Shel was born on Csilla to a family absorbed deep in politics and intrigue. She was discovered by a Sith while he was searching the galaxy for Force sensitive children. Her parents, unable to control her bouts of rage and use of the Force and wanting desperately to save face, gave her willingly to the Sith to raise as his own. Her "Father" is the only parental figure she can recall.
She was raised to have complete faith in the Darkside. Her Father's teachings pushed her to accept the Darkness as more than a tool, it was a complete way of life. Every waking moment of her childhood and adolescent life was spent training her mind and body. Her Father had many children, Shel was by far his favorite, as he took her on his many trips around the galaxy in search of more children to add to his family. As she grew older, he began to use Shel's aptitude for charm to talk people into giving their children to him for training.
Completely devoted to her Father, she did as asked, assisting in the training of her brothers and sisters, taking children from unsuspecting parents. Even as his affection shifted to a younger sister, she remained totally enraptured with his teachings. Upon reaching the age of nineteen, her Father took her to Lothal and dropped her off with the mission to bring more children to him on her own. She has spent the past four years searching the galaxy for the perfect child to return home with.

Shel is generally quiet and well mannered. She tends to be a wallflower, enjoying the edges of the room, watching and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike up a conversation with her intended target, as she was raised to be seen and not heard.
She doesn't shy away from those that approach her, usually welcoming conversation, though her demeanor can be cold and aloof unless she is pursuing something. Quick to anger, she typically attempts to avoid situations where she is asked a lot of questions, however, she isn't usually successful and ends up in trouble more often than not. -
