As soon as Libertine reached the ledge and stood beside his master, Choray turned and walked all the way back to the entrance of the cave, using Force Sight to see in the darkness. Finally they had reached the exit and Choray stepped off the ledge, using the Force to glide down to the ground and landing easily. In the snow below he looked up to Libertine and called to him: "Try to glide downwards like I did. If you fail to do so, the snow here will break your fall so you won't get hurt. The alternative is leaping off the ledge with Force Leap and simply land here next to me. Your choice!"

Libertine followed, gripping tight his gem of conquest. He wouldn't look down at it. In his mind, it had already become a part of him. And as he walked through the tunnels back to the entrance, he focused on it. All his thoughts and concentration was towards his new crystal.

Libertine heard his Master's command, and to Libertine there was no alternative. He too stepped off the ledge and fell through the darkness. Closing his eyes to aid in simulating that place where nothing existed and there was no room for movement, this human felt a harnessing of force all around him. His arms squeezed in ever so slightly, his lats flexing at the air. His feet slowly touched, melting together into a single unit. And though his coat tails flapped upon slow descent, Libertine was not distracted focusing on his crystal gripped in his right hand most of all. He felt a swirling of Tapas engaged through him and reached into the darkness behind closed eyes as to how smoothly he glided down to the Zabrak Crusader. His feet finally patted down into the first layer of snow, plopping through to a sturdier layer. And so he opened his eyes with a short breath escaping his smacking lips, standing just before his Master.

Libertine arched his back with a rolling of three cracks through his spine, as he then returned his shoulders to their pressed down and proper posture. Libertine softly bobbed his head once over to Choray, who was just off to Libertine's left shoulder.

"Good," Choray said. "Now, follow me back to the temple using Force Speed and then leaping across the gap up ahead."

That was all he had to say to Libertine before he sped away, enhanced by the Force. Finally he leaped across the gap, combining both Force Speed and Force Jump, and he landed easily.

After he landed he casually walked towards the entrance of the temple and there he awaited Libertine before heading on in.

And with his Master's affirmation, Libertine had already begun to prepare himself. He knew where he was and what that meant, as the first time they passed through here would no doubt bring the same usage of force powers.

The dark Crusader took off, and Libertine bit at the hatred inside his currently incapable body as he tried and failed to keep up with his Zabrak Master. Though he charged through the force with a likeness to one so adept and used to using force speed, a distance grew to separate them. This human made sure not to watch his Master, for fear of copying him like some dependent impersonator. Libertine was the real thing, or so he wished to prove, and so he felt through the energizing darkside as it burst from his legs; shooting off into a missile dive through the air into a simple single flip onto his softly landing feet, though stumbling to a halt.

And as Choray had already begun a steady walk back to the Temple, Libertine brushed off a wrinkle that had gathered upon his shoulder as he too casually returned to those doors.

When Libertine reached the temple, Choray gave him a nod of approval. Then he turned and headed into the dark temple. There were still a few things that had to be done and one of those things was teaching a solid lightsaber form. Up until now Libertine had only used his own improvised style of combat.

After stepping into the training room once again, Choray fixed his dark side eyes upon his apprentice and said: "You have come a long way already and you have proven yourself time and time again. You have learned a lot of powers without complaining that it hurts. Now answer this question:

"Do you prefer offense or defense when it comes to dueling?"

Libertine scowled, analyzing himself with the utmost scrutiny; shifting the mask upon his face with the tensing brow. He knew the answer right away, but wouldn't rush to thoughtless words or pretense.

Libertine stood still with his fingers around his wrist behind the small of his back, feet glued together ever so properly. His bottom lip peeled open, teeth unwilling to release.

"Offense, Master." This human was a calculating sort, quick to know the answer yet unwilling let other opportunities pass by. He was an aggressor, no doubts there. Yet somehow he classified his reacting nature to be that of a defender.

"That much I noticed," Choray told Libertine. "The reason I asked you this, was because you might wanted to learn something defensive. I'm glad you chose the opposite."

In Choray's eyes offense just had the edge over defense, because he was a man who hated passive dueling. He wanted to strike, to intimidate his opponents and butcher them up. Choray was a warrior driven by anger and the Dark Side.

"There are a few forms I can suggest," he said. "Makashi, a duelist's form and especially good for saber versus saber fights. Then there is Shien, a very aggressive form and good when you are outnumbered, although I'm not quite sure if it would fit you. Juyo is my own signature form and the most aggressive of all. Ataru is fairly aggressive, but requires lots of jumping and I don't think you want to do that, though I'm quite sure you are capable of it.

"I recommend Makashi." He stated. "I have a small assignment for you, now. Go to our library and study information about all of the seven forms of lightsaber combat. Though I am going to teach you only one, I want you to have basic knowledge about all of them so you can pass on your knowledge to future acolytes. I will await your return here, so unless there are questions you should go."

Libertine lowered his head immediately, with a slowing pace to the extent of his stretching muscles. Pivoting back, Libertine would not be a burden. He had only seen what parts of the Temple his training took him, but finding the Library would hold no challenge.

Making sure to keep his limbs and take care when passing others, he would not allow any distractions. These rats weren't worth the effort anyway, scratching their way to the top of a very short box. No, Libertine had a higher vision. So much so, that he made sure those who sought to challenge him in the halls would miss with their shoulder checks and slam into another Acolyte. Face, meet shoulder.

