Olketh's (twin to Olkoth) office on Nal Hutta was where the galaxy's scummiest went to submit lightsabers captured for the bounty presently posted on them (after the last office got shot up). The current listings for a lightsaber are:

500,000 credits (for non-Cartel members)
1,000,000 credits (for Cartel members)

* * *

Note: Please post IC your bounty submission. Find a way to include a link to the thread where you claimed the lightsaber so that this can be verified. This is, obviously, a death-disabled NON-PVP thread. Please wait for the character account to acknowledge your submission before making use of your acquired credits.

After that Suu shot up the the last office and killed the other enforcer, Jack Lawson was pleased to know another office for turning in lightsabers has opened up. Lawson then walks through the room, with his two lightsabers already in hand. One of the lightsaber is split 30% for both Jack and @Nora Grazioso, with the remaining forty precent going to @Idriss Mako. The second lightsaber's reward goes all to Lawson. He has his lightsabers already in hand, ready to present to the presiding Cartel enforcer. He just wants the reward money so he can hurry and get off this planet.

Olketh had been through a lot over the past week, what with making the arrangements for her twin brother's funeral and all. She had just managed to pick up the magazine where he had left off, nearly at the point of learning the hidden truth of the galaxy that he had been so hoping for before his untimely death, when some pissant came up wanting to turn in some sabers. "It's not even a week and you guys are already messing up my day. I'd ask if you wanted to shoot up the office too but I don't think your spindly arms could carry these credits, let alone a gun." She made the transaction, rolling her eyes as she did so. "Get lost, scrub. I'd get some protein with those credits, put some meat on your bones. You look like all you need to snap your neck is a strong wind at the wrong angle. Which would be any angle.

Davik stumbled into the office of Olketh, looking like he'd had too good a time celebrating Dahlia's victory at the finals of the Boonta Eve Tournament. In reality he really had been going at it like there was no tomorrow and yet when he got news that Tage Mak prevented a robbery of the lightsaber-turnin shop, he was reminded that he, too, had some lightsabers to exchange for credits. After all, he and Tage had been cleaning the desert on Tatooine to acquire some. It was thanks to that little adventure that Davik was able to drops [two] functional lightsabers on Olketh's counter. "Olketh buddy," the euphoric feeling he got from his spices mixed with a severe headache had Davik squint his eyes at Olketh, whom he had never met before. "Two lightsabers amounts to, eh-" Davik counted his fingers, shook his head, tried to count them again and then seemed to have an epiphany as he replayed a message on his datapad "By the Force, Davik you're stupid. They're worth one million credits a piece." Davik grinned, remembering their worth now, and held up three fingers "That'll be two million credits to be transfurrt-" credits weren't really furry, were they? "transferred!" Hah, Davik knew he knew that he knew the right word all along. "To Davik Lorso."

Orion walked into the office hurriedly, hoping to get this done as soon as possible. He'd heard that some idiot shot up the previous office, and he wasn't looking to be filled with bolts when he was just trying to cash in a hard earned lightsaber. He would never forget the day when he bested a Jedi on Alderaan and laid waste to his childhood village.

"Ring it up," he said, putting the hilt down on the table and inwardly cringing. What was he supposed to say, anyway? It was his first time doing this, and he didn't really know what kind of lingo the criminals used. He would simply nod to the worker and walk away once the transaction was finished.

The lightsaber hilt clinked against his metal shell as OZ pushed open the door to the office. He was brandishing it proudly, like a trophy, since he wouldn't be able to hold onto the hilt for much longer. He was about to exchange it anyway. The prospect of spending those credits excited him more than the looks of awe he'd been receiving when bystanders saw the hilt on his belt. It was obvious the droid was no Force sensitive, so the subtext was there loud and clear: he had bested a Force user.

He wouldn't ever tell anyone that he'd gotten the hilt after some Jedi almost pissed his pants and ran off after 3 shots flew his way. He'd thrown OZ the hilt without turning back, so the droid just took what he could get. He would have gladly fought for his prize if he had had to.

