DESCRIPTION
The Lucrehulk-Class of ship was originally designed to be the workhorse of the Trade Federation's Merchant Fleet and was designed to haul truly massive amounts of cargo across the Galaxy. Typically paired with a droid workforce but not exclusively, the Lucrehulk-Class ships were actually made exclusively for the Trade Federation in the build up to the Clone Wars. Some were modified into battle droid control ships for the Invasion of Naboo but the most common configuration, even at the height of the Clone Wars, was the standard freighter configuration as it was used to continue their trade efforts as well as sometimes being brought in for military duty. Many freighter Lucrehulk-Class ships were used in blockades, such as the one employed on Christophsis.

As the bulk freighter of choice for a Galactic-wide trade federation, the Lucrehulk-Class was made with a high specification hyperdrive but low sub-light speeds so as to keep the cargo more secure. However, as they were high value targets for pirates and unsavory sorts even before the Clone Wars, the Lucrehulk-Class freighters were armed with a large array of Quad Laser Cannons that were effective against small and medium sized ships. A deflector shield was also added to ensure the safety of the cargo.

In it's original state as a freighter, the Lucrehulk-Class has several 'hangers' but these were designed only to be entry points to the cargo itself and smaller freighters that would ferry it to nearby planets. Other configurations used these openings as more traditional hangers as the storage space was sacrificed to convert the ships into warships in truth. Though a large number of the ship were manufactured prior to (and during) the Clone Wars, through attrition in the war and stigma that surrounded them after the war, they are not currently manufactured anymore. However, due to their massive production run and their high specs (at the time), Lucrehulk-Class ships can still be found in the Galaxy today in the possession of trading companies across the Galaxy.

LEGALITY
Trading Licence required. Due to the number of weapons, the deflector shield and it's sheer size, the Lucrehulk-Class of freighters is not illegal - but it is illegal to operate one without a specialist licence granted by either the New Republic of the FWA. Certain systems, such as Christophsis and Naboo, may not care about the legality however due to previous bad experiences.

INTENT
To bring a canon ship to the site that can be used as anything from a mobile faction asset/base, a very slow capital ship or a transport so large that it showcases the scale of a business/company/drive yard/organisation.

RESTRICTIONS
LH-3210 Cargo Freighters can carry a huge amount of cargo, and are not ideal for personal ownership at all as they are much more expensive to maintain and operate and their crew requirements are much higher. They are typically faction assets, although they could also serve as the focal point of a player run business venture of sufficient size and scope.
