The sun was sitting high in the clear blue sky, beaming down on all below it. A gentle breeze blew threw the tree's cooling the air to what seemed like the perfect temperature. The young jedi Nagisa sit, cross legged with eye's closed, in the shade of a large tree at the edge of the forest. Deeply indulged in her meditation, she paid no mind to the small lizard scurrying about, seemingly bored from the activities. Though she would remain, the daily meditations help her deal with memories and ghosts haunting her from her past, and she feared if she stopped she might start down a slope she did not want to see the end of.

Something grabbed her attention midway threw her daily meditation though, something that felt, almost familiar. Curious the expanded her awareness around her trying to pinpoint this presence. Her mind cautiously moved towards it in both curiosity and cautiousness, she felt like she had met this person before, but there was drastic differences that she did not recognize at the same time. Reaching out with the force she tried to coax the presence to where she was meditating without projecting her voice to it. She found inspiring curiosity was a much better method for getting people to follow the tickling presence prodding at them rather then speaking to them threw the force, as they usually tried to keep their distance and make conversation that way, which was still rather exhausting for the young jedi.

There had been much on the Jedi's mind as he paced through the dense foliage that made of Alderaan. His legs carrying him to no specific destination, it was his thoughts that carried him; he was lost in them at the moment. There was a decision that had to be made, and it was one he had hoped to not make before speaking with the man he betrayed so long ago. His father.

His thoughts had lingered on the man for long as of late, wondering where he was taken to. His first thoughts were to speak with the Grandmaster, the last to see him; but he felt that'd get him no where. If word was true the former man had twisted to the corruption of the darkside just as Caed had only months prior. His thoughts began to pass when something pulled at his presence, hinting at him to come closer.

"Hmm...-"

His eyes looks skyward for a moment, wondering if the thoughts he was having and this disturbance were in some way connected. Looking to his hip his eyes looked over his newly created lightsaber. Should it be needed, anyone would know he would be one to use it with little hesitation.

His feet would take lead once more, his body going into a Force aided sprint. The distance between the younger Padawan and himself dividing in seconds. As he grew near the obvious signature of a Jedi in training grew stronger. His pace would slow, and he'd find himself coming to a stop near a young woman; a stranger to him.

"Who are you?"

His voice was deep and cold, yet it had a touch of warmth to it; much like his father's. The look he carried was far different, but pieces of his face hinted at those of the elder Ultor. His height was taller and his weight far less, a nimbler man. His eyes narrowed on the girl as if to say you're wasting my time, but his posture remained firm; awaiting an answer.

Nagisa sat patiently as she felt the presence move towards her a lot quicker then she had expected it to. Nevertheless she remained and continued her meditation. A man appeared in the distance after a few moments and she examined him from under her hood, raising a brow slightly at his greeting.

"Nagisa Takai, That is a rather interesting greeting you have for your first time meeting someone." she said with a slightly entertained tone of voice.

Yin hissed at the man when he spoke and Nagisa lightly tapped the small lizard on the nose. "Excuse us please Yin." she said to the creature quietly. Yin then gave one more protective hiss before scurrying off into the forest. The young jedi woman then turned her attention back to Caed. "You have a very familiar presence to you, and I think I can see a resemblance of that person..." she said the last part more to herself then to Caed. "It's rather soothing actually..."

Caed had taken a long moment to give the girl a look up and down, she was a curious one. The hiss of the lizard at her side was next to draw him in, his hand naturally rose in defense until the woman gave it a soft tap; a pet. The Force was beckoned to his hand and prepared to reach outward in a choke, but quickly dissipated after Gisa's demeanor towards it. His first outreach had said she was but a Padawan, but her look and demeanor gave off that of a Knight.

"That name-"

He thought about it for a long moment, nothing coming to mind in the least.

"-it means nothing to me..."

The words were as cold as they could be, he meant nothing by it; simply the tone his body had taken on. He looked Bogan, eyes once a hazelnut brown had dwindled to an almost glowing yellow. His skin hadn't quite paled, but the infection of the Darkside was more than apparent. Caed was in control of it all despite his look, but it was a look that many had feared.

"..Apologies... but should I know you?"

Nagisa could not help but smile slightly at the other jedi's comments. "You asked me who I was and I told you, it was not meant to stir up any memories." she said simply, returning to meditating as she talked. She could indeed feel and see the corruption of the darkside in the man, but she did not seem afraid or worried about that fact, she remained nothing but calm and collected.

