Of course, he was focused on the events at hand; especially with claws drawn. Fighting with claws was a skill in itself, almost an art it was similar to fighting with a sharp weapon, except it was done with finesse. It was a natural weapon, and boy were they sharp.

He'll try and deal with this as quickly as possible.

The Cathar dropped from the defensive style and moved into an aggressive offensive style. As soon as the opening presented itself the ranger closed in and delivered a flurry of blows to the thug; someone had to be dirty and he'd do it first. 3 to 4 shots delivered in quick succession to Theo's chest and torso, concluded by a quick step in and uppercut to the Thug's face, however the blow was delivered with the sharp claws slicing the jaw and chin. Delivered with significant force to knock the thug backward. Arah retracted the claws and tackled his opponent with force.

Theo hit the ground hard with a loud thud echoing in the warehouse. The air clearly knocked out of the thug. Once they'd hit the ground, the Cathar used his agility to quickly mount his opponent who, with little strength had started to deliver blows toward his captor. Minor, not much strength in them, Arah wrapped himself around his bad guy to climb on his back, Theo's face now into the ground. Tizun reached back and removed his cuffs and locked them in place once he forced Theo's hands back. Sitting himself up, Arah Tizun positioned himself on Theo's back. Sitting up, he tapped his ear a couple times, cycling through some preset frequencies.

"Coronet, this is ranger Arah Tizun of the sector rangers. Requesting a pickup crew at my location. I've several in custody related to a spice deal. Attend with units and I'll need an escort for one." He delivered his message with authority. Once he'd gotten a confirmation from the local agency he switched back to his original secure frequency that his pseudo partner would be on.

"You can come out of the shadows."

He rose to his feet and moved to check the others in the area. He wouldn't stray too far though. They were still breathing, but still had some of the effects of the stun blasts. He gently kicked the weapons away out of the way of the thugs. He would secure them later when the agency got here. He picked up his own gear and returned it to his person while he waited for the Mandalorian to join him at his side.

The local agency would arrive shortly after as he waited for her arrival. They entered the building and the ranger took charge. "The one out front, these two here; her? She's with me. I need that one escorted back to my ship and secured. Keep eyes on him until I return. Mando had her own encounters. She'll direct." If Reiel was paying attention, she would be able to note that he said her name differently. She'd be able to deduce that even though he knew her name, he wasn't going to share it with anyone. A sort of respect, no doubt.

She could issue the orders to the local agency - direct them to the location of anyone she wanted them to know. They would take each into custody unless otherwise directed.

When he had her attention again, "Thank you. As I said, I cannot compensate so you did not need to even assist. But you did for whatever reason…" he was casual, but that would change on his next comment though "...Do not expect to collect at a later date. No favors here." He never shook and he wanted her to know for sure, this was not a deal and he was not to be expected to fulfill his end of a bargain that never happened. There was no disrespect though.

"I'm sure we'll meet again, and I truly hope it is in a similar capacity as I do not want to chase." He truly did hope to meet her again and work with her, maybe a more planned capacity instead of just winging it like today. Maybe if she needed a hand she'd contact him, he wasn't above getting a call, but he was no mercenary, he'd need to be able to relate to what he was doing. Sure bounty hunters were known killers, but they're also known hunters for criminals - but the type of criminals could change. Criminals in the eyes of actual, legitimate laws - or criminals because someone wronged someone. He would help on the former.

He offered but a tiny tiny grin, "you did great. Don't worry about that one. Occupational hazard."

Of course, with the Ranger's full focus, the brawl against Theo the Slugger wrapped up quite splendidly. Reiel could only watch the fight from the shadows with open awe – the Cathar moved with such finesse and ease, and the young Mandalorian would be a hypocrite to deny the sudden burst of jealousy that bloomed in her chest at the skill he displayed once the dealer was down for the count.

She retrieved her commlink when it beeped to life. At the series of taps coming from the other end, Reiel identified the 'caller' as the female Aqualish.

"Thank the fecking stars," the Mandalorian muttered in relief at the news that the ship was clean, and that the culprit behind the client's missing credits was – she didn't have the strength to be surprised anymore – Kabi himself. The Aqualish had Kabi apprehended, and Reiel was given another quick detail of the former's plan on handing the thieving guard to the authorities at the client's behest.