The droid stepped up to the counter and put the hilt down. "Let the creds roll," he said. If he had a mouth, he probably would have smiled.

A few minutes later, the droid left the store, now a millionaire.

Olketh had JUST picked back up the magazine when another small group of people burst into her office to trade lightsabers. This must have been how her brother felt the day he died, constantly being pestered by pissants and...what appeared to be either the palest human she had ever seen or a new alien species whose mortal enemy was the sun or just anything that generated vitamin D in general. She looked to Davik first, finding him in her roster of Cartel members before trading out the credits. "Here you go, stoner boy. You've got enough to buy stock in your favorite spice dealer, maybe they can sell it to you in other forms that can easily fit up your nose. At least it's better than my boot up your ass."

Turning to the chalky one, the look of revulsion was plain on her face. "And what the hell happened to you? You look like you have a vendetta against anything that generates natural light you pastey-ass excuse for a person. Go drink some juice or take a vitamin, I'm surprised your skin hasn't started to atrophy yet." She gave him the credits for his turn in, making sure not to touch his hand or any other part of him. "That kind of creepy isn't contagious, is it? Yeesh, I'll need to go get my shots after this shift just to make sure. Get the hell out of here and don't let the sun accidentally shine on you, you'll probably burst into flames."

Lastly was the robot, another hit on her roster of Cartel members. This one intrigued her, as she liked his style. Processing the exchange she actually gave him a smile, though her words were still tinged with the usual saltiness that she and her brother had been known for. She couldn't break habits, even for people she might have decided to consider the chance of liking at some point in the past or future. "Here you go, literal chromedome. A few blocks down there's a great place to get polished up nice and shiny. You can spend some of that there and then go get a hooker or two just like the rest of the guys that come in there. I heard some of you guys can still enjoy that and I'm sure there's SOMEONE out there willing to play that game."

As I strode into Olketh's office on Nal Hutta, I found myself wondering if any other Jedi had deigned to claim the bounties on lightsabers, or if I was the first. I carried with me, in a bantha-hide satchel, the twin lightsabers of the Dark Jedi I had killed on Daxam IV. In true form, our fight had been very quick and very fierce, but I had prevailed with little injury. I felt a dark satisfaction at proving myself his better; I let myself feel it, understand it, and ultimately, let it fade away into the Force.

This was dangerous territory, to say the least, so I was clad in my black and red stealth armor, my own lightsaber hidden in a sheath at the small of my back, beneath my cloak, and a blaster on each hip. Unidentifiable as the Jedi I truly was.

There was a holoprojector dominating the center of the room, framed by a pair of couches, and a cluttered desk in front of the wide windows. Olketh was sitting at the desk when I entered. I approached her with long, purposeful strides.

"Greetings, ma'am." Slowly and very deliberately, I reached into the satchel and withdrew the sabers and placed them on the desk. They were identical, with curved hilts and pointed ends for stabbing. The dark jedi had been a truly vicious creature.

I'd learned enough snooping about the city over the past few days that I would only got 500k per lightsaber, since I wasn't affiliated with the Hutt Cartel, but that was more than enough for a man who ultimately had no need of material wealth or possessions. "Thank you very much," I would say when she handed over the credits. I would place them in the satchel and exit with measured haste.

The bell rang as OZ strolled into the little shop, his hands on his belt. The droid's walk was more extravagant than usual, his circuits rewarding his performance on Jedha--where he took out not 1, not 2, but 3 individuals--with some positive emotions. He'd taken out two Jedi and a mercenary, knocking them all out on his own. He had no reason to kill, and thus did not; none of his opponents had a bounty on them.

He walked up to the counter, greeting the person there with a tip of his hat. "Glad to see you're holding on to this job," he said. "Few more meetings and we'll have to go out for dinner."

The droid slid the hilt down onto the counter and left shortly after, sticking around only long enough to hear what the shopkeeper had to say to his statement. It would be amusing, no doubt.