She remained in silence for a few minutes as if searching for something in her meditation before quickly saying "Ultor is it?" One of her eye's opened and looked at him from under her mask once more, looking for his reaction, since he had not introduced himself yet.

"It is rather rude to ask someones name and not give one in return, how do I know how to address you?" It almost seemed like she was scolding him, but the tone was to friendly for that. She took a deep breath in, slowly exhaling threw her nose. "Such a beautiful day, don't you think?"

His thoughts had begun to dwell on other things, other people, previous "lives." Those thoughts would be shattered to pieces as his name was brought to attention. It came as no surprise to him that she knew it. Many had spoke under their breaths of the former Grandmaster's "dark" son. Hearing his last name only brought a smirk, almost smile, to his face.

She was beginning to become pesky though. A trait he grew impatient of all too quickly, and one he'd care to scare out of her. Gritting his teeth some those narrowed eyes finally relaxed for only a moment, taking in the big picture. With a deep breath his body relaxed, the rage inside swelling some; but control remained evident.

"...Humid if you ask me, a storm is coming..."

His eyes looked upward to the clear blue skies, gray clouds evident in the distance. He had only visited the planet a few times, but he'd never cared for it. It was a beautiful place, but each time a worse memory seemed to grow from it. Peeking back down at the Knight knelt in meditation he licked his lips before breaking the silence.

"What is it you got my attention for anyways, Gisa?"

He cross his arms and as he did so the lightsaber at his hip was pulled to his right hand, the prosthetic. With a clench he held the staff firmly, his eyes focused on the knelt Kiffar. Whomever she was, she knew something more about him, a feeling he felt only enemies held.

A small sigh escaped her lips as she felt his hostility towards her, but it did not seem to phase her at all, instead it seemed to bring about some determination. As his rage began to build inside of him she used a trick her previous master had used when she was in the same situation, and filled the area around them with a calming, hopefully soothing aura. She however was not a master at that yet so she did not know how much it would help.

"Indeed it is... I rather enjoy the rain though..."

She gave him another smile. "You have a lot of anger dwelling in you for a Jedi. And the reason is you reminded me somewhat of my previous Master, Master Rev Ultor, how could I resist the urge to lead you here?" she paused in her speaking for a few moments, seeming to all but ignore that he had grabbed his saber. The yound Kiffar did not believe he would try to strike her down, and if he tried she was confident in her abilities to defend herself.

"I was just curious if you knew his whereabouts, He left without saying anything to me so I wish to find him and speak with him." she said with a hint of sadness.

The girl before him was more skilled in the Force than she allowed herself to believe. Her blank appearance hiding the barrier she had walled them in, a soothing, almost cooling sensation filling the "bubble." His nerves would come if only a little, enough for his showing anger to hide itself; putting that devil inside away from her. He'd take in a breath as his eyes looked skyward once more.

"..It is nice, but the humidity it brings is hell until it is finally gone.."

He'd offer somewhat of a friendly smile to her, then came the mention of his father. Hearing the name immediately pushed more thoughts of the man into Caed's already overflowing mind. Rev was the reason Caed was again in the state of darkness, he'd venture back to the Bogan to save him if it was necessary. Looking at Nagisa for a longer second than he had anticipated he'd take 3 quick steps at her. The distance cutting to inches between the two.

"He's gone, always has been."

The young Knight's voice was colder than usual, he had a love-hate relationship with the man; yet he still would seek him out. In truth Caed had no clue to where the former Grandmaster had gone, this Padawan before him probably knew more of his father than he could ever have learned.

"..I sense he may have fallen to the Darkside... I anticipate following him... Hopefully bringing him back to the Jedi.."

He had thought about his mother at the end of speaking, he had lost her to the Darkside.. He didn't plan on losing another at the same fate.

For now Nagisa decided to let the subject of the weather drop completely, it was irrelevant to the current topic and she only brought it up to make the beginning conversation a little less awkward. The quick movement towards her did catch her off guard slightly and for a very brief moment she thought he was going to attack her, but he did not. She let Caed's words process for a moment before responding to them in a slow, quiet sentence.

"I do not believe he has always been gone, you must care abot him if you are willing to seek him out so."

The next thing he said seemed to cause her some distress. She could not imagine her former Master falling to the darkside, that seemed completely impossible. But, she knew how tempting that path could be herself, and knew it was not wise to underestimate it's influence. "I do not believe following him to the darkside is the wisest decision to bring him back. That will only lead to both yours and his downfall... The darkside is never the answer."

