HISTORY: (Joran Varik is a Kiffar of the planet Kiffu.Most people misinterpret that kiffu is his species' real name.The Kiffar are a separate race from humans, but they are smaller and more nimble).Joran Varik's parents are unknown.He was found wandering the desert aimlessly when he was six.Joran was discovered by an mercenary who was scouting a trade caravan for a mission.The mercenary's name was Ren Passik.She felt inclined to take the child lest he warn the trade caravan.So while she was completing her mission she made him stay on her ship.During the ride back to Coruscant she found that she had grown a soft spot for Joran.
She decided that after she collected the money for her previous mission she would raise Joran like she was his mother.When Joran was 7 Ren started to teach Joran in the arts of dagger wielding and martial arts(this is when he received his Cortosis daggers).She herself was good with them, but due to his innate agility she was astounded to find that he was very adept with blades and stealth.When Joran was twelve Ren resumed her duties as a freelancer and took him with her to give him some experience and hoping that he would be willing to live his life as a mercenary.When Joran was 16 he was on a mission with Ren to investigate a landing of unidentified crafts.The craft turned out to be a fleet of Sith carriers.The sith in charge of the squad sent troops with a freighter a few days before to scout and stake out an LZ for his troops to land without opposition. While Joran and Ren were scouting the Sith landing eight scouts found them and snuck up behind them and shot Ren in the back of the head.Joran jumped to the side and dodged the next incoming blaster bolt, then went into a blind rage and killed 7 of the troopers without getting hit.This is when the remaining scout cut him across the chest with his vibroblade and figured that Joran would bleed to death, so he left Joran to die.It was at this moment when Joran was bleeding out that he realized he was psychometric.He was still hiding his Cortosis daggers underneath his cloak and he could see their bloody past.He saw countless visions of death and then finally he saw the image of Ren.he smiled and said to himself "I will avenge your death at any cost."
Joran woke up and found himself bandaged and lying on a bed he was disrobed with the exception of his undergarments, he started to freak out because he wasn't used to his surroundings and was eased back by a beautiful woman of about 20.He fell back asleep and woke up a day later and he saw the family eating food at the dinner table.They heard him stirring and rushed to his side to comfort him.It was at this moment that the woman introduced herself as Erisi Sunfell.She had two younger siblings one boy and one girl.The boy was about eight and the girl was about three.The girl's name was Vania Sunfell and the boy's name was Grenz Sunfell.Joran lived with them for two years falling even more in love with Erisi and her family.Joran had lived with Erisi for one year when they decided to get married.During the second year of their marriage the Sith landed and started ravaging the villages, and killing everyone.Finally when the Sith got to Joran's farm he was on the opposite side of the farm his weapons long hidden away to avoid fighting.He heard a commotion and ran over two the farmhouse where he found three Sith troops hovering around Erisi and her siblings.Just as Joran ran into the room he saw a wide terrified look on Erisi's face just as she and her siblings were cut down by the troopers.Joran went straight into a blind rage just after this happened and massacred the troops with his bare hands.After that he vowed once again to kill every last Sith alive.He packed up his things and took Erisi's family necklace which shows a half-sun half-moon as the same sphere and headed out to take the next ship out to Coruscant.His first two years he spent a majority of his time getting drunk to wipe away the painful memories.It was on the eve of his wedding anniversary the second year when he decided that enough wasa enouh and that he would start fighting again for revenge.(He trained for four long years and this is where we find him now)