Good call, Hinari. Keep that up.

When her commlink beeped again to life, this time the Cathar contacting her, Reiel was quick to comply with the Ranger's words. Sure that Tadu was still knocked out when he didn't budge at the nudge of the Mandalorian's foot, Reiel made her way towards the Cathar. Up close, she could see the damage he received from the fight. Before she could express her concern, however, the Ranger quickly took charge as local security entered the scene and assessed the situation.

The Ranger had no idea that Reiel's respect for him went up another notch when he adressed her using the usual moniker she would give people instead of her name. He wouldn't see it, but the young Mandalorian still smiled gratefully up at him before turning her attention to the agent who stepped in her field of vision.

"Head straight through here," she instructed, pointing towards the direction she had come from, "and you'll find a bound and unconscious Zabrak. His name's Tadu, a known associate of the dealer the Ranger had apprehended. You can take him."

Reiel had no idea how the Cathar would react at her decision to hand Tadu over to the authorities, but she deemed the choice fit for the Zabrak's crime. The client would not appreciate having a criminal in her ship – and besides, the Zabrak had no known bounty over his head as far as Reiel knew.

She continued to further direct the agent, telling him of an injured Devaronian henchman trapped in a storage room with its destroyed control panel. She followed up with a bound Rodian on the side of the building, and simply patted the agent on the arm out of habit when he moved away with a few other members of local security.

Done with giving her own directive, she turned to face the Cathar and looked up to meet his gaze. Reiel allowed herself another smile directed at him – he really was convinced that she wanted payment, wasn't he?

"You're very much welcome, chief," she told him, tone and body language friendly to ease his mind. "And to make things clear: I don't want any payment for this. Like you said, I really didn't have to come with you in the first place. That's my own decision, and for that, there's no payment involved. Ever."

Reiel tilted her head to the side like a curious Corellian hound. "And no, there's nothing to collect at a later date. No payment, remember? If anything, it's me who should thank you – if it weren't for your information, I wouldn't have found out of Tadu's connection with Theo. I should be the one paying you."

His concerns settled and cleared, the young Mandalorian could only let out an amused and grateful chuckle at his words. The Galaxy was wide, but she also knew that fate had funny ways of uniting people who have connected in different ways – in her case, meeting this Cathar Ranger who never even smiled in her presence yet merited Reiel's respect.

"Ah, that's for sure. And for the record, I don't want to be chased by the law, more so you – I stick with bounties who are criminals in the eyes of the law, just so you know," she replied in a joking tone but meaning her words nonetheless. And she did not want a Ranger on her tail should she find herself in trouble against the law, more so this giant in front of her. She'd seen him in action, after all... and Reiel had no desire to get her ass handed to her by the Cathar before getting locked up.

And should they meet again, maybe if he'd be on a job similar to this one, the young Mandalorian would be glad to help – payment be damned. Because somehow, with the way he spoke of future meetings, she could feel that the Ranger would have her back, too. Exactly as she would do for him. After all, he was one of the few people she actually held respect for.

A miracle happened soon after: the Cathar grinned. And while the gesture was tiny it was there, appearing genuine to her. Reiel's face flushed red at the sight and the subsequent praise, her own lips stretching in yet another happy smile. Damn, he should grin more often – he looked rather cute.

(She would NOT mention that last thought out loud, though. Reiel had a feeling that he won't appreciate her calling him cute. )

"Thank you very much. You were awesome yourself," she expressed sincerely. At the mention of the words 'occupational hazard', Reiel would assume that he was talking about the dead Twi'lek guard lying a few meters away from them. The young Mandalorian could only shrug bashfully at that – while she promised not to kill anyone only to break it afterwards, she would gladly do it again if it meant that the Cathar would be safe.

Recovering quickly from her embarrassment, Reiel would stretch out a hand again for the Ranger to shake, a reflection of the one he refused before their impromptu raid commenced. After all that's happened, she guessed that a proper introduction was in order.

"Reiel. Reiel Mal Crowholde," she would introduce herself, voice quiet enough so only the Cathar would hear. "Pleased to make your acquaintance, and more so at having to pull this raid off under your command, Ranger...?"

Reiel would trail off for him to fill out the blanks.

