DESCRIPTION
The K/M shuttle, commonly referred to as simply the Mandalorian shuttle, is a utility spacecraft developed by Kuat-Mandalore Creations, a joint venture between MandalMotors and Kuat Systems Engineering, a subsidiary of Kuat Drive Yards. The partnership was officially dissolved after the outbreak of war between the Sith Empire and the Mandalorians, however factories in Mandalorian space continue to produce the K/M.

The K/M is a basic craft, able to carry up to 30 tons of cargo in addition to 2 crew and 6 passengers. It is equipped with a class 6 hyperdrive, light deflector shields and a dual light laser cannons on a forward flex mount. Consumables can last the crew up to a standard week, and amenities are basic but adequate for a voyage of this duration. Maneuverability is average for a ship of its size, and top speed is about 50 MGLT. The ship's only real standout feature is that the wings fold backward for landing, allowing the ship to squeeze into tight hangars and other spaces more easily.

The K/M is about as standard as shuttles get, but is still well liked by its crews. It is said to combine Mandalorian durability with Kuat thoroughness and economy of design.

LEGALITY
Legal. The K/M is a shuttle, and though its is used by military forces, it has no features precluding it from civilian sale.

INTENT
To create a standard shuttle for use by Mandalorians.

ADVANCED TECH
No. K/M shuttles are fairly standard designs, and not inordinately hard to get hold of.