The Wook strode into the Bounty Office with a sense of accomplishment. Sure, he'd gotten his target drunk off the rocks first to the point where the Exile couldn't even defend himself, but the act had been sufficiently violent as to send a message. Don't kriff with The Wook. Hell, that bartender was probably still cleaning up blood. That wasn't a problem though, as The Wook had left credits to pay for the cleanup, and no doubt the bartender had stripped the corpse of anything remotely valuable. He neatly laid out two lightsabers on the counter without mentioning that it had quite possibly been the easiest bounty in the history of bounties. But then, when you were The Wook, everything was easy. He collected his money, wired directly to his bank account, and left with a spring in his step. Today was a good day.

She had finally found it out. Just one page later and Olketh had discovered the secret that had eluded her twin brother during his life, so sadly cut short by a man who turned out to be completely inconsequential in the end. Usually she wasn't a very sentimental person, but Olketh felt that this would be the one way she could carry out her sibling's last wish. The magazine had been put down and now she had a datapad out, ordering ingredients and spending nearly a month's salary, but before she could check out another wannabe badass decided to come in and turn in a bounty. It was a bit hard to tell what gender they were though as they seemed to actively try to be prettier than the baseline Olketh maintained.

"Well, aren't you a pretty little thing. I see a Jedi left something behind for you after they were done paying for the night. Well, it's not for me to judge how you grab things, sabers or otherwise, so here's your bounty. If you still need it, Dwayne down the street sells some nice cigarras to, you know, cleanse the palate." She smirked as she sent the young...person on his way, hoping he didn't die due to a overly sweaty Wermal in a Jedi Temple somewhere. Huh, that was a really specific thought. She couldn't ponder it for long, though, as a familiar face came in with his own bounty.

"Oho, we have our first return customer! I'd offer you a prize, but I'm not paid enough to. Still, at least we know you're not just a one-hit wonder. I might just take you up on your offer. Let it not be said I don't accept free food. Let's see if the third time'll be the charm." She winked at OZ, genuinely starting to like the sassy Droid. Maybe there was someone out there that could...'upgrade' his model for a bit of non-combat fun. Her thoughts were interrupted AGAIN when ANOTHER return customer came by.

"Geez, what is it today, my high school reunion? I haven't seen so many familiar faces since the trial of my brother's murderer. Still, fair is fair, and it's not surprising that you were one of the ones to come back. No one ever expects the shag carpet to suddenly leap up and snap your neck, after all. Hopefully you'll use a bit to actually invest in some shampoo and conditioner. I don't see why you need to wear armor with your fur as thick and matted like that." With all the annoyances gone, she tried to find the datapad with her order. Kriff, it timed out. NOW she was pissed.

Blythe walked in with a lightsaber in hand, all prettied up for the occasion since she was proud of herself for getting one. She, of course, wasn't about to mention that she actually scammed a Jedi of his lightsaber instead of killing him in some epic battle. Like her last bounty she had drugged and killed her in a cage instead of fought her. But hey, it didn't really matter how she got them, right? A bounty was a bounty and a lightsaber a lightsaber. She went up to Olketh and handed her or him—Blythe couldn't tell— the lightsaber for credits.

Nem'ro slithered into Olketh's office. He had won three lightsabers, so far, in his career. One, his favorite, he had left back home on Ryloth. He couldn't sell that one. It was his weapon and his most prized possession. But the other two he had won off of some now-dead Jedi were being cashed in. It was time to... expand his operations a bit.

Olketh raised an eyebrow as Blythe walked in, handing over her lightsaber to get her bounty. She was more willing to be friendly towards other females, though she was still saltier than all the seas on Mon Cala, so she decided to say nothing as she had nothing nice to say. She COULD have inquired as to how long she would have had to have serviced whatever Jedi she had scammed the lightsaber out of, but she didn't. The thought never even crossed her mind that Blythe had gotten the lightsaber the legitimate way. It just wasn't believable to her. The money was given and she was waved on, all without a word.