Her eye's opened and she slowly stood up, stretching her stiff muscles slightly to relax them. "I have decided to help you find him, it is my wish to bring him back to the Jedi aswell." She paused for a moment and gave him a stern serious look. "Though I have one condition... you will not use the darkside in this venture. I will help you remain in the light if you wish, be your 'anchor' if you may. But I will not tolerate the acceptance of the darkside."

Caed listened to the girl as she spoke, she had a way of persuasion that was more than evident. What she could never understand about him though, was that he didn't view any of his actions as light nor dark any longer, simply as they were; actions. The view of light and dark was in the eyes of the beholder, something everyone learned at one point or another. His eyes would trace her form as she stood, her subtle stretches causing his eyes to be cast aside to contemplate what she offered.

"I use the Force as any Jedi would, as my ally. The act it is used in is but perception, you will learn that dark acts can bring light and light can bring a darkness unlike any other before it."

He'd turn his back to her and slowly stride away from her, heading back to where he had come from. The lightsaber would fall back to his hip, clipping to the belt as his strides carried him further away from her. His voice would shout back to her in its arrogant tone.

"What makes you think I want... or need your help?"

Nagisa once again carefully though over Caed's words. There was a wisdom in them that only came from experiance, and she gave him a small nod. "I understand what you mean, I just do not want this task to consume one or both of us to the point where we would lose ourselves, that would serve no purpose." She then calmly followed when he started striding away. She would be looking for Rev one way or another, and she would rather have help in the task if she could.

"It seems rather obvious that you do not want my help, I'm sure you can handle yourself quite well..." she hesitated for a brief moment. "What I really wanted was your help... this would be my first mission as a Jedi Knight... and I do not want to come back a failure..." she called back to him. Then she stopped, standing still for a moment, her hands hugged tightly into her chest. Her eye's were peering down at them as the lightly rubbed each other, her uncertainty in her own abilities showing threw for a moment.

"I am afraid I will let everyone down. I do not want that..."

Caed could hear her rambling from behind only partially taking in what she had to say. It wasn't until he heard the soft patter of footsteps behind him that his attention went back to her. Her words brought on thoughts of his own, answers that never quite came out, but could probably be sensed on the surface. It wasn't until she stopped to ask for help that he finally gave her the attention she deserved. It took someone else to ask for help, taking away pride and replacing it with hope. He'd finally stop in his tracks and turn to face Nagisa.

What he was met with he wasn't quite sure how to handle. The fragile Knight was standing in place, holding herself with "care" fear was an evident feeling coming from her body, but for the right reasons. He'd walk towards her, telling himself it was to better hear her words; but in truth it was the Force guiding the two onto a similar path.

"..You're scared, it's a trait the Jedi shun... but it should be a welcomed feeling; at least this time."

He tried to offer her a smile to lighten the mood, pass some guidance.

"It lets you know you're alive, that you're feeling something as opposed to nothing.. The darkside is a unique monster.. The Jedi will tell you to hide your emotions, keep them in control; which you should..."

He thought about all the times he let his anger and emotions out in a flurry of pent up energy. It was a powerful tool to hold, but it wasn't what the darkside truly was.

"..what they don't tell you is the Darkside eats this energy... these emotions. Makes you sick."

He looked over himself for a moment as if to say; look at me, it's all you need to see.

"You may express your emotions at times more than a Jedi... yet you're at the Forces will, not vice versa. It is painful, you're disconnected from anything... everything else.."

He reached out and took her hands gently, they were warm compared to his cool touch. She had many obstacles to overcome, but she was capable; not only did Rev see this, but Caed was seeing this.

"Embrace your training Gisa, I sense Rev... my Father, would not have taken you on unless you were capable of everything he put you through.."

He'd give her flesh a soft squeeze before letting her go, his eyes meeting hers for a short second.

"..if it is guidance, and a friend you seek in aid.. I may be able to offer it; but know that where we go there may be no turning back... I do not know where this journey takes me, but the former Grandmaster will hopefully be on that path.."

Nagisa stood her ground, her feet shuffling slightly as Caed approached and began to speak with her. She seemed slightly ashamed by the fact that she was afraid, it not being a trait that was praised in a Jedi Knight. On top of that she felt slightly uncomfortable with how much she had let her guard down. The calm emotionless mask she wore most of the time was all but shattered at this point, and she didn't really like people seeing the real her underneath.

