Intent: I looked around for a while, noticed that particle beams are used kinda frequently. Also noticed there wasn't a carbine with particle beam tech. Combine that with the stealthy assassin guy I have, who's equipment I'm still reworking after the rules update, and I need a smaller version of a staple blaster. Other PCs might find themselves in this predicament and discover a want for similar tech, so I decided to go ahead and test my creation ability, again.


If there are any changes that need to be made, I'll gladly make them.

basically just taking a DC-15S...I would first get a different picture. Particle beam weapons are not typically "stealthy" weapons either and are usually on larger weapons like blaster rifles and not much smaller. i can say a two round burst is pointless imo and just have it stick with semi auto and also a smaller shot pack. like 20 max.

I'll address these in order of asking. Apologies if I sound contentious.
1. I like the picture. Plus, the DC-15s doesn't come out for another thousand years, give or take a few. The DC-15s is also a completely different weapon.
2. Neither are typical blaster weapons. It's the compact size of the carbine that I'm looking for, not the noise level.
3. I realize the average size, though in the particle beam tech write up, it says that the tech can be applied to a carbine.
4. I think the two round burst is something we haven't seen, and it could have unique applications IC.
5. The magazine size change is good, I'll apply that next time I make an edit.

Its the same issue I had with someone using the picture from the Rigger from the Clone Wars in a profile. Its recognizably not from this time period. So I agree that a new picture would be better. @Darasuum

yeah, but that's like taking a picture of a compound bow today and going back a few centuries and saying it's a primitive weapon from a completely different era. There's tons of weapon designs on the internet. Don't let them go to waist. You could take a picture of an X wing and use that as a starfighter today and just call it a large interceptor but that wouldn't fly (no pun intended)

yeah it can be applied to carbines, large carbines most likely and these are all medium in strength i'm asuming, not light blaster bolts or heavy.

If you want the two round burst that's a personal choice.

Might want to reference this in regards to the burst fire mode. Also the weapons are fairly similar in design and function.

@Outlander & @Darasuum I changed the picture. I didn't think about those points you brought up when I picked it originally, so I found a new one that I didn't recognize.

@Arclight I fixed the burst fire. Didn't even know that was disliked. Regarding the similarity between the guns, they both go pew pew. This one shoots particle beams though, while the other fires normal lasers (from what I read). About the same similarity as the XPC-71 and the R8-R Battle Rifle, for all I know.
