Lady Zahra's Abode (Ruusan Temple)

The ornately heavy wooden door bore carvings of birds of prey on the hunt. Upon entering the room, it is clear what the focal point is. Central to the room is a large bed covered in red satin. The stark white sheets below brought a sense of purity or innocence to the room. One of the few symbols there. Across the room were candles lit giving off a soft romantic glow to the room. A plush crimson rug was the only barrier to the coldness of the stone walls. A red veil was pulled to one side of the bed out of the way obviously there for privacy. In the corner stood a black, yellow and red painted dressing partition with ancient warriors painted upon it. The smell of fresh cut white lillies were also filling the room offering the second sign of innocence. To the left was a large desk and console tied in. On the opposite side was an area meant for meditations. There sat pillows on the floor for those long moments when she would spend several hours here. Tapestries taken or stolen from homes of her rich victims were hanging upon the wall adding to the decor.

Without hinderence, Luna enters the dimly lit room and takes a look around. She walks past the desk and runs her delicate fingers over it. She takes in the scent of the flowers which reminds her of the palace gardens back on Empress Teta. She sees the partition and stands in front of it, examining every detail of the excellent craftsmanship.

*Footsteps echoed in the room as Rajani entered and looked upon the intruder. Her voice greeted the woman with complete coldness.*

"You're a brave woman to think you can just waltz into my temple as they wish."

Luna slowly turns around and Rajani sees that she isn't really a woman, she is still young, seventeen in fact. Her long blue hair flows down past her waist and her royal staff glints in the candle light.

I'm sorry, no-one stopped me, or at least they didn't seem to want to try.

She smiled, her face lighting up the room.

*Her eyes narrow as she tries to read the mind of the woman before her. Ambition....much ambition and lust for power. These were things her whole character seemed to be composed of. Crossing her hands across her chest, she spreads her feet across in a fighters' stance though her upperbody remains relaxed.*

"And how did you learn of this place in which you claim to have just walked through unhindered?"

*If her story was correct, many heads would roll because of this. No one knew of the base on Ruusan. Twice now persons have come to her doorstep seeking out the Dark Jedi. If it was out, then their base would have to be moved before the Jedi came knocking on their doors.*

Methodical proccess of elimination. Plus I have my sources, who are now dead.

Luna shrugged as she walked around the bed. She smiled at her and spoke again

And all I had to do to the guards was smile at them. It's amazing what a guy will do for a pretty girl.

She examined the carving on the door and suddenly turned to her and curtsied.

I am remiss, I have not introduced myself. I am Princess Luna Darkstar, heir to the throne of Empress Teta. I went to the Jedi Council to seek further training but they refused me because I am too old. They are the ones who are old. I did hear however that there were other ways to train in the Force than the Jedi. I eventually found my way here. I do hope I am not wrong.

Luna liked the look of this lady. She was standing in a way that suggested calmness, but Luna was an accomplished saber-master and knew that her legs were poised to move in an instant. She smiled and curtsied once more

*Her eyebrow rose at the news of a Princess coming to visit her...and one from Teta. The possibilities came to her mind as she smiled at her own thoughts. She dropped her hands to her side and bowed her head in some sort of respect for the woman.*

"Killing those who could link you here shows you have a brain along with that beauty. It's rare to find both in a woman these days. There's more to you than meets the eyes."

*She walked around the room towards one of the candlesticks. Letting her hand move over the flame and seem to caress it, she continued to speak to Luna.*

"Yet, I don't accept persons off the street for training. Nor do I just let anyone who walks in here join my ranks and learn the secrets I hold. If you want to be trained by me, you will first have to be tested...."

*Her hand moves over the flame once more as she speaks of the consequences.*

"Should you accomplish what I send you to do, I shall consider training you." *Her hand waves across the flame sending it higher.*

"If you fail..." *The last part of the answer doesn't come as her hand slams down quickly upon the wick and the flame sputters out. Rajani turns to face the princess.*

Luna watches as the candle crumbles under her hand. 'Powerful indeed' she thinks to herself, 'candle go splat' she says under her breath. She looks into Rajani's face but does not smile.

I will take your test. I may be inexperienced, but I can handle myself in a fight. And I know that you are thinking that it would be nice to have control of a world so close to the capital planet, and the Jedi Temple.

She brings her staff round and plants it on the ground in front of her.

"Here on Ruusan someone has advised me of the presence of a Sith cult. The members are all dead, but supposedly they inhabited this planet and held someone...dear. I want you to try to find this base and bring back whatever information or artifacts you can find. I want in full detail what was left if anything. I need to know the truth."

*She raised her head up. Rajani knew she should do this herself, but going out while Carden was watching her so closely would inflict who knows what upon her. No, she had bigger fish to fry. These minions that came to her wanting to be trained could do her grunt work.*

Luna curtsied and left the room, her long hair flowing behind her. She made her way out of the Temple and to the surface of Ruusan. She had no idea where to start her search, but she knew she would find what she was looking for, she was good at that.

Luna returned to the Temple and headed for Rajani's room. She held the holocron in her tight grip. She was rather upset that her favourite dress had been torn and her hair marred, but she had done as ordered. She walked into the room and held the holocron out for Rajani's inspection.

*She looked at the holocron and then at the woman before her. Her eyes quickly returned to the holocron and wondered what information in it there was.*

"You seem to have had a rougher time retrieving things than I had expected."

*She waves her hand dismissively.* "I'll contact you as soon as I've had time to evaluate this...holocron."

Luna nodded, handed her the holocron and left the room.
