DESCRIPTION

Poisons have their place in the world of espionage and subterfuge. They can even be found in use by bounty hunters in some cases. Not all poisons are meant to kill though. Lecepanine is one of the most popular and consistent paralysis inducing drug available on the black market.

To have an affect on a target the poison must be either ingested or introduced into the blood stream. Simple skin contact or inhalation of a gaseous version of the poison will not have any affect save for some slight numbness on most organic's skin or some loss of smell sensitivity.

When added to a drink or food the process takes a few seconds to take hold. Tasteless and scentless the poison can be snuck fairly easily into food and relies on just the deft hands of the poisoner. The time it takes for it to affect the target is a little bit long than if it was directly introduced via blood flow though it is far more complete usually within five or six seconds. Lecepanine will first affect the lowest section of the target, legs and then torso. People have described a numbing sensation in their stomach. It will spread to each limb and body part until the target is completely paralyzed. They wills till be able to breath, swallow and look with their eyes though they won't be able to speak. Within thirty seconds the imbiber of the paralytic will begin to feel drowsy and fall unconscious from anywhere between six to twelve hours.

More often than being placed in food Lecepanine is coated along weapons like darts, arrows, knives and swords. The drug will, within a second or two, paralyze the arm or leg. The poison will then spread to the nearest body part, usually the torso and cause paralysis there as well. However often one normal cut from an average dart, knife or arrow will not cause total paralysis. Instead it usually takes two or more though the speed at which they take affect is faster than if ingested. If a significant amount (two or more dart dosages) are introduced to the body then within forty five seconds the user will fall unconscious.

This affects of this drug can be sped up with adding more of the sedative to the poisoned individual's system by whatever means they choose. Bounty Hunters or assassins will sometimes hit the target with more than enough darts to make sure their quarry is subdued fast enough since force sensitives are known for being able to combat the affects. For force users, focusing on trying to neutralize one dose is like focusing on one force technique. This means that high level force users can quickly and relatively easily neutralize the sedative though if they get hit with multiple darts they might inevitably fall under the affects of the drug but be able to increase the time they have before they fully succumb to the paralysis and possibly avoid the unconscious state where they can no longer try to focus on the halting of poison.

The only real counter to this poison is through the force the person affected can neutralize it. However if a force user is already unconscious they cannot stop its affects themselves and must rely on a fellow force user. Alternatively stuka cheskar combats all existing levels of the paralytic. If only one dose is introduced to a limb of a victim then they will not lapse into unconsciousness though most often the loss of a limb temporarily will lead to more of the lecepanine being added to the system.

*A user who gets this will have a resupplying amount of one vial that can be used for a single weapon not unlike a weapon mod. Otherwise they have a vial that amounts to one dose that can be snuck into food or drink.

LEGALITY
Illegal

INTENT
This is meant to be a poison that is very versatile but not meant to kill. Instead it is meant to be a poison equivalent to a stun blaster but capable of being used without arousing any suspicion if properly used. Based loosely on the wikia poison but meant to be more balanced for site pvp purposes.

RESTRICTIONS
Only available with proper staff oversight.
