LandFall!

Jace looked out the front view port as Nar Shaddaa came into view, it was almost as ugly as the Hutts that live there. But this was his first stop in his journey of finding out who backed the takeover of his planet and the murder of his family. As he neared the space lanes two fighters approached his ship, “Freighter NightWing, correct heading to the outer capital landing pad. The Hutts want to have a word with you, if you do not comply with this you will be shot down.”

“Now come on, what did I ever do to the Hutts? I have not seen one in 15 years? Not since my 15th birthday, when they crashed it. Is this about what happened then?” Jace asked smiling even though he knew they could not see him.

“Adjust course now or be shot down. That is your final warning!” The fighter’s pilot cut the transmission. Both fighters then took up positions on either side of the NightWing to escort him down.

“Well looks like I don’t have much of a choice.” Jace grimaces as his thoughts turn to the last year before his family was wiped out. That year was the happiest and now most bitter of his life, every happy memory was shadowed by the loss of them just a year later. For the last ten years that’s all he could think about. He turned on his auto pilot and put in the coordinates that he had been given.

Jace got up from the pilot seat and he headed back to his room and his locker. He grabbed his crimson leather duster and swung it over his shoulder. As he put his arm through his sleeves he attached his plastiod neck and shoulder armor. He grabbed both his lightsabers and sheathed them in his front pocket on his jacket. He grabbed his blaster pistol and stored it in his right holster. He checked his vest pouches for his ammo and grenades, he was now ready to head out.

Jace’s ship landed on a secluded space port, it did feel a little off but the force was telling him he had to go.

This was as far as Ryan had stooped. He swore he'd never come here. But what choice did he have? The Hutt world had the best place for him to hide. The Hutts would never look for the dead right under their noses. He looked over the ship, NightWing, with a slight grimace. Those around him never saw his face. He stood in his heavily modified Genesis-5 Combat Armour, integrated with a black trench coat and other various components, all but making it unrecognisable. Over his shoulder he slung his now dark-grey AR-710. Everything about him was different. Even his name.

Blurryface.

He didn't know why he picked it, but it worked. He was constantly stressed and always paranoid, spiraling into a light madness slowly as the weeks passed. He strolled up behind some Cartel thugs as the ship approached the ferrocrete landing pad, letting his coat flow behind him. He unslung the rifle and cradled it at the ready as the ramp lowered. He watched as the Devaronian stepped down it, horns pointing to the sky.

"Oi, yew, state ya business." His accent was like a lower-Coruscanti commoner from the undercity, forcing the inflection to further keep up the illusion to those around him.

Jace looked down at the soldier and his riffle, thought crossed his mind that it would be his luck to be killed here. But he knew that he had to be as fast here as he could, attack or talk? He decided that talking for now was the best option. "I was directed by the Hutt's fighter pilots to land here. That they wanted to talk to me about something, though I have no clue what. So are you here to kill me or keep me from going anywhere?" Jace smile at the soldier trying to seem less threatening, he knew his people where always seen as threatening.

"I'm 'ere cuz I get paid." Ryan snarked to the horned being, adjusting his rifle in his grip. He looked about the thugs and they looked at him in a silent inquiry of what to do. Ryan motioned his head behind him, towards the landing port's office building. "Best you follow me, there's a holding area inside I think."

"I see, I am willing to come with you. I am not here for trouble just for imformation, at least for now." Jace walked toward Ryan, but did not pass him. "After you my good merc, after you."