Arah Tizun nodded when Reiel gave her directives regarding the Zabrak. If that was her decision, he would not contest it.

"Very well. Transfer him to your care and hold him in your facility. I've no need for him, if the Rangers require him they will notify you." The response was directed to the response team that had arrived. The Cathar's target was Theo, he offered more in terms of leverage and insight then his associate - however that's not to say he was entirely useless.

He returned his attention to the Mandalorian as she spoke about not requiring payment. This time it was clear and he was able to let his demeanor soften slightly, the job was done and it was successful. There was no additional surprises to come and with the business concluded, the need for a transaction was null. He stepped back just enough to give him some space between him and her, with the distance he was able to get a good look at his mysterious partner. He looked her up and down, head to toe. He wasn't subtle about it. He was checking her out, but to ensure she was alright and hadn't sustained any injuries.

The Cathar's eyes locked on the burnt fabric for a second. His eyes moved now to her chest plate, noting the minor markings, and finally his eyes fell to her helmet as he inspected her cheek from afar. Satisfied she had not sustained any real injuries he closed the distance between them. This inspection occured while she talked about no payment now or in the future for this job. He hadn't said anything further, he only listened.

When she spoke about not being chased by the law, he understood. It wasn't the first time he heard something like that though - it always seemed a common thing. 'I didn't mean to' or 'I'll do better' or what she said, 'well he was a criminal' were just some of the things he had heard when someone was faced with a ranger. People always talk one way in your presence but change tune once you stepped away. Today though, he sincerely hoped she spoke the truth; he believed her, a bit, but he could never truly believe someone unless he could see their eyes, their face. Because so many messages could be conveyed when that was something present - people lie to the law after all.

But one one hand, he didn't distrust her. She has plenty of opportunities to compromise him and she didn't. Reiel would have no indications from the Ranger to suggest he didn't believe her sincerity however. Soon though, the ranger found himself holding his gaze on the mysterious female before him. He held his gaze and met what would typically be her eyes if circumstances were different. It was now, the only time he ever actually asked himself the question - what does she look like under that helmet? He didn't care for what she looked like under the armor, that was a common thing shared amongst people; but the face, the eyes, the features those were always unique attributes. Curious, what did she look like? He suspected he wouldn't know and really he didn't put too much thought or attention into this curiosity - he didn't think he was lingering enough to constitute being creepy or fixated.

"Tizun. Arah Tizun." He replied as he accepted her outstretched hand - his grip firm and dominating, a fighter's grip - there was no deal to be made now and no way something could be misinterpreted. Besides she had just told him her name and did a formal introduction. "Raid? Oh no. I wouldn't call this a raid, Mando. That's way different. This was a simple encounter."

If she stuck with him in the future, she'd see what a raid truly was.

Soon though, he would say his goodbyes to the Mandalorian before him on friendly note. He had a prisoner he need to process and deal with back and a secure location, he could hang around for a social meeting, not today. Further, he suspected she needed to get back to her client anyways; both were still on the job after all. Before departing however, he provided her a common frequency used by the Rangers. This would be their common line, she could call it and speak with a dispatcher who could then get her in touch with him; he wasn't prepared to give her his personal frequency, not yet.

With the goodbyes exchanged the Ranger set off with the local agency with his prisoner to start the first stages. He didn't need any medical attention either. After all that, he would collect his belongings from the safe house and depart on his own ship. He didn't have the teams look into the spaceport and report back to him about the client's ship though. He simply wanted the information to ensure they could depart with little to no hassle, but once they cleared the spaceport, the information would be purged. He had no intention of being a stalker, and frankly he wasn't overly concerned with wherever that ship went.

He suspected some day he would hear from the Mandalorian, maybe just to say 'hello.' But he wasn't holding his breath, and he wasn't waiting around to see her off.

He enjoyed today, the meeting and the work and he looked forward to getting some sleep for more than a couple of hours. It had been a long case, maybe he'd sleep for a day? He chuckled at the thought now that he was on the way back. Needless to say, he wasn't planning on taking another lengthy job just yet. Maybe he'll do some general work for a little while.

Meeting someone new who didn't want to shoot him or run from him. Taking down a spice dealer and confiscating the goods to be tested at their lab - he couldn't wait to offload this stuff to the lab. He hated this stuff, ruined people's lives - he'd seen it yet too much.

