Maddie grew up as an orphan of the stars. She was born aboard a freighter to a refugee of the local conflict. The freighter was boarded shortly after her birth and she was immediately separated from her mother. As she was left behind a cargo container, she was found by the daughter of the captain and reluctantly raised with her on the freighter. She was named Mad by the captain because she was a very upset child that he blamed on the parents abandoning her. Mad became Maddie and she was raised on the freighter and learned the ropes of piloting, mechanics, and trade all while she grew up.
At the age of 18, Maddie decided to go out on her own. While in port, she decided to join the ranks of the local security force to get some experience and credits under her belt. when joining, the recruiter asked for her last name and when she said she did not have one, he asked what ship she came in on, and she replied the "Dawnstar" which in turn was entered as her last name.
Her time served in the security force was brief as they downsized their reserves and forces. However, her time there was priceless in terms of her future as she was allowed to pilot one of the security forces starfighters. While the security force was downsizing its personnel, it also needed to downsize its military assets and began to scrap their bigger and older ships and sell some of their starfighters on the open market. Maddie saw and opportunity to use her saved credits and take out a small loan to buy one of these starfighters.
After working as a gun for hire conscript for the now short handed security force, Maddie was barely able to pay off her loan and fill up her ships fuel tank. She set off to the stars to make a name for herself.

Maddie is a smart girl full of wisdom that she is not afraid to share with those who are interested. She only fully trusts a handful of people and usually tests those who try to enter the circle on many levels. If she was described by her friends, they would caller her a smart, feisty, yet loyal individual.

BIOGRAPHYBoth Jim and Fin come from similar backgrounds. Both turned mercenaries and pirates after their former dealings did not pan out for them
PERSONALITY & TRAITSJim is an excellent gunner and decent pilot when the need arises. He excels with blaster rifles over pistols but can hold his ground with the later. Fin is also a good gunner but he is better suited as a co-pilot. He prefers double wielding blaster pistols and does not get in many long distance fights to need a blaster rifle but is somewhat accurate with them.
