DESCRIPTION
This brand new specimen, is a grenade launcher that was forged in Kell’s workshop. The Mandalorian made it out of parts from an old TL-50 and modified it with an ascension cable with a laser sight and a red dot. It’s small and compact enough to be clipped to the side of a belt to be holstered yet it packs a big enough punch to obliterate a bantha.
It can only fire one slug at a time so users would need to reload the weapon after every shot, but given the large blast radius and damage output, it’s nothing to complain about. The explosive slugs it shoots are “spiked” meaning that it explodes on impact rather than bouncing around before detonating. It fires using a “micro-missile” ignition which fires the slugs fast and in a straight line instead of an arch to help with target acquisition.
In the end, this “Mountaintop” makes for a deadly weapon in the hands of anyone who knows how to pull a trigger.
LEGALITY
Restricted. Owning a grenade launcher of any kind would require further licensing and would receive and be subjected to more scrutiny from PCs, staff, and NPCs unless it’s made sense for you to own one (Military officer, etc.).
INTENT
To make a fun new and versatile weapon with a more interesting and different play style for my character (or characters- like what if he dies and someone grabs his stuff??).
