<div align="center"> And it seems to me you lived your life
like a candle in the wind:
never fading with the sunset
when the rain set in.

And your footsteps will always fall here,
along England's greenest hills;
your candle's burned out long before
your legend ever will.....

Laili Jeyna Rendar was born early as a result of a speeder accident that killed both of her parents, Corwin and Jeyna Rendar. Though her mother lied dead at the scene, the unborn child somehow survived the accident. Medical personnel arrived quickly on the scene and were able to save her from death’s door. Because of this, Laili was born an orphan. Her grandparents, who had been watching her brother Kit Corwin Rendar at the time of the accident, did not know Laili’s fate and assumed her to be dead along with Jeyna.

Kit ran away from home before news of Laili’s survival reached her grandparents. Laili remained on Corellia with her grandparents and never set foot off of it’s soil until her twenty first birthday. She knew she had a brother but was never able to locate him. But, her own destiny took her elsewhere. She became a smuggler, making valuable contacts and managing to commandeer almost every landing and docking code in the galaxy.

When news of Kit Rendar’s fall to the Dark Side reached her ears, she became enraged. Refusing to sit by and just let him fall further into the dark abyss of his mind, her soul purpose in life became bringing Darth Ravinos back from the darkness. This journey took her to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant where she met with Jedi Padawan Ussej Padric Bac. The two felt an immediate connection and went to the First National Hotel of Coruscant, near 500 Republica. They slept together that night, but before Ussej awoke she had disappeared.

Weeks went by before she found her brother on Corellia, who went to confront her at their parent’s grave. Though, Darth Ravinos had no idea that this mysterious woman was truly his sister. When he accepted the truth, he attempted to lure her to the Dark Side. But, now Jedi Knight Ussej Padric Bac, the man she had secretly fallen in love with, stepped in and saved her. Ussej told her that the only way she could protect herself and have a chance at turning her brother back to the light was to be trained in the Way of the Jedi. Reluctantly, she agreed and set off to begin training as a Jedi Consular.

Throughout her training, it became harder and harder to hide her feelings for Ussej, her teacher. They confessed their love for one another, which led to a marriage proposal from Ussej. Despite many arguments, they were able to pull through. But, that all changed when Ussej was called to Kashyyyk by Master Damien Nightblade. Damien knew of the relationship between Ussej and Laili and urged him to be careful. Enraged at the thought of Damien trying to steal Laili from him, he left and went back to Laili. It was later revealed that Damien’s intention for the meeting was to promote Ussej to the rank of Jedi Master. Ussej returned to Onderon, however the love between him and Laili and the anger towards the Jedi Order for not promoting him quickly began to take a toll on their relationship.

It was soon after that Laili began to suspect that she was pregnant with Ussej’s child. She did not take a pregnancy test or consult a doctor, as she was frightened upon what might be said. She sought out an old friend of Ussej’s, Jedi Master Remer Ather, and told him of her suspicions of pregnancy. She also told him that she was afraid Ussej was headed down a dark path, one he would not be able to pull himself out of. Remer told her that he would talk with Ussej, though he was never given the chance. Laili and Remer never saw each other again.

To put her mind at ease, Laili decided to head out on a smuggling run, despite Ussej’s protests against it. She headed to Mannan, but she soon realized that she had fallen into a trap set by Darth Ravinos. Luckily, a Bounty Hunter named Mathias, whom Laili happened to have made acquaintance with some time before, was there and saved her. Mathias gave her a relaxing sedative to calm her.

Mathias brought Laili back to Onderon where he carried her off his ship in his arms. Unfortunately, Ussej took it the wrong way. He believed that Laili was having an affair with Mathias, a man he had come to despise even more than Darth Ravinos. He dropped the flowers he hand-picked for her and began to walk away. Laili leaped from Mathias’ arms and limped on her injured leg to him, but she fell into the streets screaming his name. She almost collapsed, but Ussej leaped in and caught her.

Ussej rushed Laili to a Medical Center where she would be treated for severe cramping in her lower body. Not a pleasant surprise was Damien Nightblade, who was also in the Medical Center. Damien bestowed the rank of Jedi Master onto Ussej. Ussej accepted it, though he did feel that it was a strange time to be given such an honor. The doctor revealed to Ussej that Laili was pregnant. Ussej was shocked. When Laili awoke, Ussej told her the good news and she was estatic. But, Ussej could not help but wonder if the child was really his.

When Laili and Ussej arrive back at their apartment, they begin to talk about the future. Soon, Ussej begins to tell her that even if the Republic becomes the central Galactic Government again it will not last forever, and neither will the Jedi Order. He told her that it will probably happen far in the future. Then, he fell to the floor and had this vision:

It was as if he had been living a dream as he walked through an area completely blanketed in nothing but white. Soon, his surroundings changed to that of a small, medical center that was now eerily familiar to him. The cries of a young woman could be heard from around a corner. Though her face was a blur, her presence was familiar to him. Turning the corner, he could see the pregnant figure of the young woman lying on a delivery table. A man, apparently a Jedi Knight though his face was a blur to him, stood over her. The young woman cried out in terrible pain while a nurse droid stood at the end of the table. With one final scream, the young pregnant beauty delivered a child.

Mantus’ eyes flinched, the vision playing within his mind almost as it had months before. However, in the labyrinth of his subconscious, he knew that the vision was not yet over.

Though he was still in the same area, the circumstances had changed. As the labor moved into delivery and the child was born, the young beauty had grown increasingly weak. She looked up to the Jedi Knight, and all that could be heard was “There is good in him....” The woman fell limp, succumbing to death....

He passed out into a cold sweat and almost went into shock. Then, he awakes and runs outside and throws up in the streets. He falls against the door to the apartment, wondering if he is on the right side of the fight.

