What is going to happen in your plot?
A discovery of an old ruined Jedi wayshrine on the planet Kinyen brings together two Jedi Knights as they form a firm friendship and go to considerable lengths to restore the shrine to its former glory.

What other writers (and their characters) will be a part of this?
Dash Demeric (Alhon)
Noone Shabar (Soverin)

Where are all the locations in which your plot will take place?
Kinyen
Vandelhelm

Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. Include opposition type for each thread:
Breaking Ground (Ask)
Jedi Knight Dash Demeric travels to Kinyen, following up information he has located about a small ancient wayshrine there. Locating the shrine, he is surprised to find another Jedi there; Noone Shabar. They share their research and get to know another, before agreeing to work together to restore the shrine.

Warm Words (Dice Rolled/DM)
The two Jedi decide to seek the permission of the native Gran to restore the site. They travel to the nearest city to speak with a government representative, but are quarantined as offworlders and regarded with suspicion. They negotiate for their release and for the access and licence to restore the site.

Eternal Vigil (Dice Rolled/DM)
Clearing the ground and about to unseal the shrine, the Jedi are confronted by a aging Force-Sensitive Gran, a student of the last Jedi to live and die in the shrine. Cherishing his mentor's memory and unconvinced that they are truly new Jedi, the Gran attacks them out of loyalty and fear and they fight to defeat him.

The Sharp End (Dice Rolled)
Dash and Noone travel to Vandelhelm to buy additional materials, but find themselves caught in the crossfire of a criminal attack on the Metalsmiths. They fight for their lives to escape with the parts they need.

Building Anew (Ask)
With the time and parts they need, the two Jedi combine their skills and Force talents to complete the shrine's restoration.

What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game?” Link any items you’re seeking if applicable.
The restored wayshrine on Kinyen provides the Jedi Order with a new bolt hole in the Galactic South.
Dash and Noone's work on the shrine establishes the two Knights' reputation as amateur builders.

Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
No.

Make sure you edit your plot per the recent plot update and use the newest initial plot submission template.

I don't know about any wayshrine on Kinyen unless there is some information I'm missing. I think some small shrine that are common around planets that have had positive interaction with the jedi since the battle of Exegol might have them. If it has a force ghost there just ready and waiting I would think it would definitely need a lore writeup especially if it it is dishing out some information on holocrons.

What do you mean when you say "holocron re terrakinesis"?

Thanks for the feedback @Darasuum

Make sure you edit your plot per the recent plot update and use the newest initial plot submission template.

I reviewed the plot following the subsequent Plot Update but could find no inconsistencies beyond the fact that I have detailed the content of the threads as was the previous norm. I understood from the update that:
Plots that have a "play-by-play" format will not have to be resubmitted

However if I still need to resubmit the plot with less information then please let me know.

Ok, so I understand from this that because there is not a wayshrine on Kinyen in canon we can't RP one into existence, there needs to be a lore write up first? We will put a lore write up together on this basis but if we need to do anything else please let me know.

What do you mean when you say "holocron re terrakinesis"?

I meant a holocron regarding terrakinesis but have edited to make this clearer. I would highlight the holocron is not part of this plot; we only recieve some general information on its location, which would typically be a springboard for a subsequent plot.

I will suggest that a writeup of Terrakensis get drawn up as well. I think it is a broad technique so can be used probably already but just not in grand works like moving mountains and such.

In the third thread you mention fighting a force ghost. There are a couple things wrong with this.
  1. force ghosts are very rare.
  2. they are not corporeal and so would not make for a realistic opponent that you could defeat by normal means.
  3. The thread description is written like you automatically will succeed regardless of dice rolls. That is not the case. You can fail the thread so keep that in mind.
You do not need a lore writeup for the wayshrine necessarily. I think it could be handwaved. However the issue is that force ghosts are rare and so are monuments to the Jedi. I don't think a wayshrine would have a force ghost around it. I think for that to be the case then it would require some kind of writeup since it would probably be more significant like a temple. So if you want a force ghost you'll need that but if you want to think of some other opposition the characters might come across then you don't have to worry about a writeup.

@Darasuum The Force Ghost has been replaced with a Force-Sensitive Gran hermit. The outcome of the fight will be determined by dice and is no longer pre-determined.

I have posted a write-up for the wayshrine anyway as I had already put it together.

I have just removed the terrakinesis reference for now in the hope we can get going. We will submit a separate, subsequent plot for finding the holocron, including appropriate detail on its contents, and an accompanying write up then if required. In this plot, we just learn the location of a holocron at best.

Personally I would prefer an artifact hunt to not be broken up into smaller bits. It doesn't make sense to do a plot to learn about a potential holocron that might be able to teach you a technique that isn't approved. I don't want to approve a single artifact plot but in two separate submissions.

Also instead of learning just the location of the holocron you would actually have to be "learning the potential location of the holocron" since there is still no guarantee that the holocron is in the tomb where it allegedly has been for so long.

@Darasuum Ok, I have discussed the matter with Soverin and we are just going to remove the holocron. The plot was always intended to have the restoration of the Jedi wayshrine as its main goal. It is not an artifact plot, so we will just remove that aspect entirely as it is muddying the waters.

We would be grateful if you could let us know if it can now be approved.

@Darasuum - @Corbeau and myself are going to take over this after talking with @Soverin
Understood. Keep in mind that IC your characters have taken over to lead this instead of Alhon. It has the same repercussions as one Knight taking over another Knight's expedition and will be reviewed in that regard. Make sure you've made attempts to contact @Alhon but I'm assuming you already have done so.

I contacted him a day or so ago. I also contacted Soverin and heard back from him, but not Alhon yet.
