NAME: Kell Rook-Vizsla AKA Akalenedat

APPEARANCE:
Kell definitely has a resting face. He looks, ironically, perpetually pissed off which usually keeps people off his back- along with a scar that runs down the left side of his face do to a knife fight with a Tusken Raider. His right eye is dark blue while the left is hazel and his skin is a nice light tan hue. His dirty blonde hair is nicely buzzed in a militaristic fashion. He also keeps a neatly shaved beard. However, because he hasn’t shown his face to anyone in years, nobody knows what he looks like.
His beskar armor is now white and orange with black Death Watch symbols on his shoulder plates and chest plate along with horns on his helmet, though the left one is broken. This armor was the same as his biological father before him. His weapons belonged to his biological mother.
ATTRIBUTES:
He is a tactful and skilled warrior who can make quick and calculated actions in the heat of combat which makes him an admirable opponent. His abilities with the Force are weak, he’s able to use the Force (unknowingly) to make good perception calls. For example; predicting where his target is gonna be so he knows where to lead the shot, or getting the feeling he’s about to be attacked like a “spider-sense”. Other than that, he’s very limited with the Force. Kell prefers fighting with his fists instead of a dinky vibro blade and practices hand-to-hand combat on a daily basis to make sure he doesn't fall prey to the excuse of not using a blade when he probably should've. He’s knowledgeable of weapons and ships and how they work because he used to work as a mechanic and gunsmith on Ord Mantel for most of his teenage years. He is good leader and good at being led.

PERSONALITY:
Kell prefers judging others by their actions rather than words and doesn’t care about politics. If he says he’ll do something, he’ll do it. No silver lining. Kell is very rarely seen without his helmet on- and not from a crazy ideal or bond or anything. It’s because, in his line of work, he wants to remain incognito to keep himself and others safe. Kell only takes his helmet off in secluded areas, like his ship or a place where he knows only his friends will see his face. Because of this, the only facial recognition of him that can be found (including the one on his Sector Ranger license) are pictures of him with his horned helmet.
Kell is very confident and even prideful sometimes with the way he acts, or the regal stances he makes haphazardly. He's loud and proud of who he is and has a hearty laugh and a hearty fighting style of that of a lion. Along with his appearance, Kell keeps his true name a secret as he does not yet think he has the honor of calling himself a Viszla or a Rook and prefers using call signs such as "Arbalest" or "Akalenedat". It's also due slightly to paranoia.
He follows the Canons of Honor Creed and two new self-made creeds based off what Alor Srucayr once told him;
"Our word is our bond, an oath sworn must be carried out. Without it, we have nothing."- Draar Shukur Gar Ijaat.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born in the staggering mountain ranges of Ord Mantell, Kell Rook grew up in a small Mandalorian branch of the Vizsla Clan based on Ord Mantell away from the glistening cities and in the rough mountaintops and plateaus. He grew up as a foundling, knowing only his clan as his family. He was raised communally, jumping from mentor to mentor, learning what he could and picking up skills from all of his teachers. When he was old enough, he set out on his own to make a name for himself which led to him haphazardly joining the Sector Rangers. As a Ranger, he’s worked on several bounties put up for mercenaries and pirates and has been successful with almost every task he was given. Kell is a good a reliable ally but his loyalties are to his Clan. If they gave the word, he’d leave the Sector Rangers to answer the callings of his Clan.
Kell is the combination of two Clans, that being Clan Rook (from his father) and Clan Vizsla (from his mother). As a child, Kell was told of the great warriors his parents were and how they died fighting for Kell's life. The real story behind it was that his father, Percius Rook, fell in love with his mother, Mara Vizsla, which angered Percius' father, Vallen Rook, while the Vizsla clan was welcoming of Percius. When Kell was born, Vallen planned to ambush the Vizsla sect on Ord Mantell and kill Kell but was stopped by Percius who fought off his entire Clan before being killed by Vallen. Mara then gave Kell to her Clan before they fled and then killed Vallen herself, but later died from her wounds after the fight. The sect of Clan Vizsla members on Ord Mantell have hated the Rook Clan since, but still admire the bravery and sacrifice of Percius Rook in an ironic twist.
Kell is a Vizsla but takes on his father's name as a way of honoring him and wants to be able to be worthy of taking his place and name in Clan Vizsla or in Clan Rook (which ever comes first), but until then, he'll be known as Akalenedat, which means "Hard Contact" in Mando'a.

DROIDS: HK-24 series droid (1) named "Cleaver". Akalenedat found half of him in a scrap yard on Ord Mantell and he became Kell's first project as a young foundling, eventually bringing the droid to life from spare parts and lots of love. Cleaver has a strange kink in his programing that causes him to say "Clever Cleaver" randomly, even if the situation makes no sense as to why the droid would say that. Kell can't figure out why Cleaver does this and has decided to just roll with it.
