INTENT​

To provide The Kjlljk Protectorate with a heavy warship capable of holding its own against the Galaxy ruling warships of other factions. It's designed to fulfill the role of a Star Destroyer: flagship, battleship, and carrier.

DESCRIPTION​

The KPDY Man O' War-Class Star Destroyer is the newest addition to the Galaxies leading ships, many of its advanced technologies were formulated by a cooperative effort by the Kjlljk Protectorate's top minds and the scientists of Gree, as a token of appreciation for the Protectorate's multiple efforts in uplifting their society onto the Galactic playing field.

The KPDY Man O' War-Class Star Destroyer is the Protectorate's principal warship. Designed specifically to serve as the heart of the Protectorate's armada and to best the Imperial's Empyreal-class Star Destroyers in combat it acts as the flagship, and carrier of the Protectorate.

Carrying a large complement of starfighters and bombers this literal colossus goes into battle launching two full wings of ships to assail enemy ships and provide cover against opposing starfighters. The KPDY Man O' War-class Star Destroyer was designed for offense, supported by the fact that either side the ship is equipped with 11 laser cannons dedicated to the ship's defense, allowing its full complement to remain focused on targeted larger ships.

Designing the ship and its technologies was simple with the minds available, however a portion of the materials used to create the ship were made from recycling metals and systems from ships found by the protectorate. In addition the ore shipments bringing in much of the KPDY's metal shipments had fallen under attack and an effort was undertaken to alleviate the lull in materials coming in. Although materials are necessary to create any product, it is perhaps the labor that is the most important in manufacturing. The labor, while at hand, required to be paid wages and as such the Protectorate required additional funding for such a project. Influence was spread and multiple backers were secured after considerable effort by the Protectorate, and it's members.

I wanted to get this down to begin critiques so I can make the necessary changes prior to the completion of the last research thread, as it is taking a while, to get this in before the Time Line dies. :)

I did a lot of comparison between the existing four star destroyer class ships and believe this to be a fair middle ground.

The specs look fine to me, and the prep threads are there. The real question is sort of an admin one- do we allow indies build something that can go toe to toe with ships built by the most powerful factions in the Galaxy?

Thank you, to address that as best as I can, is that the Protectorate will only possess one of these ships making it a unique ship, never to be duplicated.

I can't say much else without copying what you've said yourself. Ie. The specs, prep threads, and what not.

This is meant to be the crown jewel achievement of the Protectorate for this Time Line.

Edit/P.S.: Also, I don't know if this matters but I'd like to add this to the conversation:

The Kjlljk Protectorate has been a territorialy established government/Law enforcing organization since before the Time skip, and the KPDY was established shortly thereafter. And today the KPDY employes 20,000 labor personell, and has released a handful of successful products, along side it's subsidiaries.
