'Kowakian Devils'
My Story
Six years ago the galaxy was -felt- more free than it does now. There was more open space to roam, less blaster-enforced checkpoints and none of those foul looks whenever you visited a so-called civilized world. Lately, however, these civilized worlds are quickly spreading their values. Their Republic grows, their 'allied space' that they so falsely claim to be free is spreading without any regard for us. Consortiums of planets are formed to 'regulate' and compete while all across the galaxy the shadow of the once-defeated Sith Empire continues to fall across unsuspecting folk.
Maybe it comes as a surprise to you, having never really heard of the Ossein before, but our fleets have always been a refuge. We're nomadic, but we're also family. Lately our numbers have grown substantially and I struggle to keep everyone fed, content and safe.
That's why, after careful considering with the other Noy, we've decided to remain not just a travelling band of ships that befitted a small number of Ossein-born and an occasional newcomer. From now on we'll be a fleet and I will do my best to keep you all safe as your first Noyon. -- (Admiral King) Saal Noyon

The fleet
The Kowakian Devil Fleet consists of a mothership captained by Saal Noyon and numerous small to medium freighters and transport of the individual members. Some ships are large enough to support a crew of up to ten, while others are operated by a single member. For the Ossein people, whether by birth or adoption, the fleet acts and feels like an extended family.
The Colony Ship, called 'the Kowakian Devil', is nearing maximum passenger capacity but it isn't there yet. While the Ossein captains go out to earn credits and supply the fleet with fuel and foodstuffs, the Kowakian Devil offers schooling for the children, a market on which to sell everything ranging from foodstuffs to rare (stolen) artefacts, and the hangar has been turned into a repairshop for when a ship comes back from a mission too damaged to repair with just a blowtorch and a vac-suit.

Like most mercenaries, the Kowakion Devil Fleet doesn't shy away from working with the Five Syndicates, but it draws a line at jobs they think are morally wrong. They're often seen protecting bulk freighters by smaller corporations that cannot afford their own security division like Czerka or Blackwell. Smuggling remains an Ossein's prime business, however, and no one knows the loopholes and unprotected spare corridors better than an Ossein pilot.

His decisions aren't always supported by the Council of the other Noys, however, and is accused of letting his bleeding hart get in the way of the fleet's survival."
Noy - Daruun (NPC)"One of the more mercenary-minded captains in the fleet, Daruun in one of the few that try to follow the ways of the Jazaq yassa and as such feel that Saal forces the rest of the fleet to live too cautious of an existence."
Intent
I love the write-up for the Ossein Fleets and wanted to expand on it by offering SWRP members a fleet they could join or use as backdrop, opposition, support or serve whatever other fitting role in their future roleplays.
