FUNCTIONS
Function 1: Internal Dampeners (throughout)
  • Intergrated Inertial dampeners help reduce impacts imparted wearers body, situated under the armour panels, they help the absorb the shock of weapon impact through the armour and most other forms of blunt force trauma, for example, a fall or impact that might have fractured bones would only give them intense bruising.
    Force User Compatible: No
Function 2: Thermal undersuit (throughout)
  • Thermal undersuits wick away or reflect thermal energy for brief periods of time. They are not nearly as effective as a suit that firefighters would wear. Most commonly used to protect soldiers from flamethrower weapons or short bursts of extreme heat or cold, and are only good for 1-2 posts of exposure depending on intensity. They are useless against blasters.
  • Force User Compatible: No
Function 3: Mandalorian Iron Lungs (helmet)
  • With combat on a variety of planet surfaces, the Iron Lungs were created, a combination of both a filter and rebreather. The device was built into the base of the helmet and near the mouth region, eliminating the typical bulkiness with the attachments. Because of sensors installed, it could automatically detect the presence of water or other substances to allow automatic switching between the two functions. The Rebreather lasts for about 4 rounds while the filter is still susceptible to caustic damages.
  • Force User Compatible: No
Function 4: Armorweave Accessory (throughout)
  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
    Force User Compatible: Yes
Function 5: Jet Pack (back)
  • Jet packs are back mounted units used by elite troops increase their mobility on the battlefield. The jet pack's maximum speed is 50 kph and it carries fuel for up to five minutes of continuous flight (flight mode), but can also be fired in short bursts triggered by jumping (combat mode). The wearer can control the system to switch between modes and/or disengage it from their armor via wrist controls. These packs are cumbersome, adding an additional 8kg for the average human (larger individuals will have heavier jet packs to support their weight). While the fuel is stable enough not to explode, direct hits from weapons can trigger the system inadvertently, after which it is rendered useless.
    Force User Compatible: No

DESCRIPTION
Taking a set of heavy armor to be his own, Ka'ra'yc has made his set of armor improve his survivability over all else. Its purpose is to protect him otherwise he fights without the armor. Ka'ra'yc prefers to carry his weapons rather than wear them. But the rarity of quality munitions and beskar means he has used more available materials to construct his armor. Because of the kordan's physiology he has opposable digits on both "feet" which he can use to slice into terminals. His arms are also capable of holding up his weight and gear allowing his lower limbs to be used very much like a dug's. The armor itself is painted in the colors of clan Vhett and with sigils of Guerilla Group.

Mandalorian Markings Awarded
Mandalorian rewards used for reference.

Custom sigil (1 PvP win)
1 Mandalorian Armor function (2 missions complete)

The following are considered "successfully completed"
  1. Complete - Guerilla or Go Home - Korda Six - PvP Invasion
  2. Complete - Me Want Big Ship - Ossus - Raid (capital ship theft)
  3. Complete - Dusty Dusts Plooroid IV - Plooroid IV - PvP Invasion

LEGALITY
Mandalorian armor, though rare, is not illegal in most places. That said, wearing a full face helmet in public spaces is frowned upon, and often illegal in many core worlds, especially in or near government facilities - not to mention that many identification cards in various systems require a full face photo. This drives many strict adherents of "the way" to operate exclusively on the fringes of the galaxy.

INTENT
To provide armor for Ka'ra'yc to use.

RESTRICTIONS
None, but would be highly unlikely to be in the hands of anyone other than a Mandalorian character. Unless captured.