The next person to visit was probably the sassiest Hutt that ever sauntered his way into her office. Damn, despite not technically having an ass this Nem'ro managed to shake what the swamp had given him in a way that would put most prostitutes out there to shame. Actually, now that she thought about it, this was the guy that had hired her friend Tryck. Son of a bitch, for once she was actually glad to see someone walk through her office looking for the bounty. "Thank you for your work, Sass'ro the Hutt. Say hi to Tryck for me. I miss his weekly cups of coffee and the stories he tells. Treat him good, he's a goddamn treasure." She made a motion as if she were watching the Hutt, though it was in jest. She was serious about keeping an eye on Tryck, though.

Max walked into the office. Lightsaber in hand, Max walked up to a desk in the center of the room where the clerk sat. "One lightsaber." Max placed the lightsaber on the table, his hand resting on it, wanting to see the credits first. He did not trust anyone. He had one his spoil fair and square in a gambling game. He won it surprisingly easy.

The Wook entered the bounty office with a Jedi's lightsaber that had, hilariously, been hastily surrendered without him even having to point a gun at someone. Gods bless the Jedi, where would he be without them? A million credits less rich, that's where. "Aarrragghuuhw Uughguughhhghghghhhgh, aarrragghuuhw aarrragghuuhw raaaaaahhgh, wrrhw. Raaaaaahhgh hnnnhrrhhh huurh aarrragghuuhw?" he growled as he placed the lightsaber on the counter.

Something old and something new walked through the door this time. Technically the datapad of infinite Sudoku puzzles she was using was borrowed and she was wearing a blue shirt. Shit, this must meant she was getting married. She looked between the two, noting how the human had looked just like another patron of hers that she hadn't seen in a while. She knew that man, though, and this wasn't him. "Oh, you can count, good for you. They must finally be teaching you bounty hunters the useful basics, now. Here's your credits, maybe you can afford the advanced class teaching you the proper way to wipe yourself, or, gasp, numbers with more than one digit. Don't let the door hit you on the way out." She turned to the Wook, far more glad to see him come back. "Congratulations, you are now my most common customer. The fur's looking nicer, maybe you DID take my advice. Here's your credits, I hope to see you again soon. You're here so much I'm starting to miss you when you leave." She winked at him as she gave him his payment. He'd proven himself a right badass for getting all these sabers, now he was above the salty comments.

Balmorra. It still played on his mind even after all this time. He didn’t envy the troops that had served there for the long haul, his stint had done enough to keep him away from war for a long time. To do anything to prevent it happening to more.

These were desperate times, and they called for measures in kind.

Even if they were rather unsavoury. Vollen disliked having to go to the Hutts of all people, to cash in on a bounty clearly meant against his own people. But the funds could do wonders for the Order, help them secure things that could help turn the tide. Hopefully. But even as he walked into the office, hood up to cover his identity, he felt almost sick. But he placed the blades on the table, now purified, and waited for the deal to be done. He wanted to be out of here as fast as he could.

To say that Olketh was beyond livid was an understatement. She had JUST received word that the bounty had been lifted on lightsabers, meaning her job was now over. She didn't have to work with any dirty scum off the street who manage to come across a glowstick now, but she also didn't have any idea what her new job would be. Despite how she acted, she LIKED just sitting on her ass day in and day out, with only the occasional asshole coming in. She was just about to lock up the door when this new dumbass came in. Olketh recognized him for being a Jedi with what he wore and how he acted. Were even they so hard up now that they had to turn in their OWN sabers for money? You know what, the whole situation was so incredulous that she just wanted to savor it. She silently completed the bounty and sent the Jedi on his way. She wouldn't out him, that wasn't her job anymore. As soon as she was gone, though, she locked the door so no one else could get in. After cleaning up the office, as she wasn't a goddamn savage, she left to make her way to visit Nem'ro's Majordomo. She knew what new job she wanted and it was about time for the guy to 'retire' anyway.
