I apologize for the faction's lack of activity. This is, in part, due to FaMiLy's disappearance. Since my character is Branch Director, however, leadership and direction of this faction falls to me. FaMiLy gave me permission to post missions and accept new members but I did not welcome the responsibility, therefore I declined promotions and was happy with my current position. Unfortunately for myself and the faction, my character is the highest ranking employee and now with FaMiLy's disappearance it will be assumed that Miss Kalar is on leave for the moment.

There is only one rule for current Kalar Employees that I can think of for the moment. It goes into effect now:

Do not enter into any RPing as employees on behalf of Kalar Enterprises without first clearing it with the faction leader, which for the time being, is me.

This means you can PM me at anytime or post here with questions. If you want to start a thread or have any ideas then just let me know. I will respond and do not be afraid of denial unless your request is very silly.

This is all just to keep other factions and individuals from interfering with Kalar's agenda since Kalar is an entity of many and not subject to the whims of outside individuals and factions. For instance, if an individual outside of Kalar invites you to RP on behalf of Kalar, your characters actions will be seen as insubordination and unsanctioned.

Lastly, Kalar Enterprises is still hiring new employees. We welcome new members and we apologize for being unable to update the roster in the first post. I may post periodically to display an updated roster. Have fun. ^_^

Kalar Enterprises

Kalar Corp was founded early in the galaxy as a merchant building, eventually becoming a large multiplanet establishment. The company opened new subsidiaries, such as Kalar Shipping, Kalar Chemicals and Kalar Foods, while shutting down others, such as Kalar Manufacturing.

Branches
Kalar Technologies - Kalar Technologies, also known as KalarTech, is the biggest division of Kalar Enterprises. It is involved in the retrieval and research of alien technology.

Kalar Construction - Kalar Construction is the companies source of credits. Many organizations and leaders often register construction with Kalar Construction yards. The construction field often insures safety rules and provide a guarantee of the construction projects. Construction projects can consist of industrial construction, private construction, or civil construction.

Kalar Biotech - Kalar Biotech is the company mostly responsible for the galaxy's healthcare system. The company itself is a facility for researching and developing new medical procedures and systems. It also trains and teaches a huge number of people annually. Kalar Chemicals and Kalar Pharmaceuticals work closely with Kalar Biotech to develop medicines for different diseases.

Kalar Foods - Kalar Foods is a little known subsidiary of KalarTech mostly based in Coruscant. It runs farms and cattle ranches in the Midwest of the galaxy, and imports meat from all over. Kalar Foods produces specialized products like ecological foods and natural lines with no additives and controlled growing. Kalar Foods has concentrated development efforts on organic produce, as a result of changing fashion and consumer demand.

Kalar Shipping - Kalar Shipping owns dozens of freighters and handles three-and-a-half billion tons of freight each month.

Kalar Shipbuilding - KalarYards is responsible for the building of a large number of naval warships, commercial, and private ships and is currently building a Nimitz class spacecraft carrier in Coruscant. KalarYards facilities repair a large number of cruisers and destroyers.

Kalar Chemicals - Kalar Chemicals controls Kalar Oil, Kalar Pharmaceuticals and Kalar Botanical. Kalar Chemicals is primarily a research and development firm.

Kalar Medical - Kalar Medical handles most of the healthcare system in Coruscant Kalar Medical is focused more on researching illnesses than treating them and maintains and runs many hospitals in the galaxy and helps the Foundation with the orphanages.

Kalar Electronics - Kalar Electronics is a large consortium that manufactures portable radios, cameras and electronics, measuring devices, scanners, surveillance equipment, computers and other electronics devices. Its other branches of business include information technology, wired networks, wireless networks and space exploration systems and satellites.

Kalar Division & Departments

The Kalar Enterprises is the holding company for the enterprises many departments. The Kalar Enterprises funds scientific research and helps people with research by providing facilities and training. The enterprises has its own building called the Kalar Enterprises Building which includes a penthouse, it also has a secret elevator which leads to a secret sub-basement under the building. Through Kalar Enterprises the Kalar Enterprises Building sub-basement has a mass transit running underneath Coruscant. In which allows fast transportation for Kalar Enterprises members.

Robertson Sub Division & Department
The Robertson Sub Division & Department is a division for medicine and medical help. This division gives annual awards for medical breakthroughs and lifelong commitment, similar to other divisions. The division funds and runs dozens of other free clinics all over the galaxy. The Robertson Division & Department is also a breakthrough for criminal justice and the galaxy's protection. It often funds the law enforcements with donated money.

Loretta Kalar Sub Division & Department
The Loretta Kalar Sub Division & Department is a patron and supporter of arts, families, education and tolerance. The division supports and helps to run a number of orphanages and free schools, and provides teachers for those who have learning difficulties. Artists can apply for grants from the division to help support them in furthering the arts. The division sponsors companies like Family Finders Inc. Family Finders is an organization directed at finding lost people and uniting families. The division sponsors and runs dozens of soup kitchens within the galaxy.

Updates:

Contact with Mozh has been lost while he was away for Kalar business on Tatooine. Protocol dictates that his failure to report requires the position of Protection and Security Leader to be opened so that it may be refilled.

Contact with Leiris has also been lost while on the same business. While protocol does not dictate her removal from the roster, due to her high rank, no executive decisions may be carried out since Miss Kalar is also on hiatus. We await the resolution of this situation.

The hiring of new employees may continue, however, since hiring is not considered an executive decision. Applications are still being accepted and recruitment is encouraged.

Mission suggestions are welcome.
