History: Kathryn, or Kat to those who know her well, has always lived the high life in the black, that is space. Having grown up on the planet Ord Mantell and being subjected to the scrutiny of every pirate, bounty hunter, smuggler, etc that made their way to her abode, she decided to finally do something about it and make a name for herself. Long before the Supreme Chancellor decided to toss a curveball to the Republic, she had been shipping 'cargo' through the trade lines under the alias of Hope Styman, a notable and respectable shipper trusted by the richest of Coruscant. This very 'Hope' of Coruscant was the one who so often came across some kind of trouble and ended up losing cargo and effectively disappearing from her employers never again to be found...that is until one man came on the job who's name we won't mention.
Forced to deal in the lesser respectable arenas, Kat began to fall in line with the shadier ways of the trade. The name Kat was well known for anyone who needed precious cargo moved. Yet, times grew harder as the Imperial forces began to crack down on the smuggler rings more forcefully than the Republic ever had done before. Only a few names were more wanted than hers all over the galaxy. With times growing harder, jobs began to get even more riskier. Yet, Kat could never give up the black or her ship, Flaming Comet. She vowed she would die before giving up the only life she knew and there were several out there ready to grant just that.
