Hey there, people of TSWRP! I am Jamie A.K.A SirNoodles and am a massive Star Wars fan. I love Star Wars, LEGO & making games so I thought why not mix them all together? So pretty much I've started to make a LEGO Star Wars game where you play as a clone (as I love the Clone Wars) during the Battle of Coruscant in Episode 3 and onwards.
The Main Idea (Please note that I am going to say a brief idea so I don't spoil most of the game)
So pretty much you are a clone who fights in the last few battles of the clone war. So the first mission is where you're piloting a ship to escort Anakin and Obi-Wan to the ship where they will rescue Chancellor Palpatine from Count Dooku and General Grievous. I'm sorry to say but the rest of the campaign will be a secret ;). I will hopefully add some minigames. I haven't yet decided them but I've brainstormed some ideas such as racing, shooting range and one I know you will all love... Kill Jar Jar Binks Simulator.
What will separate this game from other LEGO Star Wars games
So of course there have been a few LEGO Star Wars games. Some of which you actually play in the clone wars and Episode 3. However what will separate this game from the others is that you actually play as a clone and see everything from a clone's prospective. For example, in the games for Episode 3 you only get to see the prospective from Anakin, Obi-Wan and brief bits from the Separatists and the Sith. But in this you only see the prospective of the clones. So for example whilst Anakin and Obi-Wan are fighting Dooku of course the clones are still fighting droids. So whilst that duel rages on, you'll be shooting down droid ships. Also battles in the actual film that are brief will be a lot more longer and detailed.
So I thank you for reading this thread. If you do want to keep updated with the game's progress you will be able to see it on this thread. But I will show you a little sneak peak of the opening of the actual game. (I know it's called The Clone Wars because in the mean time I wanna think of a name other than Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith). Also for those of you wanting to know I shall be using the Blender Game Engine.
NOTE: Apologies for the Bandicam watermark. Also the sound and video quality aren't as good as they are when I'm not recording. Also my mouse cursor is turned off.
