MusicCoruscant, Mid levels
1523 local time

His eyes darted from building to building, then to the speeders whizzing by below and above them. The hustle and bustle of city-planet life was similar to Dromund Kaas, but there was just something different in the air here. It was also his first time here, and one of his first expeditions in a long time. Last he'd been off-world doing something had been with his parents when he accompanied his dad on military missions. Until that.

"Yooooo," he mumbled under his breath as he stared through the window of the waiting room in the port they were in as the bus prepared. "This shit's cooool." He was concentrated on the city outside, and there was a great amount of people there, so Luc didn't notice when the group passed him by and headed down to the bus. He didn't notice as they announced last call, and his absence would be noted too late, when they did roll call halfway on the way there and they realized they're missing a student.

He realized all of this as he whirled around on his heel, only to find that there were no familiar faces in his vicinity. For a moment, he was about to panic, but then Luc remembered they'd told them the number of the bus in case they got lost and needed to meet up with the rest of the class there. So he checked the boards, and found that it had left about 8 minutes ago.

"Oh fuck," he said quietly. "Oh shit. I'm gonna die on Coruscant. This is it." He looked around frantically, but despair slowly set in over him as he realized the search was fruitless. They were all gone. He balled his hand into a fist and then just sat down straight on the floor, back leaning against the window.

Finn stepped out of the gaming parlor with a wide grin on his face. His hands were full of swag he had won, his pockets were full of datachips loaded with a bunch of retro games he had been dying to get his hands on for ages, and he was pretty sure he had sealed a collab with CoruGal, easily the biggest streamer on Coruscant. Slipping away from the group to check out the event that was happening in the parlor had been a brilliant idea, and convinced him that he ought to follow his own lead more often in the future.

Humming to himself, he wandered through the streets till he reached the rendezvous point, idly scanning the crowd for the others. It was supposed to an undercover trip, to get the acolytes exposure to enemy territory without openly announcing Sith presence, so there weren't going to be any big signs painted "Sith Field Trip Here", so he had made a point to remember a few faces so that he could find them when he slipped back from the event. But he was unable to spot anyone, and was beginning to panic just a little bit till he finally spotted someone he recognized.

Feeling a little more relaxed, he moved through the crowd till he came to a stop in front of Luc. "Yo!" He greeted his fellow acolyte as he dropped the bags full of swag on the floor next to him. Even though it wasn't particularly heavy, Finn wasn't particularly strong. So his arms already felt a little tired. As he rolled his shoulders, he tried to remember the acolyte's name, before giving up. "Where is everyone? Don't tell me they're late, I'm gonna be so tilted if I left early for no reason whatsoever."

Luc was snapped out of his thoughts by one of the Acolytes he'd seen on the shuttle. His face raised, head craned up to see the source of the sound, his heart skipped a beat as he realized that maybe the group hadn't left, and this guy had been sent to pick him up. Luc raised himself to his feet and smoothed down the wrinkles in his shirt. The new arrival dropped his bags on the floor and spoke just as he was about to open his mouth. "Huh?"

Disappointment flooded through him. It was another idiot just like him, except this guy had gone shopping. For a moment, he just stood there, looking at him. "They're gone, bro. The shuttle left already." Luc looked around at the emptying port. There was a lull, a drop in action as the next shuttle came in two hours. Only problem was that it didn't lead back to Dromund Kaas. It lead to Toydaria, and the Acolytes really had nothing to do there.

Luc thought for a moment. What were their options? He didn't know whether the Empire would be sending a ship just for them, so it was entirely likely they'd have to find their way back. "Maaan, I don't wanna be a fucking dishwasher to pay the ticket back," he moaned, rubbing a palm over his face. "W--"

"Ey, you kids lost?" a gruff voice spoke up behind them. Luc glanced to the other Acolyte and then whirled around to face the stranger. A long-faced Chevin greeted him with a tip of the wide-brimmed hat he wore, his beady little eyes set on Luc, then on Finn, then back.

"No." The word snapped out, flying from his mouth before he could even think of a response.

"Look pretty lost to me. I can help out if you need some creds. No dishwashing."