Yep, I suppose variety is the spice of life; and today, he definitely added a pinch of that to his life. Figuratively, and literally.

The way the Ranger checked on her while she spoke was not done with subtlety. It almost seemed as if he held the same concern she had for him when she surveyed any injury he received from the scuffle. The thought felt... well, more than nice. His gestures sure beat those who assessed her physical well-being not out of concern but for any sign of weakness they could exploit to use against her.

It was, after all, the fate of a lone Mandalorian who decided to make their way around the Galaxy. And Reiel knowingly and willingly chose this dangerous life the moment her adoptive father spoke the Vow of Adoption. To be a Mandalorian was to both be a hunter and a prey. A knife to the back was always to be expected when working with others not your own, and yet all the Cathar offered her was his leadership and – dare she say – trust for even letting her into his 'hunt' and seeing it to completion with her.

Nice was too pale and weak a word to describe what she felt right now as he finally accepted her proferred hand with a firm grip – a fighter's hand, from what little her glove allowed her to feel, and big enough to engulf her own hand whole. If only she was practicing the much looser version of the Way, Reiel would have already removed her helmet to show him not only her face but also the genuine and pleased smile she was giving him. The Cathar Ranger had given her his name in return, after all.

Arah Tizun. It fit him so well. Confident, knew exactly what he was doing, an adept fighter and thinker... and one who ultimately gained the young Mandalorian's respect.

She could tell him that, but decided against it. Reiel had a feeling that they would meet again, after all – one way or another.

The young Mandalorian laughed openly at Arah's correction, waving him off as their joined hands disconnected. The sound caught the other agents' attention, but Reiel's focus was solely owned by the Cathar at the moment. Even if his demeanor had softened somewhat, he still had it in him to correct her.

Oh, how she liked this guy. He'd make an awesome partner in a 'good cop, bad cop' scenario.

And she guessed which was which would depend on the situation.

"Then I guess I'd see what a raid is someday, huh, Ranger Tizun?" she joked, good-natured. "I'll be looking forward to that one: working with you and NOT against, mind you."

Reiel skipped the thought of letting him know that she might consider becoming a Ranger like him. No, not yet. She enjoyed the encounter today, she really did: meeting Arah Tizun at the local cantina, finding from him that one of her fellow hired guards was an associate of the dealer the Cathar was targeting to apprehend, and ending up getting both their quarries with much success because they have worked together.

It looked like Reiel did find the action she had been looking for when she accepted this bodyguard-slash-pretend boyfriend job. It would be something amazing to tell to the covert's foundlings once she got home, that was for sure.

Reiel accepted the common frequency Arah had provided her with – granted, it was not his personal line but the action spoke a lot nonetheless. She understood if he would not readily give her his own private frequency. At least she had something to contact him. The young Mandalorian would not hesitate to use what he'd given her. One day, maybe sooner rather than later, she would drop a casual 'hello' and 'how are things going your way'. Anything to give her the confirmation that he was still out there, being the badass Ranger he was.

The farewells they shared were on a friendly note, and Reiel couldn't be happier for it. With a final wave at the Cathar, the Mandalorian would return to her own client with the renewed vigor to continue the job she was originally undertaking. Reiel had a feeling that this wouldn't be the last job as a guard that she'd accept, as long as the client was decent and the pay would be good enough to help her provide for the clan.

Who knew I'd work with a Ranger today, all things considered, she thought, grinning to herself as she made her way through the crowds, back to the spaceport, and into her client's ship.

Reiel reunited with Hirani, congratulating her and a sheepish Cotan on their relationship. The young Mandalorian would then take her post with the female Aqualish, speaking quietly of her clan and how the children of Mandalore continued to endure. At the client's behest, they would soon leave Corellia and head to a new planet somewhere in the Core before Hirani's return to her family.

Mask the Cathar had provided laid gently on a table and the Rodian guard's blaster pistol added to her arsenal, Reiel committed Arah Tizun's face, personality, and voice to memory, grin turning into an optimistic smile.

Here's to seeing you and working with you again, buddy.

With that final thought, Reiel tipped the small glass of ne'tra gal to her lips, face freely uncovered in the privacy of her own room.

I had so much fun RPing with you, Zigara. Looking forward to do it again. Thanks! :D
