Looking to build a saber

My character Clara Lighthawk is looking to make a lightsaber. She is an Indie, so she isn't part of the Order. She has had Jedi training from her father Clovis, but he was exiled some 20 years ago. He had gone too far into the dark side and now it seems Clara is also going that way. So these could be some interesting character development places if we keep roleplaying, since I'm hoping to not just do some one thread and be done. I'm always looking for new people to bring into Clara's life.

Either way, she needs someone to show her how to make a lightsaber. Who can help her?

The trial of finding a Lightsaber Crystal is no easy task. You would need to venture to the caves of Ilum first. @Kibagami Do you know how finding a lightsaber crystal goes? @EmilyHuene (You could go to any other cave, like the ones on Dantooine or Moraband, but those are even more dangerous, not to mention the Sith would not take kind to anyone trying to enter the Moraband Caves)

I can ask. I will see if I can accompany you, fit this after my mission on Mandalore. If we don't get shot down on entry and manage to land without alerting every Sith in the immediate vicinity... Might be smarter to head to Tython. Overgrown jungle world with saber crystals abound...

Something tells me sending an untrained Force-user to a Dark Side tomb planet whose sister planet is Korriban is not a smart idea.

I wasn't going to bother with that, she has a lightsaber so I assumed she has a crystal inside it so no need to get another one. If she wants another then fine, they're not hard to get.

Ah, I was going by your profile. By "Saber" you mean Sabre and not Lightsaber. Gotcha. ;)

@Kibagami I believe she wants to make a lightsaber for her character, who is currently using a sword. And as I recall lightsaber crystals aren't exactly easy to find either