"I can see what you mean about my being afraid in this instance... I've just spent my entire life making myself feel nothing... even before I was in the order when they encouraged it. It is...difficult to let my emotions out like this." she mumbled

Her eye's glanced over him when he mentioned how the darkside makes you sick. It wasn't hard to notice the physical effects the darkside, and she felt sad that he had gone threw so much pain, she wished she could just take it all away for him. She did not expect him to reach out and take her hands, it causing a light blush to form on her cheeks which was reinforced when he called her Gisa.

"Your father was the only other person to call me Gisa, I feel we were both guided here by the force so we could meet."

Her hand squeezed his back very lightly, and lingered for a moment after he released hers before she pulled them back into her chest. She then gave him a deep bow.

"I would be honored to accept your guidance and friendship in this journey and will stand by you no matter what obstacles my lie in our path. I will not give up, I promise you that."

He remembered first leave the temple as a Padawan, there was much on his mind back then. Fear was more than evident in him back then, he was going into the Universe with no guidance; a scary thought for any being. A Jedi was praised for fearlessness and their prowess in the battlefield, yet few left the Temples alone until coming of age. It would be her time to venture outward and learn of what the Galaxy truly was, a dark and misguided place.

"Use that emotion, but control it. Fear can empower you more than any other feeling.. We may back down at first, but it is breaking through that and using it to our advantage that few can do."

It was that soft smile that would grow on his face to reassure her of his words. She was as much a Knight as he, yet their lives were vastly different, but somehow the same. Her speaking of his father and their similarities surprised him, almost pushed him away from the idea of following in his footsteps; but he was making his own choices, not following.

"I sense your feelings are right.."

It was odd to him, she was a complete stranger to him seconds before, yet now she was an ally. The thought was snapped away as his hands received a soft squeeze, one that caused a grin to form at the corners of his lips. As she shied away his face would return to that almost emotionless stare, watching her fall into an elegant bow. He'd return it with a bow of his own, bending at the back, but his neck doing most of the work.

"..Then we shall seek out the former Grandmaster.."

His head swiveled as his shoulders turned to look back at the Temple one last time.

"...Where should we start..?"

The thought finally found its way into his mind, he had no idea where to begin. With any luck his father's former Padawan would know the man better than he had. Otherwise they'd have investigating to do, something Caed wasn't too fond of.

Nagisa was glad she had found an ally for this venture, before she was planning on going to find the former grandmaster alone, and that was a rather daunting task for the new Jedi Knight. It was the reason she was here meditating in the first place, though at first she wished she would have been on a different planet due to the bad memories this one stirred up. She listened to his words of wisdom, seeming slightly conflicted for a moment as he spoke of using emotion to help her. she remembered being taught to block out emotion, like the code said 'there is no emotion, only peace', but she would heed his words and trust in his wisdom from experience.

"Ah... I unfortunately do not know where he would have gone off to, he left before I got to know him really well. That is one of the reasons I was meditating here, in hopes the force would help guide me to him..."

She gave him a slightly apologetic look as she mentioned this and turned back to look at the temple as well.

"If that did not work my next plan was to ask the current Grandmaster. I would think she would want to keep tabs on a Jedi as powerful as Rev, just in case..."

Caed listened to Nagisa closely, she didn't know much on Rev; he had always been a secretive person. His own thoughts were to meet with the current Grandmaster, Talzea, as well. However, there was a lot occurring within the Order, Master Haar was dead. She had just been returned to what was believed to be the Bogan himself. Then the conflict that was constantly going on between Republic and Hutt; a constant struggle.

"Then I feel we must seek out Talzea.. I only hope she will have the time for us."

He looked at Gisa and motioned for her to follow before offering a friendly nod. There was no telling what their future held, but something told him it wouldn't be a short journey.

Nagisa frowned lightly and nodded, she knew as well as anyone else how busy the Grandmaster was at this time, there was indeed a lot going on in the galaxy and it seemed most of it called the attention of the grandmaster for one reason or another. She then nodded and quickly followed behind Caed, almost feeling like a padawan once more walking like this, though it was a role she seemed to easily fall into due to her experiences in life.

"I suppose if she is busy we could seek an audience with Weisheng or one of the other council members, they could probably get the information we needed as well. Also I have no doubt they would want to be notified of our little excursion giving the nature of it."

She stopped for just a brief moment and knelt down. Yin came scurrying out of the forest and crawled up onto Nagisa's shoulder. "Yin, this is Caed, we will be venturing with him so be nice." she said to the little reptile, giving it a stern look.
