Lucien let the girl lead the way to what he hoped would be an at least workable ship. Not that he minded, but it seemed that almost all smuggler buckets were in a barely working or degrading state. Including his onw Valentine.

Kaylee smiled and stopped in front of an old smuggler freighter. It was gray and battered, but it had never let her down. It had been her fathers and it had been left to her.

"I think mine will work fine, but thanks for the criticism"

Lucien was shortly on her tail. He didn't plan to leave too much distance between the two. If she was planning anything he wanted to be within striking range or so that her own trap might get her aswell. The ship may have been battered but it did remind him of the Valentine.
