusting it padawan, telling me what you feels." replied the Knight, she knew it was a difficult task for one to first accomplish, but once achieved it get easier to grasp it every time one uses it.