Ussej told Laili that he has to speak with Damien Nightblade on Kashyyyk. He brought Laili with him and dropped her off on a remote planet far away from the Jedi. But, Ussej never went to Kashyyyk....he went to Korriban to confront Darth Ravinos. After a heated exchange of words, Ussej knew that he had to find out the truth about Laili and Mathias while saving her at the same time. He kneeled down before the Apprentice to the Dark Lordess Viea, who bestowed upon him the name "Darth Mantus", a name meaning the God of Hell and Betrayal.

Ussej returned to Laili along with Darth Ravinos, where they revealed Ussej to be the new Sith Lord Darth Mantus. They both were successful in convincing her to join them. Laili felt that the Dark Side would offer the life that would lead to the family she had always wanted. Now that she was with them, her family could finally be together.

A few weeks later, Laili was confronted by Former Grand Admiral Invidius. In an attempt to anger Darth Mantus and Darth Ravinos, Invidius tried to kill Laili and her unborn child. Mantus came in and saved her, but she had lost a lot of blood and suffered heavy premature contractions. They landed on Telos where she received medical attention. But, Mantus and Laili were not the only ones to go to Telos. Master Damien Nightblade followed them there as well where he confronted Lord Mantus. The fight did not last long, though both combatants were well versed in the ways of the blade. After a ferocious display of swordsmanship, Damien teleported from the Medical Center into his ship, leaving Mantus and Laili.

Mantus trained heavily with Darth Ravinos in the following months until he got a call from Telos saying that Laili was in the medical center. He rushed back to find her in labor. After calming her down, he managed to get her to finally lay down and listen to the doctors. After a painful labor and an even more painful delivery, Laili gave birth to Mantus' son, whom they named Ussej Padric Bac II.

A year passed until the day that the Macabre Alliance attacked Korriban itself. Ussej and Kit had faced the two Sith Lords in an attempt to prevent them from crowing themselves the Dark Lord and Dark Lord’s Apprentice respectively. Mantus had already turned from the Dark Side, re-becoming Ussej Padric Bac, while fighting Invidius on Korriban. He had managed to turn Kit away from the darkness and convince him to help.

The time came when Ussej and Kit decided to kill Empress Viea herself. After traveling to Coruscant, they managed to make her see her wrongs, redeeming the spirit of Adena Qel-Droma within. With that, she left where she lived out the rest of her natural life in peace. The Sith, under the lead of Apocalus and Invidius, stormed the Throne on Coruscant and Ussej and Kit were forced to flee, or else face overwhelming odds. They knew that if they were to continue their family names they would have to go as far away as they could. As they were leaving, a Jedi task force entered the area. Ussej saw his old friend, Damien Nightblade, and explained to him the situation. Damien thanked Ussej for almost sacrificing his life, as well as for being a friend when he was not a Sith Lord. The two bowed as Damien rushed into the battle. They never saw each other again.

Many years after Apocalus and Invidius had taken the throne, the group of escapees was picked up by a ship in the Unknown Regions. Fearing for their lives, the group got into an attack stance. But, the unknown people were not attackers: they were rescuers. The people, introducing themselves as the Bendu Knights of the Ashla, revealed that they were on an exploration mission in the Skywalker Nebula which was where they all were at the time. They explained who they were and the philosophies of their Order. The group was stunned to hear that they were once part of the Jedi Order.

They were taken back to Kal’Shabbol. Laili received training and sat on the Council of Priests, but decided to resign after a few years. She and Ussej had another child, a girl named Talia, but the child died of a leukemia-like disease on her eighth birthday.

Ussej and Kit were made Priests after a few years and Ussej II became a Knight. Ussej and Kit eventually became High Priests and sat at the head of the Council of Priests. There came a time when a strange race threatened to destroy the Bendu, so Ussej took it upon himself to sacrifice himself for the good of his family and the Bendu. Laili, Kit and Ussej II were devastated, but came to terms with the death of their hero. Ussej was elected a Bendu Saint, an honor that went posthumously to only the greatest of all Bendu.

Many years later, Laili died peacefully in her sleep. Kit had tried to wake her up one Ashlan morn, but she never woke. She was given a grand funeral procession throughout the entire village. Hundreds if not thousands of citizens and Bendu Knights were in attendance. The Bendu buried her next to the memorial of Ussej Padric Bac just at the base of the Ashlan Mountains, the same area where Ussej Padric Bac III and Jana DesOrz-Bac were eventually buried after being killed on Dxun by the Mandalorians.

The memory of Laili Jeyna Rendar lived on throughout the ages. She was said to be one of the kindest and most gentle women ever to live on Kal’Shabbol, and most importantly a woman who would never be forgotten. She now resides within the Ashla, waiting for the day that Ussej Padric Bac will let go of his eternal life and join her. She once vowed to wait an eternity for him to return and, to this day, she continues to honor the promise, hoping that the man she loves will return to her.

may you ever grow in our hearts.
You were the grace that placed itself
where lives were torn apart.

You called out to our country,
and you whispered to those in pain.
Now you belong to heaven,
and the stars spell out your name....

I tried to find one of her without that head thing, but I didn't feel any of them suited her character well. I'm still looking for another.

EDIT: Nevermind, found one.

Updated more on history. I finished just up to where Ussej turns to the Dark Side and convinces Laili to come with him. Well, with a little help from Kit of course....

No offense to Kelly or anything, but the history she wrote was like a paragraph and kind of lacking. Because I will end up putting this on ST.N, I needed to spruce it up a lot.

EDIT: Added RPs, as well as Lineage. I will have the Strength, Dexterity, etc. and history completed tomorrow.