Libertine snarled to himself. At first he enjoyed their attention, but realized with the sounds of sparring a room away that he had wasted too much time already. Looking down the opposing hall, it was clear that a Library lay through that archway. Dust had settled along the walls there, where as any other object could show the disrupting and detrimental signs of conflict; this place was used only by the mind.

And so Libertine stepped softly, yet with an heir of dominance. Following the wall's edge to a terminal, Libertine tapped the screen to begin searching.

No peace, only suffering

No knowledge, only instinct

No serenity, only passion

No harmony, only chaos

No life, only death...

As the words appeared on the screen, like the echoing words of his own mind, Libertine wavered. Applying the meanings to others filled his flesh with power, but when turning the words on himself he cringed. It was that of his true self, like the one he defeated in the cave. He hated it, yet it made him ever stronger. His complete understanding of how his own mind twisted from past experiences and curdled from memory's shortcomings and weaknesses, gave him the instincts and passion in chaos to inflict suffering until death.

But on to his assignment...

Reading along, Libertine scrolled through the specifics figuring that it may be required of him to regurgitate the jargon. They were stepping stones to Libertine, ones that he wouldn't miss.

Ah, finally he had come to saber combat. The seven forms, the generic title read. Several windows popped up with looping vids of single motion demonstrations of each form, at a basic level. Force powers he had heard of, through his travels of seeking the dark side, but lightsaber forms he knew nothing about. And so he read through each one with an intention of finding the style to match and compliment his own. And there it was, Makashi; the style referred by his Master. Yes, this indeed suited his desires. He too would train studiously against having his saber taken or damaged. Precision and efficiency over power, Libertine read in total agreement. Footwork, Makashi was a style based on balance. Libertine cracked his spine with a shirking of his shoulders. It had already begun to take a part of him. Yet he read on, taking in all the other form's general concepts as part of his training. He took it as getting to know those who he may face in the future. He would study them all in text, but only one would suit him in physicality.

It was decided, and shortly after Libertine would return to his Master where he left him.

((OOC: Hey man, sorry this took me so long!))

Choray Sefja awaited his apprentice inside the training room where he was meditating. He could sense that Libertine was coming closer and so he rose to his full height.

He would teach Libertine a saber form, something very important for a Dark Jedi. The lightsaber was their most precious weapon and a signature weapon. If used correctly, it could deal great damage and it would provide protection at the same time. A formidable blade, especially because it was so light in its weight.

"Welcome back," Choray said once Libertine entered the room. "Tell me, what have you learned?"

((It's cool man, thanks!))

Stepping into the room with an incredible arrogance, Libertine seethed through his would-be-showing teeth if not for his mask. Two steps, not one more or less, into the room before his Master and every nerve in his body charged as if to magnetize; thus portraying in the planting of his stance, firmly stretching his neck to bow his head only.

"I've learned much Master." He spoke softly, yet assertively.

Libertine took a deep breath through his nostrils before continuing. "I've learned that Shi-Cho is of basic sword technique: attack, parry, body zone. It can be defeated by assaulting the mind, and does not address lightsaber to lightsaber combat. I've learned that Makashi is elegant and precise, feinting adversaries into opening weaknesses. It can be overwhelmed with sheer power, designed for single opponent duels and not ranged defense. I've further learned that Soresu corrects this, keeping a tight guard. Opening up a user's guard or distracting them can lead to defeat, as well as an aware and lasting attacker. Ataru is an aggressive and acrobatic style, lessened in prolonged uses and confined spaces. Its energy can be used against itself. Shien and Djem So utilize a strong defense while still incorporating powerful counter attacks. I've learned that the styles are weaker against a single opponent and can become predictable in their returning counter attacks. I've learned how Niman has no focused advantage other than its balance and lack of opening weakness. It can be defeated by forcing all its options to focus on your specific strength. I've learned that Juyo emotionally and unpredictably eviscerates a single opponent with great power, yet sacrifices much for the sake of that powerful offense. Defeating Juyo is further possible through the use of force powers."

Libertine now more seriously gripped his suited robes with a pulling on his neck as he cracked two pops with only the slightest of movement. He lowered his arms with open hands, as to await approval.

"You have learned much, indeed," Choray spoke, "more than most are willing to learn. I know the basic stances of Makashi, although I am not able to use the form correctly. I will teach you the opening stance and the basic attacks and defenses."

Choray took the lightsaber from his belt and ignited its powerful energy blade. He took on the opening stance of the form in question and he would wait until Libertine would do the same.

Then he began to demonstrate a series of moves, stabbing, blocking, slashing. Of course this was not enough for Libertine to get used to the form, but at least it showed the basics. Again: Choray was not good at this form and could only teach it. If he were to use this in combat, he would be defeated in an instant. He was a master of Juyo, a very different form.

Libertine joined his Master, igniting the red blade down towards the floor on a diagonal along side his teacher. His bent wrist relaxed a precise motion. His confidence bolstered, Libertine felt confirmed; as his tendancies were all along a mastered form in swordsmanship. He had yet to master it, but the knowledge that centuries of thought and effort had been put into what his muscles already simulated made him feel invincible.

Libertine made sure to keep his footwork balanced and continuously moving, as he mimicked the motions of his Master. All the while, the human thinking of when next he'd return to the texts of his favored form. There was plenty more information there, along with images and tutorials, for him to begin his attempts at mastering such a form.
